This donut shop is cute and quant so you might just miss it if you're driving past, like I have in the past year - not anymore! I stopped in to pick up a dozen donuts for my team at work, they had a variety of selections including regular, specialty, and mochi donuts. They all looked so delicious and were beautifully displayed. I ordered a regular dozen but their breakfast sandwiches caught my eye. I chose to order a ham egg and cheese on a croissant and OMG I fell in love! It was very clear the sandwich was made fresh to order - never frozen. The cheese was gooey and warm and the croissant was flakey on the outside soft on the inside. The sandwich itself cost $5 and some change. So much cheaper than the frozen sandwiches you get at a Starbucks or Caribou and it was 10x more delicious! Another thing to mention is how wonderful the women behind the counter are. They were so helpful and very sweet while my coworker and I were ordering. They gave fantastic service with a smile and were very friendly. Service like this is what drives me to come back time and time again. This will definitely be my new stop for breakfast in the morning! read more

If you are a sweet tooth looking for donuts, this is the place to be! The service was great and the staff was very friendly. Holy sweet tooth, what a great find in Shakopee! GPS took me off course but a quick phone call turned me around and we arrived, thanks to their directions! My twin granddaughters loooove donuts and so we arrived this morning and I let them go wild selecting donuts for themselves, Mom & Dad, and big brother, ending up with a dozen huge and specialty donuts for $23. The maple bacon is my favorite! They offer a free cup of coffee with any purchase, too. I'd love to come back for breakfast sandwiches. Don't judge a book by its cover. The more mature appearance of this place doesn't exactly do it any favors. But when you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome and smile. They have your classic collection of donuts represented plus a couple of bonus donuts that I always tend to gravitate towards. Those bonus donuts include red velvet and what I chose fruity pebbles. Just don't expect anything crazy classic is their motivation. They have some water and soda options and a gas station-like coffee machine. Man, I wish they had freshly made coffee to some extent. This was a disappointment with the few stale bites until it turned bird food which I'm sure they might have enjoyed. We ordered some donuts all of which were dry and you can tell they've been sitting for at least a day as the fruity pebbles one the icing was falling off in chunks so you can tell it was old after the first horrible bite. The honey glazed one was just as bad as it tasted very stale and just not very good so I gave it too the birds. Either way these were some pretty bad donuts all around with nothing to show for them I wouldn't recommend coming here to anyone! read more

I have been meaning to come here for so long and I finally got to and boy it was worth the wait! I had the Coconut, Chocolate Angel, and bear paw donut for my weekend treats. Of all three though the Chocolate Angel was my favorite. The two customers in front of me picked this one and I knew I had to as well! The buttercream between the two donut layers is so light and fluffy and the donut itself was a perfect vehicle to hold the cream. The top had a yummy graham cracker topping to it as well. 10/10. Sure it's a hole in the wall, but the classic donuts are FANTASTIC! I've been eating donuts from here for about 5 years due to my generous coworkers that live closer by. Recently I've made the trip to visit myself on 3 occasions. They aren't doing the most trendy hipster donuts here, but they NAIL the classics. The texture, fluff, taste, moistness, and butteryness are all spot on. The most amazing part is the very reasonable prices. You can get in under $7 for a dozen! The specialties will double the price, but I actually prefer all of the classics here. Now keep in mind the location is very old. It's actually a former "Mister Donut" which Dunkin' purchased years ago. Some of the signage for MD is still around. They haven't tried to update anything, but who cares when the donuts are this good? If you are afraid of the interior, there is also a drive through option. This place looks like a dump! It is filthy disgusting! I am surprised they are still in business without being up to code... There is dirt caked on the ceilings and layers of dust anywhere that is visible. The floor is so greasy I almost slipped on my way to the restroom! Oh and don't get me started on the restroom!! The equipment and pretty much everything I set my eyes on looks to be unsanitary! If the front of the house looks this bad, I hate to imagine the state of the back shop and to imagine they are preparing food in such an environment...
