First time at a Tim Horton's so can't compare to other visits but was on par with DD. We tried several different donuts and coffees. I'm more of a Starbucks fan- sorry! But props to them - I drove to 2 other locations first that were closed due to insufficient staff signs.

Nice, new Tim Horton's with a friendly staff.

I saw this Tim Horton's on approach to Bangor Airport. I landed at midnight and was relieved to find this location open 24hrs. A life saver for a hungry and thirsty traveler. The staff were friendly but they did mess up my order. I returned a day later for breakfast and everything was fine. This Tim Horton's is a welcome, clean, and familiar chain to the non-adventurous.

Rare is the time you'll walk into a Timmy's as see the owner as the lead cashier, but at this Bangor location is seems common. The owner took the lead as a cashier, and in our case, at least, made the process seamless. I'm an American (a Californian to be exact) and have visited probably 50 Timmy's in Canada through vacation and work. This US spot doesn't have steam tea, which is a staple in Canada, but does have brewed ice tea and sweet tea, which you won't find in Canada. The service here was wonderful, location was clean and of course, the price was refreshing compared to the overpriced stuff you'd get at Starbucks. When faced with a decision to come here on DD's, I always choose Timmy's. They make their donuts and bagels on the spot and it shows, as it did at this location.

Turkey club, chili, coffee mocha and dessert!

I had the best attendants tonight (Paige and another young lady) -- long flight day, snow in Canada blocking my further travels. I just wanted a good meal and a place to sit with wi-fi. Found it this evening. The Turkey Club was the best - crisp bacon, fresh turkey and bread. The mushrooms in the chili not something I'd recommend. Replace with more chilies and you'll have the perfect recipe. Coffe Mocha pretty darn hot so that'll wash everything down, including the Timbits and Boston Creme.

Decent coffee and bagel. I would go out of my way but I would stop there while driving by.

Stopped by The Grind House on my way through from Bar Harbor to Boston Logan International…read more I was excited to see an impossible breakfast sandwich on the menu as well as a peanut butter mocha. Seriously, two of my favorite things to see on a coffee house menu. That said the execution was a bit off for me. The Impossible breakfast sandwich was served on an insubstantial bun (the type that is more air than anything) and was overall pretty basic. Their signature sauce mentioned in several dishes, seems to be thousand island or maybe tartar sauce? Either way, it wasn't my favorite. The peanut butter mocha was also a bit of a miss for me. I wasn't a fan of either their chocolate or their espresso (or the peanut butter flavor they used, for that matter). The shop itself is quirky and comfortable. We were able to get a spot by the windows, which was nice and the service was lovely. It would definitely be a good and comfortable spot for working and it could be that had I ordered differently, it may have been more my cup of tea (or coffee, as they case may be). But for what I ordered, it was a bit of a swing and a miss.

Walked in and wow, lots to read on the menu! Which can be good and bad depending on how much time…read moreyou want to spend reading menus. I chose a egg and cheese on a croissant bun and a caramel turtle latte. I came here because it had been highly recommended, but I have to say, I expected more, but depends on what you like, right?? Plenty of seating, centrally located in the city, easy parking, and plenty of coffee concoctions to try out. My coffee was missing the whipped cream, but oh well. The froth for the latte was odd, it deflated super quickly, not sure what happened there. And the sweetness was sweet, but it was missing that caramel turtle flavor I thought I was going to get. For me, this was meh. I expected something more decadent. My egg sandwich was good. Basic. Not a real croissant either. It was a croissant bun of some sort. It seemed, well, basic, or economical. But it was filling and the egg was good. I also have to say that when I departed, I smelled like a convenience store that sells those hotdogs on rollers... I smelled all day, I had to wash my hair to get the smell out. I also have to mention the heavy music that was playing. It was obscene and it was loud. So loud it made it challenging to order and I did eat my meal quickly and leave. It was a Tuesday morning around 9 am. But hey I am getting older so this may not have been a good choice for me.
