Great local brewery right in the heart of Dunedin. Definitely a Scottish vibe here, don't be surprised if the bagpipers make an appearance, but the also have live music here quite often. A wide variety of beers, wish they carried a couple more IPAs (generally one IPa and one APA on tap) on the regular. Nice little brewery in Dunedin FL. They have a great selection of styles- I had the Orange IPA and my friends had the Peach beer. I guess we are a little fruity. This was my first time at this brewery. They have a great outdoor space and the inside atmosphere is very inviting. Two of us tried flights. There was no one beer that I fell in love with, but most were OK. We were told that the Apricot Peach Ale was what they were known for, but that was our least favorite/something I would not order again. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back to try more beer options and the food. read more

In and around town for preseason baseball reasons. We heard Dunedin brewery is the oldest in Fla! Let's check it out! Easy walk from public parking areas. It was relatively quiet as it was mid March and the middle of the afternoon. Quickly greeted by a bartender. Two flights please! I don't recall the beers we sampled (sorry). They had a limited food menu but bartender assured us the food is great! It looked good as the kitchen is viewable. We decided to sit outside. There is a lot of space in and outside. Funky cool vibe! I was in the area and wanted to stop by Dunedin Brewery as I hadn't been in a while. I was there no longer than 10 minutes and left. The men's room was inoperable because a guy was in there with a plumbing snake. I'm assuming there were drainage issues??? I asked a bartender (pictured) if there was another rest room; he told me there wasn't. I then sat down at the bar with the full intention of eating and drinking my fill. I was never waited on. After about 5 minutes of sitting there, a group of young ladies walked in and were IMMEDIATELY greeted and served. My man even had recommendations and offered samples and everything to them. It looks like they got great service. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting to even be acknowledged. He literally had to keep walking past me in order to serve the ladies that walked in. I'm sitting at a nearly empty bar and no one is acknowledging me. Either they don't like men...or black men. Maybe they didn't think I had money? Idk. I do know that I won't be back and if you're reading this and look like me, I highly recommend you don't go there, either. read more

First off let me say we had Lori as our server and she was FANTASTIC. It has truly been so long since we've had great service and great food wrapped into one visit. We started with a flight and all of the beers were good. I wasn't really fond of the fall beer they have on tap but the rest were pretty good. We had the pretzel bites and beer cheese for an appetizer and they came out fresh and hot. Also, they were delicious! For our meals we had the brisket mac and cheese burrito and beer battered fried chicken with mustard. The burrito was a good mix of brisket and Mac and cheese although the noodles were a little over done. Would I order it and eat it again, absolutely. The fries are best straight out of the frier so eat them first. The fried chicken was cooked and seasoned well and came out hot and fresh. The mustard is made in house and a nice compliment to the chicken. All in all it was a good meal with good beer and great service. If I could give them 4.5 stars I would but since I can't I'm going with 4 stars. read more

Never been to Dunedin. Since I've been a home brewer for 30 years i like to try breweries when I'm out of town. We came here I ordered a beer and our food. Unfortunately for us they had comedy show. The guys wasn't even close to being funny. We walked outside. They brought us our food. The pork sandwich was very good so was the fries. While we were outside the comedians (I'm being nice calling them comedians) they were loud and vulgar. Instead of ordering another beer we just left. The one beer i had was good, the food was good. The smash burger was pretty much as you would expect, I would have enjoyed it a bit more crispy, but a solid food nonetheless. The service was quite lacking with several servers looking at us and not approaching, and then when we finally did have one it was a long time between check ins. We didn't go inside this visit, but the outside is just open seating with a band in the "garage" area, again, just an unremarkable visit. Oh, the wheat beer was solid. Worth a try again. read more

Dunedin is the best place in the Tampa Bay Area to brewery hop. So many great breweries - especially this one! The staff was friendly and accommodating and we were served our fried pickles (honestly the best I've ever had - I didn't even get a picture we ate them so fast). We also did a flight which comes with 4 4oz samples or so for around $12. The beer was very good. I'm definitely coming back to have a meal. Make sure to ask for a brewery passport too! Imma start off with the bad. I do find their beer a bit pricey for what it is. It is certainly not out of range. Worth drinking for sure. They do make a very good variety of beer. There is always something new. They also have a certain beer on special. I'm an IPA only person which is never on special though. If you're willing to try something new, go for the special. They have fabulous food. It is the only brewery in Dunedin that has its own full kitchen. Other places have food, but it is likely a food truck (not speaking badly of that...just props to this place for managing food and brew). The culture though is amazing. Everyone (staff/customers) make you feel so welcome. This was my first true stop in Dunedin when I became a local, and I have made many friends because of this place. I do love Dunedin Brewery. The extra $1/pint is totally worth supporting Florida's oldest craft brewery. And save room for food! read more

I visited Dunedin Brewery for a private party in a private room near the door. I never knew this room existed but it is the perfect spot for a party. There was a band that went on around 9:00 in the main bar area, we could hear them but could not see them from the private room. The staff/bartenders were fantastic! They kept our drinks full and kept them coming! The food was also great, they did catering size portions of hummus and pita, wings and pulled pork sandwiches. The wings were awesome! The beer was really good too, I started with a wheat but tried someone's brown ale and was sold on it all night. "Cluck Yeah" these wings are the BEST in the Bay! I ordered 10 and they were almost more than I could eat. I did say ALMOST. You can get wings anywhere, but for these wings you make the drive from near or far! Dunedin is loaded with Breweries but this one checks all the boxes! It's got indoor AND outdoor seating, live music, bar seating, front row view of the brewing in action, a solid menu, loads of craft beer and seasonal events. The staff is very helpful and passionate about their products. It's kid friendly but let's be honest, wouldn't you rather leave them at home? I suggest the Lime in the Sand. It's a tart IPA and definitely put me down for a nap afterward. Or...maybe it was the giant load of wings. If you're going to do a pub crawl in the area, make sure Dunedin Brewery is on your list. Came here for lunch and enjoyed very good German inspired hefeweizens. The bratwurst lunch was just OK, it is locally sourced but seemed like it was missing something. I love Breweries. I've been to this one many times and never left a review. Shame on me! My wife and I ride our bicycles to Dunedin and do mini brewery tours every now and then. This one is usually one of the stops. Especially if you want to eat. The food here is really good and the beer is even better. On the last trip here we had the Nachos. They came out looking awesome and they tasted even better than they looked. They have indoor seating as well as a huge patio with plenty of picnic tables. Servers work the patio and bring you everything you need. This place also has live music on the weekends. Its a fantastic spot to have a few delicious beers, listen to a good live band, and drink some great beer. What more can you ask for? read more
