It was my first time ever trying Dunkin and had it twice on my trip in Chicago. It had coffee and it tasted fine, nothing outstanding but I liked that it wasn't sour, I prefer dark roast and it was good. I liked the small hash bites that I got for breakfast and the other time their breakfast sandwich was nice and hearty, too. I got the cake donut it was so so (dry). I should've ordered another kind. read more

I had a pumpkin spice latte and cookie butter donut and they were both great! There was only one worker, so it was going to be a 20 minute wait for any hot breakfast items. This was disappointing because that's why we came. However, the young lady who waited on us was amazing!!! I've never seen an employee who was working alone and had a long line of people waiting that could remain calm, composed, and efficient. That young lady needs to be a manager and get a raise. read more

Dunkin' - Pumpkin Spice Latte - Donuts Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I was putting in an order at the self check out and the lady working the warming area with the bandana, yelled so harsh telling me there was no croissants. When she finished my order she threw the bag on the hand off counter and walked away. As I'm waiting for the rest of my order, another lady comes in seemingly starting her shift, walks through the doors and says "Oh shit!" So loudly. Really unprofessional. It's sad bc this location is in a professional building. Please do better. read more

The service was terrible and the location is hard to find. If you're going from the Hyatt Regency hotel, it's on the same side of the street as the West Tower, then go down a set of stairs outside to the doors that say "The Shops at Illinois Center". From inside there the signage is is pretty clear on where to go. The lady serving at the counter was very rude. They were out of the type of donuts I ordered, so I asked if she could replace it, and she directly ignored me and moved on to the next customers and I did not get the donut that I paid for. Surprisingly, the coffee was very good compared to the service so if you're only ordering a coffee, you'll probably have a good experience. I did not. read more

This is the Dunkin inside Michigan Plaza/ Illinois Center. I always have a positive experience at this Dunkin. They handle mobile and in-store orders like a boss. My food is almost always ready when I walk in - and I've even ordered from the wrong location (whoops) and they still fulfilled for me. They have great staff - ANDDD I'm in love with their Beyond sausage sandwiches! Love love love! read more

Convenient donut and coffee shop. Good coffee and a large selection of donuts. Consistent quality, you know what you will get. They also have bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Located under the buildings between E Wacker Dr, Michigan Ave and Randolph it is easy to get to and you don't have to go outside - that's the best thing about this location 11/100 read more

Dunkin' - A rude Dunkin' Donuts !!!!! - Donuts Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

We don't have these chains in California so I had to try it. During the hours of 3-5pm they have 99 cent iced teas or iced coffees. Doesn't matter what size. So cheap!! I'll be back!! So so so cheap! read more

In San Diego, you can be damn sure there's a Starbucks on almost every corner. I've never encountered such a phenomena elsewhere until I touched base in Chicago. However, instead of the corporate monopoly being in Starbucks' favor, it was Dunkin' Donuts that held the ever-pervasive position as purveyor of coffee and artery-choking breakfast food. A simple mention or passing remark of Dunkin' Donuts is likely to induce within the average Chicago local an orgasm of the oral cavity. For sure, Dunkin Donuts has captured the hearts, minds and unprecedented amounts of discretionary income of many a Chicagoan. In light of this, I cannot imagine Dunkin Donuts' success being credited to anything other than a severely delusional, sugar cult following. I can hear the enraged hoi polloi running (rather slowly no thanks to excessive dough nut consumption) to pelt me with spoiled tomato-flavored, dough nuts and lock me in the sugar stocks, but bear with me... Okay, so I lied. That's all I've got, really. One star for being on every fricking corner. GENIUS! Not only is this nasty aggressive for potential competitors, but it's effective product placement that irrepressibly thrusts into the mind of the consumer the necessity of Dunkin Donuts' existence. MUST.....EAT....DONUTS..NOW ...!!!...?/...ROOOOOOOAR! Never mind the fact that such marketing strategies are competitively predatory and fatally flawed as they are outright unprofitable in the long run. For an up-to-date case in point, please refer to the current state of affairs at Starbucks. Another star for the super aesthetic dough nut presentation trickery that fooled me into splurging at this saccharine shit shack not only once, but TWICE during my brief visit. My bull shit receptor was apparently jammed by the pounds of sugar-encrusted lard I willingly allowed to be passed through my digestive tract. For the love God--relieve me of this filmly residue that has forever disrupted the natural disposition of my mouth!!! I guess what I mean is if I'm going to subject my cardiovascular system to the mercy of a mere dough nut, that dough nut better rock my face off and make my teeth break dance. This was a mortal failure. A disgustingly stale, sugar-coated mortal failure. And I won't even get into the coffee situation.. I'm just sayin'. read more

