What a cute spot a super friendly staff…read more I found this place on the Too Good To Go app and was pleasantly surprised with how much donuts I got for half the price. They were delicious and I'll be marking this spot as a top donut contender for 2026.

While this place is relatively small (as one would expect a hole-in-the-wall donut shop to be), they've made impressive use of the space, as there's plenty of tables and chairs to sit at (even a couple on the outside of the establishment, for warmer temperature seasons than presently, aha). It was clean and modern. The employee working behind the counter was friendly and matched my enthusiastic energy, which was appreciated. There didn't seem to be a huge selection of donut varieties available (though I was also there after 11am, which might have something to do with that... this place is open until noon or until they run out of product, whichever comes first), but plenty enough to give me difficulty choosing which to get! All the donuts/baked goods seemed to be priced at $2.50 each. Not an outrageous sum, though more than I'd like... I fear the days of the $1 donut are nothing but a distant memory nowadays. Anyway, I grabbed two donuts and went on my merry way home. The employee put them in a nice wax paper coated baggie. The flavor of the donuts was good. Not addictively incredible, but yummy. There's a decent chance I'll be stopping by in the future simply because this place is along a route I typically take for running errands, and my sweet tooth may compel me to "reward" myself for running said errands, hehe!

Today I spent over $10 and got a 24 pack of their water for $1.99 valid memorial weekend only. They bag your groceries and put rubber bands around eggs and raspberries. There is a drive thru to pick up your groceries. Lunds Byerlys are kinda upscale. This grocery store had a recent remodel but it still is not as fancy as Plymouth and other locations. I guess you pay extra having a grocery store so close by.

The holiday menus are always a good bet for the cost and the lunch bar choices make for a nice alternative to fast food in the Twin Cities. On my last grocery run, I was lucky enough to find gluten-free vanilla extract for some sweet baked goods, a great selection of Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc wines, and several varieties of dilled crudités (in jars in kosher/ condiment aisles) to lay out with cheeses for a small soirée I threw together. All I needed to add was the Gavin DeGraw music and the palettes were contented that afternoon :) Cheers to Byerly's!

Indeed, there's a lively and popular chain called Kumar Mess in Madurai; maybe related. I've tried at least two of their locations around Madurai. I find the food at the Apple Valley location mostly good, especially if served right out of the kitchen. I'm generally un-thrilled with buffets anywhere and haven't tried the Kumar's version. I could be wrong, but running a good buffet takes more effort and planning than the apparently very small staff at Kumar's can probably manage, so I order from the menu. I find the Chettinad chicken curry very good; hence my rating. My companions always like the various dosa and uthappam dishes and the samosa and pakora appetizers. I like vada (served as an appetizer) if it's fresh and not dried out; that varies at every Indian restaurant I've tried. Service is friendly but sometimes agonizingly slow, as I usually see just one server on duty, even in busy-ish evenings.

We've enjoyed this restaurant in the past, which is why this most recent experience was so…read moredisappointing. It feels like the focus has shifted much more toward the buffet, and the takeout experience has suffered as a result. The online ordering process was confusing because the only pickup times available were 4 PM or 6 PM. We would've loved to eat at 5 PM, as that's usually when we get takeout orders when we eat out. We chose the 4 PM slot, but when I arrived 5 minutes early...the order was already sitting out waiting. That immediately raised concerns about how long it had been sitting there. When I got home, some of the food was much cooler than expected for freshly prepared takeout, which only added to those concerns. I ended up needing to reheat several items as I was afraid from a food safety perspective. The pickup experience itself was also awkward. I stood waiting at the front for about 30 seconds while employees were nearby, but nobody acknowledged me. Eventually someone yelled "hello" from literally across the restaurant. After I responded and said I was there for a pickup order, there was very little communication. They looked at me confused. The employee then walked away and eventually returned with my order. The interaction felt confusing and unwelcoming. I was also disappointed by the portion sizes, especially considering current menu prices. On top of that, there is an additional service fee for online orders, which makes the value feel even worse. Overall, this visit left us feeling like the restaurant isn't prioritizing its takeout customers the way it used to. Between the confusing pickup process, concerns about how long the food sat before pickup, smaller portions, and added fees, were hesitant to order takeout here again. It's sad, because if you look at my previous reviews of this place, I use to enjoy it.

All the Malaysian dishes that we ordered were flavorful and authentic. They also served complimentary fruit at the end of the meal which was a pleasant surprise. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The sesame chicken was amazing, easily the standout, and the chicken quality across all dishes was excellent with generous portions. The Singapore chow fun was delicious and packed with flavor, and the extra protein/veggies was well worth it. The staff was incredibly friendly and even mentioned that if there were any issues with the order, I could call back and they'd make it right. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Online ordering was easy and seamless. The inside is small with only a few tables, but they clearly do takeout very well. Quick service, great food, and genuinely kind staff. We'll definitely be ordering again.
