Always a great time at Rosie's!!! The popcorn is the very best EVER! They have other munchies available too that are great. The bartenders... AMAZING! Those guys are always on their game. Always greeted with a friendly smile and hello with a prompt service of your drink of choice. These guys are so good that they can recall most every person's favorite drink! Now that is awesome. The place is always clean even when a bit of popcorn is dropped from customers, it is not long before it is cleaned up. The tables are cleaned regularly and the staff picks up empties all the time and ready to provide you with a refill. Don't forget to look for the "Dog-Pig" it is a thing, and you may end up with a free drink when you find it. The outside has tables ready for you on those great days and evenings you want to sit outside. Most every weekend, they have live entertainment outside (when the weather permits). Rosie's is truly a gem and a great place to go. Everyone loves Rosie's in Dunedin. I highly recommend this place. There are no such things as strangers, just friends that have not met yet! read more

I've only been once, it was a Monday night - it was not as quiet as I'd expect! I'm not sure I'd call it a dive as some do... I sat right up at the bar with a couple friends... service was friendly. Full of life, full of fun, Charlie the bartender is one of the best ever! There's a popcorn machine, there's all kinds of wall decor, drinks are good!! And priced great. People were friendly inside. Excellent location in Dunedin... I'll need to return to get some of the live music scene in me. read more

Great small-town dive bar. every town needs one and Rosie's fits the bill. Nothing fancy and don't be surprised if you feel like Norm from cheers will come to take the barstool next to you. What can you say about a cold beer? It's wet it's cold and Rosie's is reasonably priced. The free popcorn was a nice perk and although we didn't find the cow pig which gets you a free beer. We did spend way more time than we should have searching for that darn thing. read more

I really enjoyed this spot! There are pictures of local dogs on the ways & really adds a cool feature to the bar. The prices for bar snacks in very affordable. There were bags of popcorn waiting when I went inside & that was an added plus! I enjoyed popcorn & a local IPA on draft. Good prices for the beers & a lot of the beers are local. I enjoy Rosie's especially when they have live music outside. They have a selection of beers that include your regular domestic, a few craft beers as well as a few imports. A few of the taps rotate which keeps things interesting. They offer free popcorn and a chance to find a hidden pig for a free beer. I've yet to find it! The only downside is this bar is in a town with a ton of breweries. That being said the beers at the breweries are cheaper than at this bar. Every time I check in here yelp shows they have a check in offer for 50% off one beer....but the fine print says it expired at some point in 2018. This is frustrating and should be removed unless they plan on honoring it....which they didn't do today. read more

5 stars for the atmosphere, quality, service, venue, prices- First thing's first - at the time of this review there is a Yelp check-in offer for 1/2 off a draft beer or house wine. Ok, now that I mentioned that let's get to the review. The venue is very open-air and the bartender/owner was super nice and helpful. It was fairly crowded on a Sunday afternoon but it was beautiful outside so there were a lot of people in downtown Dunedin, anyway. We found a couple of spots at the bar and after another couple next to us recommended the Kentucky Bourbon Ale I decided to try it. Wow was it good! I think it's about 8% too which, is actually sCaRy since the brew is so tasty. I also tried their fish spread which is locally made and realllly delicious! It's mostly fish and a lot less mayonnaise than your typical smoked fish spread. Overall, I highly recommend this place as I've been to quite a few places in downtown Dunedin and so far this place is at the top of my list. read more

This is a delightful place to bring your dog and have a beverage outside, while listening to live music. The patio was filled with patrons and their friendly dogs. Inside the service was great, they have very limited food options, so don't go in hungry. The establishment had a nice charm to it even though they only sold beer and wine. A gentleman, I assumed was the owner pushed a pop corn maker stand around and gave all patrons that wanted it a free basket of pop corn. We had a discussion with this man and teased him about what he would do if someone didn't pay their tab. He had some quick and witty responses. This is a nice relaxing place to stop and have a beer or glass of wine. The establishment and staff were terrific. What's a girl to do? You go to Dunedion, your event gets cancelled, so you roam Main Street checking out all the local establishments. read more

