Our group of 20 arranged for 18 holes of golf and lunch after. Unfortunately, I injured myself a day prior and could only do the lunch. I pass this course quite often, played there years ago and was disappointed that I couldn't golf. I forget about this course actually. Anyway, as my group finished golf and arrived for lunch most said the grounds were as hard as a rock, not in good shape and I should be glad not to have golfed that day. Hmm. They all said no more golf outings there. In all fairness, it is the first week of Spring and maybe it just needs more time since the season is just starting. Nonetheless...they were very disappointed. On a good note, the 20 of us sat on the outside covered patio and had a really good lunch. I wasn't expecting much based on the bad reviews of the course therefore I was quite surprised just how good the food was at their restaurant. My burger and fries were delicious. Cooked exactly as requested. The chicken cheesesteak was a huge sandwich and filled with a generous amount of chicken. Two could easily share that. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Only one mishap...they ran out of fries! Substituted onion rings. Normally, that would be a good thing however, the onion rings looked awful. Skinny and overdone, more fried breading then onion...not the good kind of onion rings. Glad I was last to get the fries otherwise my review would be less stars. The quesadilla, salads and other meals also looked very good and generous portions. Our service was friendly and timly. I can see going back for lunch at some point to dine outside on a nice day. Not sure about the golf? I was fluctuating between 3 and 4 stars bc 3.5 would be my pick however, I just can't do 4 stars...hopefully next time. And I will try the restaurant again...probably one of the better restaurants in that area. read more

My wife and I had lovely time on Valentines Day at the Bucks Club Restaurant having a prefixed meal. There was live music and the diners were having a good time. A bit noisy. Young waitresses and receptionist did an excellent job. They were right there if you needed anything. There were selections for dinner to choose from. Appetizers we choose were salad and shrimp brisket soup. I had the soup and can verify there was a good amount of shrimp in the soup. It was good. We ordered NY Strip steak and a very tasty risotto dish. Sections for dessert were apple pie and ice cream and crème boule. The price was $55 per person plus drink. Plenty of parking at this golf course restaurant. All went well. Food was very good. Full bar. Atmosphere was very social. Recommend the restaurant. There was a dedicated hamburger night but check out their schedule. read more

This review is for the golf course 2025. The course is in horrible shape. Most bunkers don't have sand, lots of tee boxes don't have grass, and lots of fairways have huge dead spots. And it's not cheap! Invest in an irrigation system! I have been playing Bucks for 30 years and it's in as bad shape as when it was last sold and redesigned. Waste of money at this point. Great golf course. Love the GPS on the carts and that I can order food and drinks on them. Took one star off because as a female golfer, I really wish you would invest in a porta potty or two. It really sucks having to miss a hole and drive back to the clubhouse to use the bathroom. It really deters me from playing there more often. read more

I'm going to review the pool only. Have been a long time member and the pool is horrible this year. They decided to go with an outside company. The interna lifeguards can't communicate because they don't understand u. Pool and surrounding area is dirty. If this is what they r going to keep then they need to lower rates to same as Fannie chapman. You can call people and no one does anything. Very frustrating for the money u pay and how pool is run. read more

I had my daughters bridal shower on the outdoor deck and would not do another event there again. Mare the event organizer was awful. Every thing we asked for ie linen color, drink and food tables to be set up outside was not executed. I asked for linens on the tables to elevate the atmosphere on the deck and food outside for our guests bc we didn't want them to have to go inside to eat. Mare didn't like that idea she said the linens will be blowing all over and bugs will get on food. I told her I didn't think that would be a problem. on the night of event there were no linens on the table and the color I asked for rust, was never ordered for the event. instead she offered us blue or white linens which did not coordinate with our fall theme. she brought out the wrong size wrinkled white linens and attempted to tie them to fit the tables which looked awful. the staff set up the food inside again not what I asked for. and as my guests arrived the harvest drink table wasnt even assembled yet. the staff was literally carrying out tables to put the grazing board on as my guests were arriving. I had no drinks to offer them and they had to stay out of the way of staff setting up. Maryann was very helpful. while this was all happening Mare was nowhere to be found. bar staff was looking for her and couldn't find her. bottom line is Mare set up the party as she liked and didn't listen to anything I asked for. in the end she billed me for 55 ppl when I only had 35. she was clueless!!! awful experience and think twice before u have any event at the Bucks club. read more

I got married there on July 8th. I would like to say this place made my wedding amazing. First off, Joseph was so accomodating. He took care of my wife's and I every need. We also had a sweetheart table with our personal bartender, bride AND groom suite for both of us to get ready, and an accomodating staff. The only hiccup was that they forgot our cake topper but after contacting the baker (which is an outside bakery Bucks Club uses) they IMMEDIATELY sent a person to bring the cake topper well in time before we cut the cake. The service we received from the pro(who was very arrogant!!) was sub-par to say the least. He acted as though we were lucky to play "his" course.(as if this was lookaway golf club) We've played lookaway and were treated much better. I have no clue how the front desk staff is set up? The staff in general is rude. We had an issue with the starter, who was anti-social(why would you hire a starter who is backwards?) There were no marshals and it took forever to get through the course... The course itself was OK(nothing special) It was in good shape.. a few dog legs and pretty open fairways... but, WE WOULD NEVER GO BACK due to the staff!!! It is fairly cheap to play, maybe you only get what you pay for...? Get rid of the cocky kid you call a pro and maybe we'd come back!!! read more