Still very fast and efficient, but today, there was a bit of a tussle between employees on who would take my money. One employee rung me up with no problem, but it's like nobody wanted to handle the actual exchange of cash for goods. Anyway - will still come to the DD. read more

This is the worst DD I have ever been to. They are never up to par on there menu items and the help is no help. They claim not to have ice coffee but they are serving coffee to the customers so maybe they just don't know how to make the ice coffee. I've ordered items on the app only to arrive at the restaurant and be told the item isn't available and I will need to request a credit through the app. Which by the way my money was never refunded since Reymi the Support Center Coordinator gave me a case number but never responded to any of my emails and my case went unsolved. I have since closed my account with DD and removed their app as I refuse to ever step into another DD in my life. read more

This is for the Baskin Robbins that is combined w/ the DD at this location. The ice cream never disappoints but the service isn't that great. I always have the same server and she's not friendly at all. More like she's trying to get rid of you. She willingly gives you samples but is not knowledgeable about the flavors. I asked what a flavor was (assuming it was pistachio with almonds but there was no sign so i asked to make sure) and she wasn't sure. She just said that it was ice cream with some kind of almond. lol not very helpful? She also doesn't speak english that well. It's hard for me to understand her read more

Yumm!! I'm so sad there's no dunkin donut in the Bay Area. They have coconut flavored coffee! And some other yummy sounding ones. I'm so stupid though I should've taken advantage of the coffee trip because I've converted to only black coffee so I got an iced coconut coffee, black. Normally ill get soy in it but they don't have soy. So it's basically black coffee with coconut low notes of flavor. It definitely would've been tastier if I got cream and sugar in it. And I didn't get a donut... Hahaha. I got hash browns because im not big on donuts. I was wondering where the ketchup was but I thought its okay I can live without it. Then I took a bite and thought, oh I don't even need ketchup with these!! So good!! Best tasting hash browns ever! I think there's some herb seasoning in it but damn... The next day I went to another location and I didn't get a donut again... Haha! Smh. But I did get the Tuna melt on flat bread and it was so good! Big points on providing other types of breakfast sandwiches besides the typical sausage, eggs, ham, etc, etc... I absolutely do not enjoy those type of breakfast sandwiches and I feel like their menu put consideration for people like me :) but this other spot only put 3 hash browns in my lil Baggie!! :/ ugh. Not cool. But it's okay because my bf gave me more of his hahahaha. Their brewed coffee is good. It's bold but not bitter or too strong. Nor cal dunkin donut, where u at?!?!? read more

I normally wouldn't bother writing a review for a chain coffee shop but this Dunkin Donuts deserves props for their efficiency and setup each morning. While Starbucks has a line 40 people deep Dunkin Donuts quickly and efficiency gets you in and out within minutes. I never waited longer than a min to place my order. I also love how they put the cream in my coffee for me so I don't have to deal with it. Thanks :) read more

great coffee, but i must say. Compared to other Dunkins, their coffee is EXTREMELY HOT They brew it nice and bold, very strong. Just beware that you will burn your tongue from initial taste. Request for a little ice with your cup of joe!!! read more

Anyone that knows me knows I go crazy for egg mcmuffins (w/bacon instead of ham)...but mcdonald's is evil in that they serve them until 10:30. Considering I always want them when I'm hungover, this just doesn't fly. Luckily, dunkin donuts is just down the street. I have definitely picked up a bacon, egg n cheese sandwich around 4pm. They get major props for serving breakfast all day. But, their sandwiches don't compare to McDonald's. 3 stars for sandwiches, 5 stars for serving them past 10:30am. read more

Compared to other Dunkin' Donuts this place is just okay. I work in the building that this Dunkin' Donuts is located so I've been here quite a few times. They often have long lines during the rush hours, but they seem to handle it pretty well. Why isn't this place a 4 or 5 star? Well their doughnut selection is lacking compared to other Dunkin' Donuts and their coffee drinks are WAY too inconsistent - sometimes it's all milk, other times there's barely a splash. No two drinks look the same. It's convenient for me though, so I'll keep stopping in whenever it's my turn to buy a box of doughnuts. read more

This review took place on my visit to Chicago 4 months ago when i bit into Apple Cider Donut civil war over baked goods has taken root in mid-Atlantic America, pitting Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (founded in 1937 in North Carolina) against Dunkin' Donuts (1950 in Massachusetts). All the cool kids who grew up parking their used Hondas and dented pickups in front of twenty-four-hour "Dunkies" while cutting Biology class in New Jersey high schools are now donning suits and ties and palming oven-hot glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts on their way to work. But like the first Civil War this great nation faced, the South will once again inevitably yield to the masterful seduction of the North. In September, Dunkin' Donuts unleashed its unstoppable fighting force: the Apple Cider Donut. Weighing in at 250 calories (energy!) strong, Dunkin' Donuts' secret weapon in the baked-goods war to end all wars is referred to in strategic terms as the Cinnamon Frosted Apple Cider Cake Donut, or C.F.A.C.C.D. It is topped with an arsenal of autumnally colored sprinkles, or "jimmies" for our Southern friends, and it will not hesitate to use all necessary force. One might say that the C.F.A.C.C.D. is the greatest example of a hot beverage transmuted into a food since the invention of coffee ice cream. I would certainly say so. But their destructive capabilities have a short shelf life, and therefore they will not be offered after November, by which time the North will have hopefully claimed victory once and for all. read more

