My box of fresh donuts! Yum...
    Larry E.

When I'm visiting new towns, my sweet teeth start to rattle when I see a donut shop. My recent trip to Seaside Oregon revealed this great place called Dundee's Donuts! I was immediately pleased when I walked in to see a beautifully curated selection of their donuts behind glass. Once you order, they pull a fresh one out of a drawer below (great way to store them), not off the counter. I was also struck how clean and organized the shop was inside too. The gal that helped me was attentive and kind as she explained the flavors before me. I ordered a box of buttermilk old fashioned bars, a cherry fritter, a custard filled raised with chocolate topping, a maple covered cinnamon roll (look at that perfect finish on the icing) and a marionberry scone. I tasted them all with a hot vanilla latte (also made fresh in house) and loved every bite. Light, spongy, sweet, creamy and delicious. This is one of my favorite donut shops in Oregon! Truth...

Not worth it. Donuts are dry and not very tasty. They are appealing however don't taste as good as they look. Donut holes were alright, fresh and sugary. The glazed cake donut was small, dense, and thick. The circumference was a little small for its thickness so it was hard to eat. Glaze could have been sweeter. Customer service is good and shop looks new and updated. Busy venue because it seemed like the only donut shop on Broadway. I did see coffee shops with pastries and candy shops, but not other donut shops. Correct me if I'm wrong, but definitely not worth it.

The butterfinger long john is amazing!! Great donuts, great service :) They sell out quick so definitely go early. Perfect snack for a walk on the beach!

Not good. The maple bar was the crowd favorite. Everything else? Meh!

Didn't care hardly any of the donuts we got...and we tried quite a few. They were either too dry or had a weird flavor...or hardly any flavor at all. Definitely won't be going back. The Maple bar was about the only one I enjoyed.

    Half of four donuts.

Came here for my birthday on a Monday morning and got two mochas and four donuts. COVID wise, everything was straight forward. Lots of plastic barriers and hand sanitizer, and the cashier/barista had a mask on. Other reviews say the service isn't friendly here but I found the barista to be perfectly friendly and ordering to be straight forward. Mochas were delicious - chocolate not overpowering the espresso but still very much there. Donuts were also solid. I liked the maple bar the best, and then the apple fritter. Cake donut was fine and the buttermilk bar was just okay. Would definitely drop by again if I go through town again!

We went there last week, place itself not appealing, sort of dark, you don't have any special donuts, just regular. I tried cinnamon sugar and my son strawberry frosted, it was just ok.

Decent donuts but also the only donut option that I could find in Seaside. I was attending a family gathering, so bought a mixed dozen: sprinkles, Oreo topped, chocolate dipped, bacon and maple bars. The sprinkles and oreo topped ones were a huge hit with kiddos. My favorite was the maple bacon bar but it would've tasted better slightly heated. They heavy dip the donuts, so expect a dense and super sweet top with an unglazed bottom. The cake donuts were by far the tastiest but definitely needed a coffee to offset the sweetness.

Their customer service was great, but they really don't have a big selection of donuts to choose from.

The donuts were outstanding. The store had a large variety to choose from. It was well worth the trip down Broadway

Donuts are ok but more expensive than necessary. $2 average for an ok donut is too much.

Located near the end of a strip mall on Broadway on the Southeast side of the river, this tiny cafe and bakery serves up love and smiles. We were traveling with our two adult children who are on the autism spectrum. Our oldest is gluten free and our youngest, well he identifies as a bull moose and can be about as easy to wrangle. There were plenty of gluten free options for our oldest. Our server Zoe rocking the Wonder Woman tank was a super hero! The owner quickly tuned in to our family being on team quirky and made us feel welcome and at home. Everyone was so friendly! The food? Exceptional! This was our third breakfast out on our trip and the Chalkboard Cafe took the blue ribbon and it was not even close! My youngest had the biscuits and gravy, with a couple of eggs and a sausage patty. He's a charter member of the clean plate club and met the challenge. It was a generous portion. Our oldest had a half order of the B&G and was tempted to have one of the hot from the oven gluten free mini Marion berry pies that the owner proudly paraded around the dining room. Steaming from the oven this Marion berry pie tasted like the best of an Oregon summer. I was glad he shared a couple of bites. It was such a delight that we took a pie home for later! My wife and I shared the traditional eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached, and topped with a thick piece of ham grounded with their perfect English muffin. The Hollandaise was rich and creamy providing a wonderful coat on top of the egg. Their red potatoes were seasoned just right and were a compliment to the eggs Benedict as they would compliment most any savory breakfast. In addition to the pie we took home a couple their chocolate krinkle cookies which were not gluten free. That's the bad news. The good news is that we did not have to share them! They were heavenly! We get to Seaside at least once or twice a year and the Chalkboard Cafe will be part of our regular dining rotation while visiting. Thanks for the love and excellence! Great job and we are looking forward to our next visit!

But I didn't care too much for the flavor. Genuinely not good. And the cream cheese it came with, zero flavor, which was easily remedied by adding my own salt. The ambience and decor was quaintly charming, at first. But the more I looked the more understood that everything was creepy. Like witchcraft creepy.

Pig 'n Pancake is hands down one of the best places for an American breakfast in Seaside, Oregon…read more The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and everything has that classic, comforting breakfast quality that keeps us coming back. Every time my wife and I make the trip from Seattle to Seaside, this restaurant is a must-stop. The customer service is generally friendly, and the staff works hard even when the restaurant is busy. However, service could be more attentive during peak times. We had to ask for coffee refills instead of it being offered proactively, and better follow-through on small details like that would improve the experience. We really wish they would open a location closer to the Federal Way or Tukwila area because we'd be regular customers. We absolutely love this place and always look forward to eating here. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because we were told the wait would be about 10 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 35 to 40 minutes. To make matters more frustrating, several groups that arrived after us were seated before we were, and no one came over to update us about the delay. On top of that, the restroom situation felt very limited for the volume of guests, with only one toilet available for what seemed like hundreds of diners, which made things inconvenient during busy times. Prices have also gone up noticeably, which makes the overall value feel a bit less balanced than it used to. Better communication, improved seating order consistency, and more adequate facilities would make the experience even better.