Their customer service is sub par. I had an issue with my recent pool membership (did not receive guest passes even though I sent check in time) and have tried to reach the club manager several times. He does not return phone calls in a timely manner (if at all). It would have been a simple thing to admit their mistake in not sending the passes, but after several weeks of trying to reach someone in charge, I have decided that I will not be renewing my pool membership next year or scheduling any events there. The pool itself is nice, but it is apparent that they do not value customer service. read more

We had our year end banquet for Victory Vipers All Star Cheer (Doylestown) here last night. We had almost 250 people, many of them children. I could not recommend this place any higher, they did a phenomenal job. The entire staff was amazing. The planning process was very easy and they were very flexible with our group. I don't know who laid the cement foundation on the greens and fairways of this course, but it made them rich. Don't hit anything but a 7 iron off the tee, or else your ball will roll past green. Once you finally get on the green though, hit the piss out of the putt because even downhill putts will be short. read more

The Bucks Club has two nines that are VERY different. The front nine is like stepping in a boxing ring with a sparring partner. You can build up a sweat, but you aren't likely to get hurt. The back nine is like a title bout with Joe Lewis. It is an amazing course. Bring a referee and some smelling salts. There are two things that both nines have in common: 1. Most of the tee shots are blind, so you have to ride ahead in your cart to see the hole. If you don't do this, you will be in trouble. 2. The greens have lots on undulation and are difficult to read. Case in point. Hole 13 must have at least five elephants buried under the green; its a long par three. I have NEVER seen a green with so many LARGE mounds. It is very easy for an expert golfer to three putt several greens (I did). They are not slow and the ball can get sucked into a valley on the green and roll away. You can be 10-15 feet away because you did not see the slope. The other thing is that the greens are firm, so it is a good idea if you roll the ball up, rather than go directly for the pin. If you do go for the pin, you have to give the ball a lot of spin if the pin is in the front, which is very tricky because of the slopes. However, if the pin is back, you need about 20-25 feet to stop the ball. Again, go up and look at the green and what is behind it and how the green itself slopes. You never know what be behind it if you don't look. It was a fun course, but a good golfer will enjoy it more than a novice. There are several holes with carry - if you don't get over the hazard, you are lost. The back nine has many more of these hero shots. Holes 11, 12, 13, 14 and 16 all require length and precision. The 18th has water in front of the green, so your drive needs to be long-enough to give you a reasonable shot over the hazard. I hit a 290 yard drive on 18, and I had 150 yards left. A 250 yard drive from the blues would leave you 190 yards over water. Novices would need to be smart enough to know when to lay-up. The clubhouse is very nice. The grille and bar look out on the 18th. This is one of the best values around - at least for public (daily fee) play. They do have memberships, but they don't tell you on their web site what they cost. Most semi-public courses publish that information, but they want you to call them. If you can't afford it, they will embarrass you - I assume. This discourages memberships. So for now, put it on your list for daily fee golf when your home club is closed for a tourney. read more

Other than this experience, the service here is nice. There is one worker named Mare who was specifically giving my friend problems. She took all of the teenage girls' bags and no one else's. I understand the concern for drugs/alcohol, and normally that would be fine, but this woman was very rude going about it. She specifically looked my friend (who is Hispanic) up and down and not me and my other friend (who are white/white passing) and told her she needed to take her bag from her. She agreed, and went to take out her lipgloss to keep. The employee consistently asked her if she really needed it and similar questions. Eventually she let Mare take her bag with the lipgloss. Later on she wanted to fix her lipgloss, and asked for her bag back. Mare was obviously annoyed, and even asked if it was "REALLY lipgloss." She then waited outside the bathroom for a bit while she was applying it, and even followed her in a WATCHED her while she put it on. I have worked at banquet halls and country clubs before and know for a fact that this isn't normal protocol. This is an invasion of privacy at best, and if it is policy, at least don't be rude about it. If I had done this when I was a banquet hall worker I would have been told to go home, and if I had the audacity to single out someone and be rude to them specifically I would have been fired on the spot. First off I would like to say how wonderful, Joseph was!! He was more than accommodating and made our night a lot of fun! The land was absolutely gorgeous too. The staff was great and super welcoming and helpful as well. The food was pretty decent too!! We only had one issue, one of the female bartenders was just absolutely horrible. We were there for a wedding on June 17, having a great time, but every time we went to order a drink from the female bartender she was just absolutely super rude and actually "cut us off!" As a part of the wedding party, I was kinda shocked. I had two minuscule rocks drinks because she wouldn't pour it any larger within a three hour period. Being a bartender myself, I know when to cut people off and none of us should have been cut off for anything. Everyone was having a good time and enjoying themselves, no one was acting crazy or drunk at all. We were stunned because the one male bartender was taken back too! Plus we tipped her 40.00 right at the beginning!!! You can't be a part of customer service, if you don't have good customer service skills. Other than that, everything else was great. read more

