Aldie Mansion and the grounds are simply breathtaking! From the initial meeting with Kim Bates to the detail planning stages with Monika Zadroga, the entire process was fabulous. Monika stepped in after a small hiccup with the prior event planner and we couldn't have been more impressed by her attention to detail, walking us through each step and what to expect. She was extremely accommodating with some of the cultural components we wanted to add to our day! Aldie mansion and the entire staff were incredibly attentive and ensuring we had a stress free day! The Aldie Mansion is absolutely gorgeous! We attended a wedding here and were so impressed with the lush landscape and the intricately decorated rooms inside. I imagine the mansion is not cheap to rent, but it was a wonderful spot to have a wedding. There are several unique spots outside the mansion to hold a ceremony, whether you prefer to have a fountain, flowers, or a huge oak tree in the background of your wedding shots. I'm not a fan of catered food, but the mansion's catering company was pretty good. I liked the mini burger appetizers and my beef tenderloin dinner. I really liked all the small rooms that we were able to mingle in. They set up the bar in the library and a photo booth in another room. My cousin had her wedding here. It was absolutely gorgeous!!! Words can not even describe how gorgeous this place is. The food was AMAZING!!! I did not leave even a crumb on my plate. This is a mixed review of Aldie Mansion. The executive summary is, the day ended up being perfect but getting to the day was not entirely easy or smooth. When you choose Aldie Mansion you're actually choosing the catering company JAM (Jeffrey A Miller). JAM caters the event and helps with some of the logistics of the venue and they're an exclusive partner to the venue. Throughout the process, you partner with a sales person at JAM who takes you through the selection of the day, the menu, table settings etc. While the venue is absolutely gorgeous and the food quite good, we had a really negative experience with our particular salesperson who made getting to our wedding day frustrating and cumbersome. This person had low attention to detail and would regularly mix us up with different couples - from sending us the menu a week prior for a wedding the same date the following year, to not knowing who the bride was when the salesperson was standing next to her in the bridal suite. That lack of attention to detail forced us to be constantly concerned that the day was going to be a nightmare and required us to go above and beyond to ensure the day would be flawless. We also had to fight to get a tent to facilitate a safe outdoor wedding during COVID, and it felt like they wanted us to reschedule even though we were trying to be compliant with every state guideline. This was discouraging because we felt like we were trying hard to make it work, and they were trying hard to get us to reschedule to a more expensive date in the future. We wish they'd been coming to us with proactive solutions to be safe instead of the other way around. We were so unconfident in the week leading up to the wedding that we hired a day of coordinator to handle some redundant tasks as the salesperson because we weren't sure it was going to get done. In hindsight this was necessary because the salesperson would not have been as attentive to detail as the day of coordinator even though they promote the service of the salesperson as handling some of those 'day of' responsibilities. It's a shame because we ended up having the perfect wedding day, the venue was great, it looks beautiful in pictures and is designed to have a good flow for a party. Also the food was quite excellent. But getting to the day was so stressful that we are not sure we'd go with JAM again. Our one recommendation would be to invest in training for the sales team to be more customer centric and attentive to detail so it doesn't detract from the wedding day experience they provide which was quite good. read more

My husband and I were just married at Aldie Mansion, and I'm still floating from the joy of our magical day! The location is absolutely beautiful (right in Doylestown) and the staff is so wonderfully helpful! They are so calm and helpful with everything. They truly know how to accommodate the guests with everything from pre-ceremony beverages to wildly delicious h'orderves right after the ceremony. I emailed my wonderful coordinator Anne (assigned through Jeffery Miller Catering, who provides all of the food) and she was always very helpful and patient! On the day of the wedding, she was right there making sure people were where they needed to be, offering help, and calmly working with the musicians, DJ, florist, etc. She's WONDERFUL! They offer two ceremony times on Saturday, and being a fan of sparklers and romantic lighting, we chose the 6:30 pm option (the other one is a late morning/early afternoon slot). We were married outside by the garden (there's also this big beautiful oak tree) and there was a long, dramatic walk for me to come down! The guests then enjoyed drinks and food throughout the first floor of the mansion, but mainly congregated on the outside patio with the fountain. There's some seating available for people (which is always nice for munching!) but lots of space to rest a plate or drink as well for our standers. The ballroom area where dinner was served and the dancing took place stayed cool and comfortable the whole night. They can put lanterns inside and outside that just add to the ambience. Everything was truly wonderful and I can't share enough positive comments! Many people called or talked with us afterward to say it was one of the most beautiful weddings they ever attended. They loved the charm of the venue, the food was delicious, and the evening moved without a glitch! read more

I went to my cousin's wedding here yesterday. It's a beautiful venue. I'd love to see it in full bloom. The food was fantastic and delicious. The wait staff is pleasant and fun. My only reason for the 4 stars is that the bartender seemed incapable of making a decent Manhattan and didn't seem to care that she couldn't. read more

