Today our adventures led us to Dunedin. Our first stop was Soggy Bottom. Just in case you are wondering the soggy bottom boys were not playing today. They must've been on vacation. But that did not stop us from enjoying some tasty brew and a few rounds on the pool table. No food but they do have a few Ciders and wine choices for the non brew ha ha's. Highly recommend if you are ever in the area looking for a watering hole stop on by. Enjoy and cheers!

We didn't eat because we came for a beer. Nice beer selection. A cool bar area with comfortable tractor seats with keg for the base and license plates from different states on the back of the chair. Pool table and TV and games. Wonderful and friendly service. Brewery ambiance beer production in background.

Cool atmosphere, nice outside seating area. Dive bar vibes inside. Dart board, pool table. We tried 3 IPAs plus an imperial IPA to go in cans and sadly, we liked none of them. Flat flavor profile. Friendly bartender though.

Funny name, seriously owned by a chick! Ben thinks I just like certain breweries because they are owned by women, which isn't 100% true because if they didn't have good product, it really wouldn't matter who owns it. They have a pretty large selection of beer here, between what Soggy Bottom actually brews themselves and then guest taps. Of course, when at a brewery, we go for their beer and not guest taps. We have always had a great experience here with the beertenders as they are fun and playful, joking around with us. We have had different beertenders and they have all been like that, which is great! On our first flight we had Two Face, Strawberry Sweet Tart, Maple Blueberry Scotch Ale and Hint A Mint.

I beat my hubby in pool - schooled him hard

We had a lovely time finding this brewery spot in Dunedin! Super chill and friendly atmosphere, good beer selection, nice staff, and plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Hubby got an IPA and another beer I can't remember the name of at this moment. I schooled him in pool, so that was a major highlight. We will definitely be going here again! Atmosphere: 5/5 Staff: 5/5 Selection: 5/5 Quality: 5/5 Overall: 5/5

Awesome atmosphere and tasty brews! Highly recommend the Toasted Coconut Porter and the bartender is on point!!!

Really great beer with a fun, laid back vibe. The bartenders are fantastic with sharing beer recommendations as well as other places to check out in Dunedin. They only serve small pizza's there but there's a really good bbq place right next door. This is a must visit anytime we visit the area. Cheers!

Soggy Bottom Brewing is off Main Street in Dunedin, next to Southern BBQ & Clear Sky Draught House. I thought Soggy Bottom Brewing was new because I haven't been yet but it's been around for 3 years now! Somehow this one flew under my radar and I missed it! Its hard to keep up with all the new breweries opening in Dunedin! Dunedin is the Brewery mecca of Tampa Bay, with 8 breweries all within stumbling distance from another: Caledonia, Woodright, Cueni, HOB, Dunedin Brewery, Dunedin House of Beer, 7venth Sun, and Soggy Bottom Brewing. Soggy Bottom Brewing serves 11 beers on draft made by the brewery, 8 brews from local breweries, and 4 types of wine. I got a flight of brews which included the Peach Fuzz IPA 7%, Pumpkin Slaughter Ale 5.5%, Victory Golden Monkey Tripel Ale at a whopping 9.5%, HOB Mango Hefe 5.5%. I also tried the blood orange sweet tart sour and raspberry Berlin sour. My favorite was the Peach Fuzz followed by the Victory Golden Monkey. The blood orange is the most popular with the ladies. Soggy Bottom Brewing has a pool table, large patio, good music playing, checkers, darts, Pinball, tvs with the game on, and lots of board games to keep you entertained. The bartender was very friendly and helpful with helping us pick out drinks. Look forward to coming back soon to try more!

As microbreweries go, this is one of the friendliest places to go. I make it to Dunedin once or twice a year and Soggy Bottom Brewing is always a must stop for my wife and I. Their passion and pride comes through when they describe their beers or how they discovered a new brew. Their passion, their love and respect for beer and their customers is prevalent. So, don't miss an opportunity to try Soggy Bottom Brewing!

Where it all began…read more... For a long time, my wife and I have visited 7venth Sun on our numerous trips to the Tampa Bay area... and while we have always stayed in the St. Pete or Tampa downtown areas, we have always felt the drive up to Dunedin was well worth the drive (even if it was about about 45 minutes out of the way). And we loved the beer.... there was something special that other breweries just didn't have. Maybe it was the atmosphere... maybe the always welcoming staff... maybe the small but intimate venue... or perhaps the patrons (always friendly). And then something changed... they opened their Seminole Heights location. For a window of time, it was closer and easier to visit the newer location. I liked this location but it wasn't the same as the Dunedin location. Less social since it was so spread out; I missed being at tables that we shared and bumping shoulders to the point that we sparked conversations with strangers (part of the beer experience; like a first date on every visit). Now that Seminole Heights in closed (which I am sorry to hear), I am excited that we finally we forced to drive back to this original location... didn't mind the drive and absolutely loved the beer, the vibe, the people; all of it.

We sat outside at the bar and really enjoyed chatting with the bartenders--Dillon and Clyde were fantastic. They made great recommendations and were very attentive. The tiki drinks were fantastic--great flavor, strong, and not overly sweet. I stepped inside to check out the decor, and while it's a small space, it's packed with tiki details. They also had some really cool exclusive merchandise--we ended up buying the Honu tiki mug

On the positive side, parking was readily available, and the hostess team was very polite and gracious. He kindly sat us inside to escape the heat, and we really enjoyed the cool atmosphere and Hawaii-inspired decor. However, we encountered several issues during our visit: - The Table: We were seated at a very wobbly table and had to use napkins to stabilize it ourselves. - The Service: Our waitress was quite slow. Additionally, when explaining the drink options, she explicitly advised us against ordering the Navy Grog on the list, stating that it tasted like ship water. - The Drinks: Based on the celebration, we decided to split the "South Seas Pearl." We found the drink to be overwhelming, and given the premium price tag, we expected the quality to better match the cost. I wanted to bring these matters to your attention in the hope that they can be addressed for future guests.

The staff was consistently friendly, the atmosphere was great, and people were having fun. It felt like a place locals enjoy spending time, and we could see why. The food was always presented well and tasted great. The potstickers, Chicken Caesar Wrap, and Salted Caramel Cheesecake were all a hit. We also had the pizza twice. With several visits during the same trip, we got to try a few things, and the vibe, food, and drinks kept giving us a reason to come back. What stood out most was the attention to service. The manager stopped by on every visit to ask how we were doing. That kind of consistent, personal attention is something a lot of places miss, and we appreciated it. It wasn't just one good meal or one friendly interaction. They made us feel welcome every time. Clear Sky became a regular stop during our stay, and we'd gladly return the next time we're in Dunedin.