his is where i come on a daily basis. To swim, exercise, and use the sauna. The pool has a full service snack bar and THREE pools! The men's and women's restrooms both have showers! The Jamison Grill is the only place in the bucks club i don't go to. But i love the sauna, and the men's locker room! The locker room no longer has a TV!!!!! This review is based solely on the experience we had at a wedding that was held at the club. That being said, we simply couldn't have been happier with the experience. The locker room (which is nice, clean and very plush) was turned into a beautiful bridal suite where we felt pampered and were treated wonderfully. The golf course offered beautiful landscapes for wedding party photos, and the entire first floor opened into a lovely space big enough for over 200 people. We chose The Bucks Club for our wedding on Jan 12, 2109. Out of every venue in the area we chose this one. We were so pleased with everything from start to end! The food, service and staff were better than perfect!!!! We have also stopped in for dinner a few times and the Bucks Pub is excellent. It's also open to the public which is great because we aren't members. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable! I would recommend anything steak that the chef puts out. Today I did the hair of a wedding party that had their wedding today. I was not even a part in the wedding and the service there was extraordinary! Is very nice but had a very rude worker. I think she's a worker and her name Mare and she was at the front greeting people and taking the teens bag for safety purposes or i think so. she took my bag and i decided to take my lipgloss out with me because that's alll i had with me as a replacer as chapstick for the night. she asked if i really needed my lipgloss and said it in such a rude tone. She also said if we needed anything from our bags we can go find her. I went to find her and ask her for my lipgloss. she scoffed at me and then proceeded to ask if it was really lipgloss. mind you it's the size of a mans middle finger and wide as a mans finger. She asked if i could actually show her so she could see it wasn't liquor. Getting my bag taken felt like am invasion of privacy. i have all my important things that i need with me at all times. i felt so belittled in that moment. she's a terrible person and does not her this establishment. read more

Wow. The staff overall was very friendly. But there was one worker name Mare who really had a nerve. She was immensely unprofessional. Right as we walked into the door of the establishment, she was rude. She was extremely insistent on taking my girlfriend's bag, which I get, but when my girlfriend took out her lip gloss to keep, she forced her to put it back, while looking my girlfriend up and down. My girlfriend finally gave Mare her bag with the lip gloss in it. It came time where my girlfriend needed her lip gloss, and when she asked to see her OWN BAG, Mare scoffed at her and said "Sure, I guess". My girlfriend took out her lip gloss, and Mare made her actually show her that it was lip gloss, and that it didn't have any drugs or alcohol in it. My girlfriend then went to the bathroom to apply the lip gloss, and Mare followed her in and watched her apply it. When my girlfriend later needed a feminine care product, she acted annoyed again and followed her into the bathroom to make sure that it really was a tampon. She made my girlfriend take out the tampon in front of her. The combination of both these events was extremely intrusive. There were some more minor events as well, and overall, she was extremely unpleasant, unprofessional, and intrusive. We asked one of our friends (who is white, whereas my girlfriend is Hispanic), if she was given any trouble about bringing her makeup or bag in, and she was not even glanced at. Mare welcomed her, and didn't even ask for her bag, and knew she had makeup with her. When we confronted her about this after the party, she claimed that she was the nicest person there, and that we didn't know what we were talking about. She also claimed what she was doing was standard protocol, while my friend (who has worked in banquet halls, country clubs, and other party venues), has said that never ever would this be accepted as protocol. She even said she would be fired on the spot if she was acting the way Mare acted. In conclusion, we had an extremely unpleasant experience at this venue. If there is anybody thinking of having an event here in the future, I highly advise you against doing so, because Mare will make your family look bad, and she will make the experience for your event extremely unpleasant, and intrusive for your guests. If I could give this establishment a half star out of 5, I would. The place was very clean and pretty, the food was good, and so was the customer service with the other employees except for Mare. In conclusion, I strongly advise you not to coordinate events through The Bucks Club. read more

The wedding I attended there was amazing! Everything was perfect. We worked with Joseph and Pam, and they were absolutely fabulous! Everything was wonderful thanks to them. They were very accommodating and we even had a surprise photo booth show up for the bride and groom which they "snuck" in perfectly. The food was delicious for rehearsal dinner as well as the day of the wedding. The entire staff was great; servers, bartenders, coat check, everyone!! Really cool course. Front 9 play as a resort style player friendly course. Back 9 is a total different course that is windy, tree filled, and very scenic. My brother had a hole in one from one of the back 9 pas 3's but he was playing from the red tees. Not sure if that counts or not. Overall, a quality course at a fair price. Five ponds is its competitor. It's worth it to do both. Five ponds is one of my favorites but expect a 5 hour round. This will play faster and be a more enjoyable experience. read more
