We were looking at some hot tubs through the local wholesale as well as online. The problem was…read morenot seeing them in person and secondly having no one local for support. After shopping some of the local hot tub dealers I found Spring Dance. William was great at showing me some options and explaining all of the differences. They currently had a manufacturers promo going at the time (which was a very good deal), it was up in a few days but William didn't pressure me. He said, if I wasn't ready to check back as there are several sales a year. Later that day I brought my wife in and William took her through the same explanation of everything. I actually bought a much better hot tub than I had planned on, nothing William did to pressure this just my own desires. When it arrived the fact that we used a local company made it worth it. They delivered it several hundred feet to a pad in our back yard. They set everything up and went over the operation. As we weren't getting power until the next morning we couldn't test it yet. Once we had it filled and power we began getting the levels right on the water. We have public water inside our house and everything outside is well water. We decided to use that due to it's convenience...big mistake. Our well water has a high level of iron in it (which we didn't know until after using), once we put in the chlorine it oxidized the iron and turned the water brown. We were going nuts, we grabbed some water and raced to Spring Dance. William calmed our nerves and said: "it's probably just high iron". After testing the levels he showed us that is exactly what it is. He took us through the process of lowering the metals in the water and gave us a specific plan for chemicals and in no time the water was crystal clear. We've had the tub now for three months...and use it a lot. The water is still crystal clear simply by us following Williams prescribed regiment of water additives. We couldn't be happier. And since they are local, we can rest assured that if something were to happen...William is only a phone call or short car ride away.

I was able to get them to come out once to fix a leak when it was still under warranty but now they never reply to voicemail or service request via website. You're much better off finding a seller that has a good track record of service and support post-sale. Update: got a quick call as soon as I posted this review, ha, but it was still back and forth with leaving messages to get someone to come out. Service tech finally came out over a week ago, could not identify the leak source and I have not heard anything from them on what the fix will be. Still on me to chase them down.

They have a large amount of parts in stock, which comes in handy when dealing with an old pool like me. They have given me honest advice on how to attempt inexpensive repairs, even at the sake of losing a sale for an expensive part. They repair motors and are quick in their repairs. For patio furniture, they rent a sling stretcher for free in case you ever need to reinstall slings on your chairs. Just go to desk and ask to use it. One downside is their cost for on site pool repairs. I was informed that their rate was $150/hr plus parts. Another local make pool service company's rate is $95/hr. I cannot support the idea of paying that much more an hour for essentially the same service.

They used to allow customers to provide their own chemicals for pool openings and closings. Now,…read morethey insist that they provide the chemicals at ridiculously inflated prices because some customers had been using "inferior chemicals." Sorry, but you can't fool a chemist. Liquid 20% NaClO is the same no matter what brand is on the label; the rest is just water. Perhaps some customers were using less concentrated ordinary laundry bleach instead, but that's no excuse to punish all customers by forcing them to purchase chemicals from them. They just lost this customer.

They said they would just do a quick drive by to look at our pool, but ended up finding the hole right away. We did contact a few other companies, some who even offered to patch it up. Ultimately, we went with a decision to have Schembri Pools get us a whole new liner. They were here so quick, practically the next day to take measurements. Our pool is very irregular shaped. It definitely took a while to take measurements. I believe we were told there were over 200 separate ones. While a lot of materials are back-ordered in general due to post-Covid shortages, the new liner actually came in quicker than anticipated (around 4 weeks). Again, they were here practically the next day to install. Installation was a breeze (for us!). They also were able to arrange two truck-fulls of water on the same day. We were using the pool a few days later after adjusting the salt and chemicals. I would say that everything about Schembri was top notch. From their communication to work ethic to even pricing. The pool is looking great and we went the whole summer without an incident. They also gave us a year guarantee which shows their commitment to customer service and confidence in their work. I would definitely recommend!
