Went to this Walmart to buy a phone. Associate in Electronics said that manager was the only one who could unlock phones, and she was at another store. Went back a few hours later because she was supposed to come back, but she did not. Went back to this Walmart the day after and she had left again. Had to take her kids to the doctor, and associate was not sure when she would return. This is ridiculous. Why isn't there another person who can fill in when she's gone? Done with this store. No!!!! I was shopping for tires for both my wife and I. Two cars and they wouldn't even answer the phone. Called once and nobody picked up in automotive. The second time I called I opted for the operator of the store. She picked up and before I could ask she hung up on me. Tried calling back and it would ring a couple of times and it wouldn't connect. We stopped in here to pick up some supplies as we were spending the night in a local Airbnb. It was a very typical Walmart store with a lot of selection. We also found quite a few items throughout the store that we don't see in our local Walmarts. We picked up a selection of food for everyone in our group and wandered around the store looking at some of the other sections. I actually found quite a few toys that a friend back home would really like but I didn't pick anything up while I was there. All in all it was a typical Walmart with pretty good prices on most everything. read more

I have 3 major concerns for the store in Hendersonville, NC. #1 - it appears when items are stocked and they run out of room on the shelves they put items on top shelf out of reach and don't go back to put items in proper location. #2 - almost every time I shop this store there are very few check outs with attendant and the lines are so long. #3 - looks like online / pick-up shopping is getting bigger and bigger. Very frustrating having to compete with Walmart employees that are filling orders with their carts and not paying attention to regular shoppers. Horrifying to be accused of stealing, "asset protection" stopped my family and i on the way out because apparently we didn't scan "a lot of things" when in reality it was only ONE item out of like 30 we PAID for that didn't scan, a couple of lemons/limes miscounted and some cough drops which were of different brands, i had to scan one brand twice because one barcode did not work. Not my fault. Fix your scanners. (they took the one brand we didn't scan but did not refund the money so who really stole from who?)In my opinion we were cooperative but when I asked why we ALL needed to write our names down and address the lady ( who i could honestly care less what her name is) responded very rudely "we can do this the easy way or i can call the police" over $5?? Insane. I was asking because you want all this info but WHY? at least explain what's going on. The entire time they spent going item by item in our cart 50 people probably walked out with more expensive things lol. We have been shopping here forever and to be treated like this was wild. I was so pissed. She ended up taking ALL of our pictures and talking about we will not be pressing charges today . Girl please over $5?? we could've just payed. We had no need to be stealing. If the issue was the fact we didn't scan the items correctly you could've just said that, you should NOT have accused us of stealing. I lost a bet with myself and have to use this store's restroom. I don't think the situation can get any worse because of the odd yet familiar stench that all of these stores seem to have. The guardian at the entrance said hello to a shopping cart that wasn't moving; I was in the opposite direction. I suggest using a different restroom and saving your money instead of buying these products. In the end, if you are shopping here then chances are you don't need whatever it is that you want to buy. Well I'm overwhelmed. I ordered something online for in-store pick up. I dreaded the line I KNEW I would have to endure at customer service. WRONG! I marched up to the counter and told them I was there to pick up my order. I was directed to a HUGE orange kiosk type thing that said simply:"pick up." At "pick up" there was a simple instruction: scan your receipt or enter the numbers on your receipt on the screen. I followed the instructions by scanning. The screen became transparent and there was some mechanical whirring; a package appeared on a conveyor belt just beyond the now clear screen. The package came toward me; the screen raised and VOILA! There was my item. I kept expecting an alarm or something to let me know this was some kind of high tech prank. Nope. That was it. I had my order and after standing there for a few seconds with my jaw dropped, inspecting this phenomenon, I left. Makes me want to order some more just to watch it all over again! read more

This auto center is abhorrent. I was here at 3 pm today for a simple tire patch. When I pulled in there was no one waiting. At 4:30 I asked about the car and they had not even started it! I had seen people come and go over and over. When I asked about it the mechanic admitted to not starting my tire and said "I could start it now but if someone else comes in I'm taking them first" I'm not sure if he in general did not like me or if he's a sexist pig but I was so mad I left. Came here for a pick up order and called number, gave them the space and waited 45 minutes. Called again and never checked in by employee that answered. Then watched them after I called deliver to at least 4 people even after I called second time.Now 1 hour and 15 minutes they delivered finally and rude. Worst Walmart experience I've ever had for something that supposed to be convenient. I'll never come here again. This store and associates are a complete soup sandwich! We have had progressively worsening experiences here with the grocery pickup "service", but today really took the cake. My wife was kept waiting for approximately three hours after checking in to pick up our order, while employees stood around outside cutting up. This review is specifically for the tire center. I bought 2 tires, made an appointment, and showed up early. Started out nice, the guy told me that they would text me when they were done with the tires. Waited around Walmart for 2 hours, finally decided to go check on them, since I never got the text message I was promised. Stood at the counter for 20 minutes, ringing the stupid bell that does not work. Turns out... they were done with my tires already, they had been sitting there. If you like your time wasted then I highly suggest coming here. If you want customer service and not to be lied to, I would say look anywhere else first.. Second battery from Walmart has gone bad in less than two years. I'm currently sitting at this one in Hendersonville and have been for two hours to get the battery tested and replaced. I was here when the store opened and now there are five cars here waiting. Not one car has been brought into the bay yet and the store has been open two hours. Manager was rude and patronizing when arrived. 2.5 hrs later I finally have a replacement battery but Im still sitting here waiting for them to install it. read more