Small bar with a huge outdoor seating area. No liquor and not a whole lot of beer options either, but what they lack in size and stock, they make up for in attitude. They are now doing table service, and I don't recall our servers name, but he was a freaking service hero. Tall, skinny guy with a red beard. He knew all the ginger jokes and he was spitting 'em out in rapid fire succession too. It was great! We threw back a few beers and chomped down on some free popcorn for about an hour, and them moved on to another bar down the strip. I really liked the vibe and look forward to heading back soon. This place is absolutely dog friendly. On one of the walls there are pictures of what looks to be at least 20 different dogs. There was even a dog with his owner sitting at a table. I am not the type that thinks that bringing a dog to a bar is a great idea, so this weirded me out a little. They have a good selection of beer and the bartender was very helpful. He let my friend and I try a couple different beers before choosing. I ended up choosing sangria, because I wasn't in a beer mood. I would not suggest choosing the sangria. It was from a pre made bottle that you can buy from Publix. Definitely not worth the $6. However, being this is mainly a beer place, I can't fault them too much for this. I saw a popcorn maker and I am assuming they have free popcorn. That was a neat touch. This is a pretty small bar and it was filled with what I assume were locals. It was a Thursday night around 9 p.m. and was pretty busy. I honestly can't see myself going back, but to each her own. read more

They had a fundraising event for the Dunedin Pipe Bands. We were a bit late arriving as we ran into a band downtown the street at the Irish place. So, the band was done by the time we got there. But, we sat on the patio and enjoyed a beer. The inside is clean and no odd smells. It is probably the nicest bar in town when it comes to having class. I can't imagine anyone would go here and not like it. Service is always exceptional. Prices are average/fair. We will continue to stop in as it is our kind of place. I've lived in Dunedin for 5 years and i finally stopped here Mardi Gras night! I met my friends here after celebration and it was chill time for a nitecap! Popcorn is available but no food is served. You can order pizza from Tony's around the corner and bring it in! There are an adequate amount of taps which feature most of our local craft beers and some excellent imports! I can back on a Wednesday night where they host an open mic in the courtyard! Great music in a great environment! We stopped by here on our way home to St. Pete after a day at the beach. We had our Aussie in tow and saw that this place was very pet friendly. Located in downtown Dunedin this is a really cute spot. Kind of small, but laid out nicely and there's also some outside tables. Nice decor and great staff. We were welcomed instantly and service was fast. Great selection of beers. There's also a nice wine list. Decent prices. Free popcorn! Rosie's is one of my favorite stops in Dunedin. It's a very comfortable, friendly pub with an outstanding beer selection. They also offer wine, lambic, mead, and other specialties for non-beer drinkers, but they do not offer liquor. Local brews are regularly offered including Florida Ave, and Dunedin Brewery. One of my favorite features of Rosie's is the wall of framed photos of all the dogs of the patrons and owners. Rosie the beagle herself is featured on the wall. This is a dog-friendly pub with some outside seating. They do offer some light snacks such as chips and salsa, and you can help yourself to free popcorn too. There is a large TV behind the bar too. Rosie's has a very cozy neighborhood atmosphere. The customers tend to be more adult to middle aged rather than the young "hipster" crowd or the senior citizens. There are lots of great places in Dunedin, but Rosie's is not be missed. read more

Cool place with a good vibe. It's not huge but they have a nice patio and the employees are all friendly and accommodating. Decent selection of beer and wine (no hard alcohol). I tried a chocolate peanut butter brown ale from a local brewery that was pretty darn good. A drink and dessert all in one is always a fun time. The live music was very good and added to the atmosphere. And the free popcorn was a win. There's only one bathroom and there was a bit of a wait to get into it so plan accordingly. Seemed like it attracted a diverse crowd of people that just wanna have a chill night drinking a few drinks and socializing. Despite having spent many Friday nights in downtown dunedin, last night was my first time here at Rosie's. We have a really enjoyable experience. My boyfriend and I met up with a few friends of ours and shared a bottle of cabernet sauvignon on the patio. There was a very talented live singer who performed some great songs. He really added to the atmosphere in a positive way. Inside, the ambience is small and dark yet inviting. They only serve beer and wine here, but that wasn't an issue as they did have a wide variety of both. I really enjoyed our evening here and would definitely come back again. read more

I'm a big fan of Rosie's. It's got a variety of taps, a good Irish bar feel inside with tall ceilings where flags drape down. The courtyard between other restaurant and bars is a low key place to listen to music on the weekends. It's a popular place but there is a lot of parking reserved for the building, and it's easy to get to on foot. read more

Clean establishment with a large selection of drinks. I really enjoyed the style of this bar. It totally has the tavern look and feel. The only thing that I was a little put off by was the face that it's not that large. The outdoor patio was a bit larger than the seating inside. I've come to learn, in Florida, no one cares about large out door patios. And I really wish they would have utilized as much indoor space as possible and maybe extend the building to include the patio. It was so hot outside I almost left but managed to wedge myself in between a few people at the bar. I did notice when we were leaving a live band was setting up. Or a singer with a guitar. So I do enjoy the band being outside instead of blaring the customers ears out inside. I would be willing to stop by again for sure! read more
