There was enough space in my 10 am bus on a Tuesday for most people to get their whole row, but I suppose that is highly dependent on the day and time. I found the bus to be clean, and the riders quiet and respectful. They do lose a star because the bus doesn't have any design on it and there's no company supervision/workers by it. Because I had purchased my tickets through Wanda Coach, I couldn't be sure which bus I was supposed to get on, and other passengers had told me this wasn't "the Wanda Coach bus." There were no workers outside the bus taking tickets and supervising the bags in the bottom of the bus. I was definitely uncomfortable leaving my bag out in the open in the middle of the street before the driver closed it up and we left. All in all, however, it was a pretty good deal, and we made it to Chinatown only a few minutes late because of NYC traffic!

I have only ever gone on bus trips as a passenger with other groups. I didn't have a clue what to do so I just searched online and started calling places. I figured in my head, hey I get the cheapest price and the guys will be happy. The first couple companies I called were nice enough, and gave me prices, but certainly did not go out of their way to make me feel that comfortable or make this any easier on an old guy like me. Honestly, Werner Coach was the last place I called. I'm so glad I made that one last call to Werner! The woman who answered the phone transferred me to the sales manager, Lynsey. What a blessing! I apologized that I didn't really know what I was doing, but I needed a rate for a bunch of us guys to go to DC. She was so nice and knew exactly what questions to ask about what we wanted to do. Things the other companies didn't ask about rest stops, itinerary, she suggested places we could stop to eat and was just a joy. She was so accommodating even until the day before the trip when she called to confirm all the details. When our bus arrived earlier than expected I breathed a sigh of relief. The bus was clean, the AC worked, and it was comfortable. The driver pulled up, got out and introduced himself and shook my hand. His name was Jason. He went over the itinerary with me to make sure there were no last minute changes. Everyone loaded and we were on our way. Jason's driving was excellent. He was very cautious and safe. Even in Washington, DC. There was so much traffic and some of the streets are narrow and he handled it like a pro. Throughout the day he was on time and ready even when we were running late a few times. He pointed out sights to us as we drove by which was appreciated. We got home a little late due to traffic, but it was an awesome trip thanks to Werner. From the first call, to the time Jason dropped us off, they were first class. I am definitely recommending them to everyone I know!

Of course, I can understand it arriving about 15 minutes late due to traffic or whatever, but then everyone had to wait in line outdoors next to the bus for an additional 35 minutes to board without any explanation! The two Peter Pan team members just kept staring at their phones, while we all stood in line. Eventually, one of my fellow pending passengers demanded an explanation on all our behalf. The guys told there was a "glitch" not enabling them to read our tickets. (To add, of course Peter Pan has no human Customer Service available after latest 4 PM... and that's only Thursday and Friday... other days that closes as early as 2 PM.) Seriously? Peter Pan hasn't organized a backup protocol when the system isn't functioning? Would seem also apparently no 24 hour effective system support for their staff! Hey, Peter A. Picknelly III at Peter Pan! Are you OK having customers just standing around, waiting, and being later? Grow up Peter Pan! Your team members need suspenders to go with their seat belts! The drivers accommodated all of us -- especially those with disabilities without delay or conflict. That was very refreshing and professional. My only suggestion is that riders can be sent the pick up route/instructions the day before they arrive to avoid so much confusion once they land. Nobody at the airport seemed informed and the confusion was high as people arrived from all over the world for this international conference. Thank you for being professional and providing reliable and safe passage! Great job by all!! The buses were on time, comfortable, clean, and with the fee. The drivers were friendly and accommodating.