I really like this Walmart and it's very close to where I live. Most of the employees are really nice and friendly, courteous. Especially their customer service desk. With one exception: an employee by the name of Heidi Anne. She seems to always be manning the self checkouts at night and she is beyond rude and dismissive. I find that things I scan frequently ring up the wrong price and she always gives me a hassle about it. Last night, she said - oh you again? Like it's my fault that the right prices are not in the system. I even witnessed her treating a coworker (Noah) VERY rudely last night - telling him he'd better "get back from break 5 mins early" or else she was leaving and he'd get in trouble for it. REALLY? UPDATE AS OF 9/5/19: this Walmart has seriously gone downhill. CSM's with a superiority complex, shelves ALWAYS bare and what's in stock is a huge mess. No one here cares. I was told tonight that Walmart will no longer take printable coupons!! That is a lie, per Walmart corporate. My coupon exactly matched the item I was buying and they wouldn't allow it. Also, discrimination against the disabled because they rope off entire grocery sections (4 aisles tonight alone). I do understand the need to clean and polish floors - but literally the floor polishing machine sat unattended and unused for the entire hour I was in the store. I have just recently had knee surgery and it's hard for me to walk around the entire perimeter of the store to try and find just 1 thing. I have been using grocery delivery for over 2 years, and I had not yet used Walmart's grocery delivery before today. I am so pleased with the entire shopping experience and I will continue to use them from now on. The produce was fresh, my order was completed without any errors. Beat Wal-Mart I've ever been too. They make you lock your bookbag or large bags to reduce stealing which is nice because then you don't have to carry your bags. Lol It was very clean and well stocked. The bathrooms were the cleanest I've seen for Wal-Mart. There was a dog left in the car and when we let them know they immediately intercommed the person and was prepared to get the dog out if they didn't come. My favorite part was the cashiers rolling around with bug balloons that said, check out with me. Andnthey could check you out quickly. I've never seen that before! Loved It! In and out. read more

At 6:30 A.M. I called the supercenter on 4 seasons blvd in Hendersonville and there was no answer, I let the phone ring for five minutes to no avail. When I am there, there aren't any handicap machines for me to ride in that are available. It is difficult for me to walk long distances and that is what I end up doing using a regular cart as a walker. I am not a fan of Walmart as a result. read more

The only thing good about this place is the workers.Learn from the Arden location.The store is never stocked it's dirty and has a massive homeless and drug problem constantly effecting shopping experience.The bathrooms are something that horror movies aspire to be.A trip to this location consists of trying to walk in the store passed tweakers then going to get things on your list that owe wait haven't been stocked in a month.The workers at the registers and electronics are amazing.That doesn't fix the fact this place needs help. read more

My experience had been nothing but positive. Ben in grocery is one of the nicest most professional young men I have met in a long time. He appears to be a very hard worker and is always polite and cheerful. I purchase pallets of product and he and several other employees load my vehicle and are conscientious and efficient. He always welcomes me, orders what I need, calls me when it is ready and invites me back to purchase more. The customer service people are also very kind and considerate. read more

I went to the Hendersonville NC Supercenter for an uneven wear adjustment on a set of tires purchased and warranteed by WalMart. Two tire service workers immediately began to disqualify my situation citing causes other than product deficiencies. Without testing, they were adament that the problem was due to the front end being out of alignment. Getting nowhere I went to an all-service garage and purchased a replacement set of tires. This facility was sure and I confirmed when driving afterwards that the serious vibration I had experienced was from the WalMart tires. I have two complaints. The tire manager was prepared at the outset to turn down my warranty entitlement without more than a superficial examination of the tires. Secondly, the one page WalMart warranty I retained with my sales materials was grey on a white background and of a print size so small these employees were comical to see attempting to read it There is no doubt in my mind that corporate office deliberately constructed the warranty document in such a way as to discourage reading it and to hide a plethora of legalize to confuse even their employees from understanding and applying it. I won't shop at WalMart again and I would urge others to put no faith in their products or services. read more

Called them to see if they could use prescription on file from broken glasses to make a new pair and the sweet guy said yes. Drove 20 miles to the Vision Center and a different guy named Brad or Brett who looks like he's going for a Kenny Loggins look helped me. He started out by insulting me saying the glasses I chose were like trying to fit a size 10 foot into a size 8 shoe. Then, when he looked up my prescription he started talking to me like I was 5 saying that the prescription was a year old (it was from October). If I hadn't already called and made sure they could do this, I would understand but that's 40 miles of wasted driving all because this guy is on some sort of power trip. Don't really like Walmart but that is where I get my medication . The employees just aren't that friendly they are helpful but as some have said to me they aren't happy working there. Best place to buy milk and very good prices on food but they don't carry the brands I prefer. Store is always crowed which is good for walmart but hard to get through. If people drive on highway as they drive buggies in the store that is scary everybody knows you push cart in store just as you would drive on the road it just doesn't happen that way. I think if the employees were happier it would be a better store but you have to work sometimes you don't get a choice. Just wish they carried more brands. read more

The pharmacy is an unprofessional embarassment. The cashier, Amy, was very rude and beyond unhelpful. The tech, Lisa, and their pharmacist were both unable to read/fill prescription correctly and then Amy lied to me about it. The prescription was for 3 bottles of eye drops and she gave us said "we read it as 3 mL." Rather than argue and wait for another 30 minutes I took the one bottle which was only 2.5 mL. So although they "read it as 3 mL" they did not even make it 3 mL. read more
