Stopped in for a late afternoon snack. The staff was kind when I was waiting several minutes for my daughter to join me before ordering. Late afternoon donuts obviously won't be as delectable as fresh ones, but they tasted good. I'd return, especially in the morning to try a fresh donut creation. The interior had several tables for guests to stay and relax if desired.

Excellent find on day 1 of our events in Chicago. Multiple locations so likely one near you if in ChiTown. Donuts were amazing including the teammates that needed gluten free. GF donuts were gluten passing. Huge selection. Chai was fantastic as well. Perfect blend of spice and sweetness. Also had a breakfast sandwich in day 3. Love they have protein breakfast options too.

Light fluffy donuts and great sweet caffeinated drinks! The cream in the filled donuts wasn't too sweet and we loved the croinut and strawberry Bismarck. The prickly pear lemonade and banana matcha were also crisp and refreshing.

Stopped in for breakfast. Donuts and coffee before a work meeting. The servers were efficient and the coffee was good. Donuts were super yummy!

    Needs attention!! Call maintenance.

Tasty but oh so pricey!! But we are grateful that these are available in limited choices in Heinen's grocery stores in Ohio!! The limited Gingerbread glutenless is sweet but oh so good!!! A standard stop for us each trip to Chicago. One thing they need to clean up the floors a bit. Hate to post a picture like this but a food establishment should be clean.

Came here on a Sunday and it was so nice. It's attached to northwestern hospital. We tried their strawberry matcha with soy milk and it was so good. Disappointed that the picture shows it was pink foam but when it came out you can barely see it but the taste was great. We also had their hash browns which tasted just like the dunkin donut one but this was just one big piece. It's small inside but can get pretty busy. They only have one kiosk to order from and only two workers there when we came around. Overall this is right downtown which is convenient to come by if it's raining or if you're just taking a stroll.

Stans donuts came up a handful of times in conversation as a must try place so I was excited to go. The donuts were pretty good. The donut with the cream in the regular shaped donut with the hole in the middle was my favorite! The cookie butter one was thiiiick! I tried a macha drink that was my favorite on a cold windy Chicago day!

After some reaving reviews, I was excited to try the donuts here. We waited in a decent line, and ordered 3 donuts. We proceeded to the cash register and my husband ordered the original combo. The cashier was dry and unpleasant. We wiped down our own table and took a seat. I began with my croissant donut. It had a nice custard inside that I wasn't expecting. It was good. My husband's Boston cream donut was smashed in the bottom of the bag and the paper took off most of the chocolate topping. The was barely any cream inside. He said he didn't particularly want to finish it. We were going to split the blueberry old fashioned donut but it was terrible. Dry and very artificial tasting. My husband's breakfast sandwich came out and was burned. The hashbrown was decent, a similar but more mild taste of Dunkin's. Because the blueberry donut was so terrible, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and hashbrown on the app. I took it back to my hotel to eat. After several bites, something tasted weird, or the texture was off. Upon a closer look, the croissant wasn't even cooked through. All around bad service, bad donuts, and breakfast sandwiches, with mediocre coffee.

I will never forget this croissant with sausage sandwich. 10/10

Please open in Los Angeles. I could stare at the donut case dreaming of each freshly baked item for days. I wanted a real breakfast and sugar and i got it all and more. I got a croissant sandwich and it was so fresh and so delicious. The croissant was flaky, warm and fresh. The eggs fluffy and the cheese melty. It felt made for me and not just eggs from a big batch. I was in heaven. I also got an apple fritter. I loved all the crunchy parts and the soft apple parts. It was very good as well. This was the cutest location too. The banquets here are so plush and comfy. I ate and then sat back and enjoyed the foodgasm still washing over me.

Stan underSTANds!!!! More than a doughnut shop with hot and cold drinks. Muffins/Cruffins many different flavor and even tiny ones that you can get/sample. Really good choice.

    Donuts

These donuts are really good and filling but you have to make sure you get the specialty donuts, I don't think it's worth just getting a regular glazed donut at this place.

Such good donuts! I don't think there is a bad one here. The gluten free donuts do not even taste like they are gluten free. The iced coffee with vanilla foam is delicious!

