It's really hit or miss here. Deepa and Christian are great - really great. They are both always fast and very friendly. Some of the other employees are good as well but there are a few that seem like they would rather be anywhere else - which I guess is understandable. It's pretty clean in here, since it's relatively new.

Only 7 seats to actually sit in but they have some bar areas to stand at. 1/2 the tables are dirty from other people but there is only one worker. The lights went off and I was sitting in the dark for a minute before anything happened. Isn't that busy but busy enough for a second worker. Music is typical radio music ( biebs is killing it right now). The service was friendly but my bagel wasn't toasted enough like it is at the other dunkins. The hot chocolate tastes just like every other place and I'm happy with it. Didn't have a lot of donuts for choice but I came later in the day so it's excepted. This is an okay place to meet with one other friend or wait on people. Isn't good for groups.

I've had donuts before, and apple cider, and apple donuts - how different could this donut really be. I tried the ones from Trader Joe's and enjoyed them but nothing specials. I will admit I was wrong and unprepared for the magic of these donuts! A hot apple cider donut is so much better than anyone lead on and I'm glad my first experience was from Red Apple Farms! The donut was packed with all the warm spice flavors, the texture with the sugar added to a perfect bite, the warm temperature made them melt in your mouth, and its was just a flawless expirence! During my trip we made a few stops at Res Apple because I couldn't get enough! The Apple cider is of course amazing too, but if you have to pick one thing always get the donuts!

We were on vacation so we said why not, lets try it. Best decision made. The slush is SO REFRESHING. It is not too sweet at all. It doesn't have the strong vinegar taste either. Its like drinking apple sauce but michelin apple sauce.. If you're looking for a quick dessert that's not overly sweet this is perfect. Its not heavy at all so after a big meal its good. I forget what the price was but it wasn't over priced at all.

I love the fact that the cannolis are made to order leaving you with a crispy shell everybody. They even offer many cannolis for those like myself who don't have a large sweet tooth. The filling people might find on the Tad sweeter side in which I would recommend the pistachio or almond topping if not, go traditional with the chocolate chip. The location is adorable with a variety of pastry options, notably, the moon cookie! The service was great and attentive, and if you get the chance I would recommend sitting and enjoying a nice coffee or tea versus waiting in the line. In comparison to Boa's, it was very close for our party, but the fresh shell put it on top. I will state that Boba's cream filling was more of my style with the less of the sweet kick. Either way you can't go wrong either location, but the additional pastries offered at modern along with the sitdown option was also another touch. Don't be timid by the line it moves rapid and it's well worth it!

I loved both cannolis but they are different. Moderns is more traditional and Mikes is sweeter. So who comes out on top it's for you to decide. I would say it was nice to be able to sit in the shop and enjoy the snack and will also say this is a must stop when visiting Boston. Then decide on your own which is better.
