This company was great when we purchased our spa several years ago but if you need service, forget it. Either they don't answer the phone and never return your call or they lie and tell you their voice mail system is down (lie because someone else there will give you a different story). Then when you do get an estimate, it's almost double what other comparable companies are charging for the same exact job. But wait... That's not all... then they can try to schedule you months from now at an over inflated price. And the service scheduler, she will finally call you back, but can't answer any questions bc that's someone else's job. read more

I purchased an expensive swim spa from spring dance. I have had nothing but issues since the purchase two years ago --it gets clogged, it does not work and the pumps break. You cannot reach anyone at spring dance and even when they do say they're going to come out and help you they do not. I am now left with a huge eye sore in my backyard that I cannot use. I feel that they were very sneaky and knew that this product should not have been installed here and no one is taking any accountability or helping me at all. It is to die for!!! I have been a pest to William over the past few years while I debated and debated. I love my hot tub...although i am dealing with 90 degree weather in October cause this is PA. I wanted to buy from a reliable company that could help me with issues. I always have them...doesn't matter what i buy. I end up wanting more information than a google search can give me. I had William do a water analysis for me which was amazing. I bought the seat for my short friends and the handrail..you will love it but hate the light..not sure why manufacturer even bothers w it. The rhythm by hotspring is an easy system..one filter and frog cartridge. I had low calcium that caused foaming. Easy fix. Honestly dont buy a hot tub online..you need a company that stands behind you. Spring dance is reliable and always there when I call email. We were looking at some hot tubs through the local wholesale as well as online. The problem was not seeing them in person and secondly having no one local for support. After shopping some of the local hot tub dealers I found Spring Dance. William was great at showing me some options and explaining all of the differences. They currently had a manufacturers promo going at the time (which was a very good deal), it was up in a few days but William didn't pressure me. He said, if I wasn't ready to check back as there are several sales a year. Later that day I brought my wife in and William took her through the same explanation of everything. I actually bought a much better hot tub than I had planned on, nothing William did to pressure this just my own desires. When it arrived the fact that we used a local company made it worth it. They delivered it several hundred feet to a pad in our back yard. They set everything up and went over the operation. As we weren't getting power until the next morning we couldn't test it yet. Once we had it filled and power we began getting the levels right on the water. We have public water inside our house and everything outside is well water. We decided to use that due to it's convenience...big mistake. Our well water has a high level of iron in it (which we didn't know until after using), once we put in the chlorine it oxidized the iron and turned the water brown. We were going nuts, we grabbed some water and raced to Spring Dance. William calmed our nerves and said: "it's probably just high iron". After testing the levels he showed us that is exactly what it is. He took us through the process of lowering the metals in the water and gave us a specific plan for chemicals and in no time the water was crystal clear. We've had the tub now for three months...and use it a lot. The water is still crystal clear simply by us following Williams prescribed regiment of water additives. We couldn't be happier. And since they are local, we can rest assured that if something were to happen...William is only a phone call or short car ride away. read more

