The salmon cake had a smokey flavor first time someone made salmon cakes and got it right. I had home fried potatoes and cheddar cheese grits (I know both lol) and eggs scrambled with cheddar cheese.i washed it down with all the coffee I could drink lol. My grandson had cinnamon pancakes they looked good and from the way he sounded while eating them the tasted good too. You know how I love dessert so we got a d shard and apple crepe smh, doesn't get any better soooooo good. The price was not bad at all. The wholtime there I kept eyeing my grandson sweet tea lol. I got one for the road really good sweet tea. The atmosphere was nice soft country music played the decor was really nice, checkered curtains and a fire place. If your looking for subtle elegance, great hot food without breaking the bank give this place a try. When I go back I am having the crepe Florentin recommended by Miss full of energy Bonnie. Until next time. VJ

The Farmhouse fills up quickly on a weekend morning. Service was friendly and not rushed at all. I met the owner and he was super nice. That alone made me want to return. Coffee was OK, though there was a wait for it. I'm not really a traditional breakfast person, but the blueberry pancakes are fantastic. They are delicious with tons of blueberries. I wished the potatoes were a little crispier and better seasoned. Bacon was good. I'd absolutely return for breakfast, though I'm also looking forward to trying other menu items.

First, a fair warning to visitors - if you do not know Spanish you will likely feel a bit lost and…read moreout of place. A lot of the signage was in Spanish and so was the language people spoke. I know enough Spanish to speak to a 4 year old, so I was way out of my league! I noticed upon arrival that they have some baked good, grocery goods, and apparently hot dishes given there were a few tables where people were actively eating. I just kind of strolled around for a minute looking lost. There is no one readily available to help people like me with the deer-in-headlights look. I had hoped to try an empanadas but it seemed intimidating so I strolled over to the shelves where there were various breads, pastries and cookies. I was still a bit lost because I first saw people with trays and grabbing breads but I thought they might be employees. But after wandering in another circle I noticed a lady grabbing a tray and tongs. I then saw the little sign that said to use the trays and tongs for the baked goods. I then followed the lady and managed to grab a few items. I had hoped for some cupcakes or donuts but saw neither. I did however get a cheese danish, a couple of cookies and a couple of breads. The items I got were pretty good and the bread was fairly soft. I certainly wasn't disappointed in any of the items I grabbed, I only wished there were a few other sweet items and a better system to better understand how best to navigate the store. But all things considered, the baked goods were good enough that I may very well be back to sample other items.

While waiting for my order, I noticed the staff (who seemed pretty young, not saying that negatively, just observationally) loudly talking about not getting tips. Loud enough for the whole place to hear. That was my first sign that the atmosphere might be off. When my order was ready, they didn't call out the item or confirm anything, they just said my name, tossed the tied-up bag on the counter, and walked away. I watched them call other orders properly with names and items, so the contrast stood out. Regardless of how good food may be, customer experience matters. I didn't ask for a manager because I've worked in management before, and I know staff behavior often reflects internal leadership and environment. Still, it's something worth noting: even for quick-service or takeout spots, courtesy and professionalism go a long way. This interaction felt dismissive and honestly off-putting. I'm not writing this to be harsh, just to be honest. This is why I prefer to tip in casHopefully it's something the team can improve on, because small interactions shape the whole experience.

They not only had hand dipped ice cream and soft serve, to include every variation of sundae and milkshake and "blend," but they offered a lunch and breakfast menu too! They make all of the ice cream and most of the treats in-house. They also partner with local businesses to sell things like custom straw cups and lotion. The cashier was super patient as we sorted out our order, and they will bring your order to you at a table outside or to your car. Outside there are picnic tables, cafe tables, Adirondack chairs, and a swing set for the kiddos. The ice cream was soooo delicious! I got a blend, and there were huge pieces of candy included. Definitely worth a stop if you are nearby!

Also, I wish they had indoor seating but it's too small inside. But the latte was really good too-basically an iced caramel macchiato but I think they call it the Bessie or Betty. Something like that. The sandwich had ham, turkey, cheese, bacon, and I asked for mayo instead of honey mustard. It's supposed to come with avocado but it didn't. Unless that's what the weird yellow/green sauce on it was supposed to be. I thought they forgot to leave off the honey mustard. But the sandwich was still amazing. The staff were super nice. The Amish people selling their produce were kind as well. Plenty of seating outside. I would come here again for the latte and a sandwich any day of the week.