I was married at Aldie Mansion this summer. And it was the best day of my life! The Aldie Mansion was a huge factor in this! The entire experience was overwhelmingly wonderful. We had so many guests tell us it was 'the best wedding they had ever been to'. Everyone who has seen the photos online that our friends and family posted, has said (first: how beautiful I was) how amazing the mansion is! It was important to me to have an outdoor ceremony and a rustic feel; but I also had to accommodate to the tastes of our families; who are more conservative and elegant. This paired both of our styles and everyone was so pleased. The food was so good! And there were so many options to choose from. We chose to do a sit down dinner with braised brisket and fontina chicken options. The staff was fast and friendly. I always had a full drink in hand! The coordinator was so helpful and knowledgeable throughout all of my planning. She asked all the right questions, helped us create a timeline for the day, and was so helpful in answering all of my questions (there were plenty!) Everything was laid out to us from the very beginning, and there were no surprises. We got exactly what we wanted, and I am so proud of the event we were able to pull off. I was just recently married at Aldie mansion two weeks ago. It was an amazing experience, and very well planned. Everyone commented on how exceptional the decor and food was! Jeffery Miller Catering is pricey but worth every penny! Delicious meal! We ended up running out of vodka at 6pm, and I later learned that our party planner, Kim ran out and got more vodka to keep the party rolling! They went above and beyond their duties! I had my wedding recently at Aldie Mansion, catered by Jeffery Miller Catering and I loved it! One of the many many compliments I received were about the food and how delicious it is and we were catering to a very picky crowd! The hors d'oreuves and the entrees were perfectly fresh and did not resemble anything that came from a package. My husband went especially nuts for the cheesesteak eggrolls and micro cheeseburger and fries. Another reason I selected Aldie was the beautiful décor. The historic touch combined with the beautiful landscape (which was even better with snow) made it romantic for the photo shoots. Let's not forget the staff. They were fantastic as well. All the food were served quickly and dishes were removed promptly as well as the cleaning at the end of the wedding. I can't say enough good things about Aldie, Jeffery Miller Catering and their staff. It exceeded our expectations and more! It was a home run!! read more

We just had our wedding there in April 2016 and felt a need to post our positive feedback on Yelp. The venue is obviously beautiful, but the staff and chef are what impressed us the most. Our wedding coordinator went above and beyond to make us feel good about everything going smooth the day of. She took care of everything and the wedding was just perfect. More importantly, the food exceeded our expectations. We had a trial tasting so we knew that it was going to be good, but the food that night was 5 stars. I just had my wedding this past October at Aldie. The venue is gorgeous first of all and also the staff is so accommodating and wonderful! The outside is gorgeous and I had my mind set on having the wedding outdoors under the beautiful lit oak tree, but unfortunately it rained last minute and I wasn't able to have the wedding outside. Although I was pretty bummed, the staff at Aldie were so understanding and quickly moved our wedding indoors! Kim, our wedding planner, even suggested that we could even push back our wedding time just to see if it would stop raining. She was wonderful and so helpful! She even made sure when it stopped raining that the big oak tree outside was lit so that we could at least take pictures with it. Also, the food was amazing and the cake was delicious!!! Everything that we chose for the menu were perfectly executed and and we were so happy with the food. Some of my guests still tell me which foods they really enjoyed! Another thing that we loved about Aldie, is that it is so intimate, the only ones at Aldie on your wedding day is you and your guests. There's no one else and that's what I also loved about it. We attended a wedding here recently. What a great, magical space! Everything was truly spectacular! Driving in and seeing the beautiful mansion, the grounds for the ceremony, and the ballroom were all so great. The food was awesome! Most weddings are the cookie cutter eat and dance but this was the best time - we all felt like we were eating in a great restaurant salad, and the filet were so tasty and then we were sent off with warm donuts after a night full of dancing and exploring the cool mansion! We fell in love with Aldie Mansion the first time we saw it because it was historic and romantic. We signed the contract with Heritage Conservancy and Jeffrey A Miller catering more than a year before our wedding date. The tasting event was a gastronomic experience (advise- do not eat the day prior) and helped us pick out menu items. About 3 months prior to our wedding date, Kim Bates, our wedding coordinator, set the wheels in motion and everything came out perfectly. She went through our menu selections thoroughly and made very helpful suggestions. She drew a map of the venue so we could plan where everything was going to be. She mapped out the entire event by the minute. She suggested having dance sets in between dinner courses. She was very flexible regarding personal decorations we wanted to use. While we were getting ready, one of the bridesmaids had a hemming emergency and we needed an iron. Kim found one and delivered it to the bride's suite. It down-poured the entire afternoon of our wedding day. We planned for a ceremony outdoors. Half an hour before our ceremony was about to start, the rain turned into a drizzle. Kim and her team quickly moved chairs out to the patio. We had a wonderful, intimate, super-romantic ceremony by the fountain. The toast while we were on the balcony made it even more special. We could not have picked a better venue. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was, how good the food was, and how well the festivities flowed. Kim, Tessa, and their team did an awesome job and we can't say enough superlatives about them. If you are thinking of getting married in Bucks County, you will be missing out if you did not have it at the gorgeous, historic Aldie Mansion, savor JAM catering's wonderful menu, and work with a wonderful team of wedding professionals. All the venues I looked at didnt even compare to Aldie Mansion. The moment I walked into aldie I knew it was where I wanted to get married. We booked at Aldie about a year and a half to two years before our wedding date. On the day of the wedding we knew what to except on the wedding day, aldie had everything planned which made the night flow well. Our maitre de was easy to talk to and to found. She helped with anything. They had a tasting that everyone was invited to which was nice because you could smaple what food you would like. The one down fall from picking aldie was having to supply your on alcohol which wasn't terrible, just inconvenient. Also at the end of the night you must leave with everything, so my family memebers and I were running around collecting things. Aldie worked well with my other vendors. read more