We purchased a hot tub from an ad and hired Spring Dance Hot Tubs to move it from the seller's home to our house. An unexpected medical emergency delayed our scheduled appointment. SDHT were able to reschedule our move with ease. Then it rained, and rained and as you would expect, rained again. Finally a clear day! Their full staff, equipment and procedure were absolutely professional and experienced. We bought our first tub in 2003 from spring dance and always received excellent service. When we needed to replace it it was a no brainer that we'd be a return customer. It is nice to have a solid business in the area who can provide factory warranty as well as other services. Last thing you want is to buy a hot tub just to have the place close and you're left trying to find service. Our recent replacement/installation went off without a hitch. Hot tub has a major leak, confirmed by three technicians Sept-Nov 2022, that is covered under the warranty. I was told the waiting list for repairs was approximately 2 years. I was also instructed to just keep adding water. Tub is a 6 person/450 gal Grande and was losing 7 inches of water every 8-10 days. It has now been 10 months since my tub has not been operating as advertised. Latest technician came out recently, after I complained, and worked on the tub. Still leaking. I am now shutting the tub down. My family has not been able to consistently use the tub and I am worried about the continuous leak and my warranty. Very disappointed. I have had zero help. Staff unprofessional Tamma laughed at me on the phone saying pavers and cement can be replaced and chimney repaired. Just got a call from "jerry" saying the owner didn't like my posts , so not only are they not going to help us get things repaired. Before making any major purchase or home improvement, I always check Yelp and Home Advisor. You would be surprised how few hut tub dealers have good reviews. Spring Dance has great reviews (we went to the Exton location), and from my perspective, they've earned them. We got a great deal on a very nice hot tub, the exact model and color my wife had picked out from them while looking at their web site. The staff was great to work with, the delivery people did a great job, and they gave a good recommendation for a person we could contact to make a pad for us. They walked us through the whole set up and maintenance process (which is not difficult but requires attention) and made sure we knew how and who to reach if we had questions. Those first few days of operation, we had a lot of questions, and they were gracious, patient and professional in responding. It's been almost a month and we're as happy as can be. They sell you a lemon hot tub with a lemon salt cell for over 18K and say you have a 5 year warranty. Then the salt thing never works properly from day one it works on and off flashing yellow Them a few months after a year it is more constant flashing yellow and they say you need to pay a couple more thousand for a new cell. They are the worst company ever liars and deceitful and just money hungry trying to bleed people dry out of their hard earned money DO NOT BUY FROM HERE EVER BUYERS BEWARE. Recently moved a Hot Springs tub from Boston to Philly. New England Spa recommended Spring Dance for my reinstall. Great reco. Their staff is friendly and efficient, office and field based crew and they show up when they say they are going to. Even called to let me know they were on the way. Pricing was in the ball park as well. As a DIY'er I am not easily satisfied and I let service providers know. On the flip side, I really appreciate it when they meet or exceed expectations. Our initial experience at the Exton location was good. Staff at the store such as Austin are great and are as helpful as they can be. Our negative experience came about 10 months after paying greater than 10K on a Tropic Seas Spas hot tub. Things were ok until the heater failed in mid December less than a year into having the hot tub. The service team came out and confirmed that the heater failed and we needed a replacement part. It is now February and our hot tube has been non-functional for almost 2 months. Other than the folks like Austin, it is extremely difficult to get anyone in the Service Department on the phone to give you any information about when the part will be available or when the part will be fixed. We essentially have no clue when we will have a functional hot tub again. As of now I would recommend you choose another place to buy a hot tub. The initial customer service is good, but if you have any issues you are pretty much left in the dark. read more

We were long time and loyal customers of Spring Dance Hot Tubs until we signed up and prepaid for their Hot Tub 'Service.' The experience has been awful and they have categorically refused to work with us to make improvements. We did not want to sever ties and tried to come to an amicable conclusion however they are unwilling to work with us. We purchased our hot tub from them and used them exclusively for products, repairs and service - even though they are not the most price competitive, over 10 years. At the first sign of poor service (ex. the service employee did not do a proper cleaning of the filters, did not scrub the lid, did not wipe out the tub during a drain and clean), captured by our patio camera, we asked for the issues to be corrected. We thought that by working with Spring Dance, we could get satisfaction but not so. For that reason we can no longer recommend this company and want to caution others when considering choosing them. read more

This is the second hot tub that I've purchased from Spring Dance. First one was awesome and had NO issues. My son is disabled and loves the hot tub - even in the winter. We purchased the Grandee model about two years ago and their service people cannot figure out why it will not maintain a temperature of 98 degrees in the winter. Our prior hot tub had no issues -even when it was very cold outside and he was in the tub for over 3 hours. Now, the tub is useless when it gets cold because it won't maintain the temperature. I just got off the phone with Watkins, who they suggested we call, and they were USELESS. Explained the issue and they said that Spring Dance should diagnose the problem. The only place to go if you are looking for a spa. Easy purchase with the best pricing around. Willam is highly qualified, and he helped me all the way through the sale and set up process. When I ran into difficulties with the spa (user error) William was available (after the store was closed) on his cell phone to assist. When it was determined that I was not going to resolve the issue, Willam had his technician out to my house the next morning. We bought a Hot Springs--Jetsetter from them in 2003 for our home in the poconos. We loved the Hot tub!! Never any issues!! Had a Jacuzzi brand for another home in the mts and it was a nightmare for 5 yrs!! We have since sold the homes and will be going to the Bucks and Montg Home show this weekend to decide again for one for our primary home in Flourtown. Their service is the best and they know the product!! The brand might cost a little bit more but having had another brand it is worth every penny!! read more

I recently purchased a home with a hot tub. I knew nothing about hot tubs so I called Spring Dance to send some one out to clean the tub and give me an education in hot tub care. The person on the phone at Spring Dance was extremely helpful in explaining what the visit would include and what equipment ( ie. filters, chemicals) should be addressed at the visit. The service person who arrived was Bob. He was very thorough and educational. He made care and maintenance seem easy which, so far, it has been.