Review Visit: November 26th, 2018 I stand by these delicious donuts. As my sister and I drove closer to our destination in Chicago, we spotted Stan's and I made a mental note to check it out in the future. While I helped my sister with some family things, I found myself with about 90 minutes to kill. What did I do with that free time? Explored, of course. I pulled out my phone and found Stan's on my GPS. Once it pointed me in the right direction to walk, I booked it there. Upon entering, I noticed how packed the place was for lunch. Not worrying about that, I hopped in line and started to pour over the selection of baked yummies they had on display. Not only did they have donuts but they had bagels and things I wouldn't classify as either a bagel or donut. Being the ever-indecisive person that I am, I let a few people pass me in line as I couldn't decide what I wanted. Once I saw the Peanut Butter Pocket, I instantly knew that is what I wanted. Peanut butter is my weakness. I ended up ordering that and a medium house roast coffee. While I was waiting for my coffee, I quickly snagged the last free table. Whew, I was worried I would have to eat my donut while walking around Chicago. After settling in, I went to town on the donut. It didn't stand a chance against my hunger. While I didn't eat all of it, I did put down most of it frighteningly quick. The only thing that was quicker was how sticky my hands got. Luckily there were plenty of napkins nearby. As for the donut itself, I did taste it while I vacuumed it down. Haha! It was filled with peanut butter, as I expected. It was pretty good. Donuts aren't usually my thing but if it's a unique place like this, I will definitely make an exception. As the donut disappeared, I scoured the area on my phone for a place to grab lunch. Once I settled on a place, I quickly cleaned up the table and left since it was busy and I didn't want to hog a spot. What about the coffee? I actually didn't start drinking it until I got to Bombay Wraps. It was pipping hot and I used the cold walk to speed up the cooling down process. Once it cooled off, I was able to try it out. The coffee was on par for what you would expect for a house blend. It didn't blow my socks off but it also didn't disappoint either. It definitely warmed me up after the cold walk a few city blocks to my lunch destination. Chicago is a massive city. You could explore a new place every day and never run out of places to try. If you do undertake a massive quest like that, make sure you hit up Stan's near the start of it. If you happen to find yourself in town for a day like I was, definitely stop in if you are craving a donut.

The meal itself was great! I ordered their Ranchero Breakfast Burrito, which is a decent size and is relatively "healthier" for a breakfast burrito. It comes with eggs, a little cheese, poblano peppers, black beans, sweet corn, and quinoa. I loved the salsa that comes with the burrito and, while they didn't give me a choice for a side with breakfast, the pineapple covered in tajin was a great and unique twist! DAY 1: This "sniffs…read morein" at 4.5 stars... We sniffed in here multiple times during our 3-day visit. Some of the things we consumed: YUZU NITRO COLD BREW: -- my favorite coffee drink here of the trip -- yuzu works very well and is clearly present -- very visually appealing -- smooth and tasty and not too sour -- only orange or multiple citrus blend coffees may beat out this for me RATING = A WHISKEY BOURBON CAKE DONUT: -- lightly sweet w/gentle lean towards moderate -- up to moderate bourbon sniff and taste -- not oily or greasy -- soft interior almost layered -- leans moist, not dry -- size is small -- $5 plus is pricey but a rare find donut flavor RATING = A NOTE: I do miss their Sicilian cannoli from 2022, but I tried something else here as a substitute later in the trip PROSCIUTTO PROVOLONE CROISSANT: -- buttery -- not heated up -- medium sized -- soft flaky croissant flatter, not airy -- nice quality pastry -- lightly loaded inside but good balance of inserts to bread -- a good light snack to save belly for our Italiano dinner RATING = A- We snuck in at the last moment apparently as we were nearly cut off from lining up at the bar at 9:29pm. We ordered the "ESPRESSO MARTINI FLIGHT" for $25.00. CHERRY LIMONE (LEMON/CHERRY): -- very cherry forward -- partial slices of fresh lemon rind -- not too tart, tad bitter -- it works RATING = A- MOLE SPICE: -- tiny cacao bean shrapnel on top -- moderately plus spicy overpowers the chocolate -- okay but weakest of the bunch RATING = B+ ORANGE CACAO: -- cut slice of orange rind -- clear orange on sniff and taste -- my fave of the three -- all 3 had creamy heads to them RATING = A DAY 2: NITRO COLD BREW w/UBE COCONUT WHIP ADDED ON TOP: -- very pretty visually -- initially the slow sipping for nitro drinking worked and I got a balance of everything in my mouth but then I mostly just tasted coffee....so I stirred it up and agitated it to blend it better and it improved -- not an item I would order often -- 2" foamy head RATING = A- RASPBERRY MASCARPONE CHEESECAKE: -- semi-firm exterior -- big price around $11.00 plus -- medium-sized -- bone/ecru coloring -- 5 fresh raspberries on top with a slice of dark chocolate -- thin shortbread crust was fragile and not thick enough, but I love the shortbread vs. graham cracker idea -- texture is layered and dense -- it is not NYC style nor Chicago style w/mascarpone but closer to Chicago style than NYC -- very creamy -- I tend to prefer ricotta cheesecake or Chicago style, but this is nice and anything is better than firm heavy brick dense NYC style RATING = A- The wife grabbed a fresh bag of the "Chicago" beans that we sampled on day one. It was a smooth tasty cup. The seating is great here if you can get it. Weekends are "sold out" almost so pick your time carefully and cross your fingers.