I'm rating this based on what it really is and not comparing it to a bakery where the donuts are a gazillion times better. As far as the donuts go they seem to almost always be on the verge of being stale but not quite there. As far as the breakfast sandwiches go they don't come close to comparing to even say a McDonald's. Overall though if you're in a huge time crunch and need some edible, although not necessarily great tasting food, stop in and they'll get you on your way quickly and help fill that void in your stomach. read more

You know what's delicious? A toasted salt bagel with cream cheese. And Dunkin Donuts' version isn't half bad (I guess there isn't much competition in Chicago). Mmm, salty. Tip: eat it before it gets cold. read more

Long lines but worth the wait for coffee. After refusing to wait in the Starbucks line for 10 minutes or more, I ventured to Dunkin Donuts. I have not been able to stop going back. The coffee is amazing. And a great value. A drawback? Styrofoam cups...while it keeps your coffee hot, it's far from environmentally friendly. Take your own cup if you go. They'll fill it for the same price. read more

I wish we have dunkin donuts in the west coast. The first time I saw dunkin donut is at the Buffalo , NY airport. There are a lot of ppl lining up for donuts and coffee. I was telling myself " HOW GOOD CAN IT BE??" I didn't try it because I was thinking it is just a donut. When I came back to Calif, i was looking up dunkin donut's website and the donuts looks really good. I am glad that I went to Chicago and try the donuts. I love it. It is not too sweet and it tastes way better than the donuts that u buy from the donuts store here. I love Dunkin Donuts. I hope they open one in California. read more

The employees at this dunkin donuts are super quick with their service. The line can get really long at this location at certain times but they always keep the line moving. I go here for lunch almost everyday. The staff is friendly and they know my order by heart (ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant and sometmes an extra-large coffee). First time bad experience with Dunkin' Donuts located at 233 N Michigan. I ordered a coffee and hash browns and literally it took 20 mins to get both on my hand. there were only 2 customers before me and the customer who was next to got a different drink. He asked the employee to give money back. But the employee refused saying he is not a manager and gave him different drink. And that employee was not hygienic too. He was wiping the coffee spilled on the coffee mug using his apron. He didn't even wear his name batch and was struggling to use over and blender. Please do not leave this employee alone to handle customers. Over all very bad experience. read more

I was seriously wary of Dunkin' Donuts, and I used to laugh every time I heard their "maple breakfast sandwich" commercials on the radio. I mean seriously, how good could they be?! Admittedly, I can't speak to the maple breakfast sandwich (still too scared to try it), but I have been won over by this particular location for two reasons... one, it's in the Pedway, which makes it ever so convenient to get to on the walk to work. But second, and most importantly, the white hot chocolate. Oh my. Heaven in a cup. It's very sweet, so if you're not into that, don't bother. But seriously. For a $1.69 drink from a franchise donut shop? Pretty darn tasty. My boyfriend tells me the coffee is not bad, either. It's always crowded in the mornings, but the staff does a good job of getting through the line quickly. If I ever do actually try a donut there, and find them also to be good, I'll raise my rating to 5 stars. read more

This Dunkin Donuts is the best one to go to in Downtown! All the other Dunkin Donuts are dirty and the employees aren't well trained as this one. This DD location's (By red line pedway) staff is the worst. Incompetent, unapologetic, and could care less. There is always a couple of lines of people in the morning; one to place orders and another to wait to be called on for order pick up. But you would think with the number of orders they get they would learn to call out the receipt number.... but instead they call out 'coffee' or similar food order, and the result is a mad dash of hands from everyone claiming 'their' order. Which leaves people waiting the longest to wait even longer. To top it off, when you do finally get your order, it tends to be wrong. This morning was the last straw... I waited and waited and waited for a Med. Coffee with xtra cream & xtra sugar. I stood, waited and watched as they handed out iced coffees, latte's, espressos, etc to people who placed their order well after me, until i finally had to speak out about getting my coffee... The young lady asked me what I ordered, I told her, she handed me the coffee and I went on my way. I get to the office, I sip my coffee.... and it's not what I ordered. I look at my receipt to get their phone number to call and complaine, and of course no phone number is listed on the receipt. Ask me if I'm surprised. read more
