New management since the last time we were here. Orders were taken & delivered with a smile, restaurant was clean and the Manager, Ashley, stopped to visit with us for a bit. She heard one of my friends comment that she would work at a Dunkin just to get one of their brightly colored shirts. Ashley walked up to us moments later and gave each of us a shirt of our own! This Dunkin location is easy to get to and has adequate parking. The entrance is a little wonky and there's about six tables to sit at if you choose to dine in. There were many employees working but not a single one welcomed us. We picked up our mobile order And chose to eat in the car because it was really cold in the dining room. I got two wraps and a coffee which is hotter than Hades. My daughter's chicken biscuit was good but not as good as Chick-fil-A. Would I come here again? Definitely for a coffee and/or a doughnut. The current staff is excellent and do a good job. My only gripe is having to order using the self ordering kiosk, which has to be the most convoluted piece of software ever written. I stopped by after class to get the potion macchiato that's advertised to be ube and marshmallow flavored. The guys working here handed me a regular coffee and closed the window on me before I could ask "where's the purple?!" I've had it before, and I know it's not supposed to taste like a regular coffee drink. Kinda sucks to spend an extra few bucks on a special drink just to get a regular one. I went in and ordered a frozen coffee and two orders of the bagel minis! Unfortunately, they didn't have the syrup concentrate for the frozen coffee but the guy at the window recommended espresso and I have to say, I like it sooo much more!!! The bagel minis I got were cold in the middle but they guy at the window was very very sweet and give me and entirely new order of them! Needless to say, I gave him a $4 tip!! Made an order over the app, and when we got there they didnt have any avocados for their bacon tomato avocado sandwich. So we ended up replacing it with another sandwich and ask to get it cut in half. They went beyond and wrap the cuts separately as well. If Dunkin as a corporation was judged based on what this location is serving, I can't see how they would still be in business. The espresso drinks always taste burnt. The donut I had today was so hard it could have been used as a weapon lol. The last try previous to this one the sandwich I ordered was inedible as well. I think I'm throwing in the towel. I have been to this Dunkin' several times because I love cream filled donuts. Several times the cream filled donuts only had cream at the hole where the cream goes in. The rest of the donut had NO cream. Yesterday we went because my niece wanted donuts. We got a dozen donuts. When I got home and tried a donut, I noticed that at least six of the 12 donuts are hard as rocks. I mean, not just a little hard, but very, very hard. Donuts are too expensive now to pay for something that you can not eat! Next time, I will travel to Dawsonville to get donuts! read more

During the week I get the same vanilla bean iced coffee, cream only, at Dunkin' every morning on the way to work, that location is on Thompson Bridge and they are consistent every time. This location in dahlonega I go to every Saturday because it's closer and it's so inconsistent, every time. I don't know if the pumps don't work right or what but I haven't gotten a good iced coffee from here since we moved out here and that's been about eight visits to this location. They're always bitter and almost black with hardly no flavoring or cream. No more trips to this one, we'll just have to go to Dawsonville Dunkin' for iced coffee from now on. This place is a waist of time and money for nasty coffee literally every time I get them here. read more

I stop here often and the staff is always friendly. The dining area is usually clean and I've even met a regular or two and had some conversations with them. This is a good stop for motorcyclists heading into N GA by way of Dahlonega. I hadn't reviewed this Dunkin Donuts before because, frankly, the too-loud music in the dining area always irritated me. I found the volume distracting. However, lately when I have gone in there, they've changed to an oldies rock station and turned down the volume. The staff is still always friendly and for motorcyclists, you can either park near Moe's next door, where the lot is flat, or head into the drive thru but keep going and park across from the drive-thru window, where the lot is flat. I personally like the Dunkin Donuts chain. Starbucks burns their beans and their pastries are laden with overly-sweet corn syrup and whatnot, so it is nice to roll in and get a tasty medium-roast coffee and a muffin or croissant, or even a sandwich to satisfy a lunch craving. read more

We recently had a party at a near by park and needed coffee. Stopped by to grab a box and upon having the first cup (with in 30 min of pickup) it was not hot, not really even warm. Service here is always great, however while I was waiting on my order, I saw the manager( an older gentleman with tattoos) come out through the back entrance and yell at his employee to get back to work, she had stepped outside to take a phone call, she looked very upset and concerned. Went to Dunkin' Donuts in dahlonega today at 9:26 am and ordered a coffee when I got to the window they handed me the coffee it was a small and I ordered a medium so they remade it the girl at the window had an attitude she handed me the new coffee and I got home and was drinking the coffee it was disgusting not the coffee I ordered. My husband and I visited there over the weekend each of us having a latte, my husband's with an extra shot. This had to be the WORST latte we have ever had. When I inquired with employees how often they clean their espresso machine one of them tried to tell me how espresso is stronger than regular coffee..."I'm sorry that's not what I asked you. I know what espresso is and how it should taste. This coffee smells and tastes burned and bitter. When was the last time you cleaned your machine?" She replies, they clean it every night. So basically at this DD all the espresso grounds that get caught throughout the day in the machine are being cooked over and over and over again, resulting in an awful latte by 2pm in the afternoon. Today 11/24/20, I did a mobile order about 10 minutes before arrival which also included a hot mocha latte reward. When I arrived there were three cars ahead of me in the pick up line. I was nearly 10 minutes waiting to get to the window. The car ahead of me waited a long time and I assumed they were getting sandwiches. When their order was given, it was 2 drinks. I pulled up and they asked what I got. I told them I had placed a mobile I refer and they took my name. I waited and waited. Finally they asked what kind of drink I ordered. Then I waited and waited again. Finally the gave me the sandwich I had mobile ordered. The sandwich was not jus cooled off but was plain cold as if it had come out of the frig. I waited some more for my drink. All total, I waited at the window for about 7 minutes while the cars lined up behind me. For at least 3 years, I have used this Dunkin' at least 1 time a day ever day for coffee etc. Lately, this coffee shop has become unusable. Today 1/19/2020 i arrive at 7:45 am for my daily coffee and the store was completely closed but the automatic drive thru message was working. All 3 visits before that, I was unable to get an espresso drink. The first time the machine was being cleaned, the 2nd time the machine was broken and the third time the store ran out of milk. Lastly, the bagels I have ordered there last 2 times were incredibly stale. I see a systematic decline in service and have been driving 40 minutes out of my way to use the Dunkin or Startbuck in Dawsonville. read more

We've lived here almost three years and I keep thinking they will catch on and get better. But they don't. We waited in line behind three people for over 10 min, then waited another ten min to get our order. When I bit into my chicken croissant, it was ice cold in the middle. This is the absolute worst fast food place I have ever been to. We waited in line for 30 minutes after ordering. Not sure what is going on inside but each car sits at the pick up window for 5 to 10 minutes each. We would have left the line but we're stuck in line to due a brick wall blocking us in. Every single gosh darn time I have been here they mess up my order. Burnt bagels, old syrup for coolattas, too much sugar in my iced coffee (and I specifically tell them how many pumps of each I want), coffee that tastes burnt or bottom of the barrel, and long wait times. The only time I have had a good experience is when the old guy made my food. Seriously guys, get it together! Also, the employees are pretty rude. I LOVE DD coffee. I think it's the best around. But this location is a constant and consistent disappointment. I'm calling customer service to see whether or not I can possibly be reimbursed for some of the coffee I have had to trash. My advice? Taking a minute to review this place only because the person at the drive thru basically yelled at us not to "even think about ordering Munchkins" because they couldn't cook them fast enough to sell them.
