We stopped by this Dunkin' on our way back home, and we left wishing we had just waited a half hour more to go to our regular location. To start, the man who took our order was extremely passive, and when I asked what coffee and donut flavors they still had available, his response was delayed, mumbled, and he seemed annoyed. The line was also extremely slow, considering that there were only two other customers. When I pulled up to the window, three employees walked by and ignored me. It was three minutes before anyone told me my total and took my card. The Coolatta we ordered was 75% syrup. The workers didn't start making my latte until after I pulled up to the window and paid, and they got my order wrong. One of the biggest things that stuck out was the lack of gloves and face masks. In my opinion (as a food service worker), gloves should ALWAYS be worn while working with food. During a global pandemic, you would think that there would be emphasis on this! Frankly, I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. I will not be returning. read more

In Maine, you aren't always graced to be within walking distance of the latest hipster coffee shop (at least if you aren't living in Portland). Long day chasing a story for a magazine article I'm on deadline for. Needed coffee. I read that DD has a few vegan options. Being in Bucksport, I was happy this one had almond milk for my needed coffee and apparently, their hash browns are vegan-friendly. Staff just so-so in the realm of customer service, but hey: the free wi-fi and coffee worked for me on a cold afternoon. read more

If I could give this store a ZERO star review I would. The guy working on 8/20/23 at around 11 am was so extremely rude and disrespectful. He was very confrontational when we explained that they mixed up two separate orders we had and we were sill waiting on a drink. He said that we had everything even though we didn't, and when we showed him that on the receipt he doubled down and still tried to say we were wrong! He then made a comment under his breath that they should make a sign that says "don't grab things before they're ready" even though one of the workers handed us our refresher and said it was a part of our order! We also said that the screen above said our order numbers ready, but he got defensive and said "we don't control that so we don't know what's up there" as if we were supposed to know that! Never have I dealt with such a rude and unqualified person, this guy is so unprofessional and needs some serious customer service training. Or just a job where he doesn't interact with customers at all since he clearly doesn't know how to be nice and understanding... read more

The people at the window were not very welcoming, and the drinks were not up to Dunkin's usual standards. Also, the staff weren't wearing masks or gloves. Service was also very slow, they didn't start making our latte until we got to the window. read more

I was on my way out of the area after an event at Maine Maritime Academy when I stopped at this location for a vegan sandwich and a vegan coffee. The lady at the counter (Teresa) was just the portrait of customer service; she went above and beyond to ensure that no dairy or meat were on my sandwich and no dairy was in my coffee, and did all that with a wonderful attitude and a big smile on her face. Worst. Dunks. Experience. Ever. Hit the drive through, and we ordered a large ice coffee 2 sandwiches and an iced latte. We got an ice coffee with 4 skim milks in it, the latte and one sandwich. The driver pulled away before I could double check, the order, so we drove around and went back in. Had to wait forever...and then some. Miserable. read more

Went through the drive through today, hoping it'd be a quick experience. Boy was I wrong, The kid running the window had all he could do to get words out of his mouth, looked like he was high as a kite. Handed me two large straws, for 1 large drink and one medium drink...and when I asked for a smaller straw it took him 5 mins to register what I had even asked him. Called the manager and he told me "Come back and I'll remake your coffee" Well, since I am short on time (to the point where I used the drive through) I seriously DOUBT I have the time to drive all the way back for you to remake my coffee. How about you hire people who don't smoke their lunch and know what customer service is. Maybe then you wouldn't have to waste so much money remaking orders and training ignorant people. read more
