The food was good, but it takes a long while to get things. Appetizer was the absolute last thing to come out which was frustrating. They have you order via a QR code that doesn't really work all that well and then they want you to order everything at once instead of like most of these types of places where you can order as you go (ex: dim sum, kbbq, sushi, etc.). We like to order as we go so we don't overwhelm ourselves with too much food at once or waste food. The pros and cons: the scallion pancake is amazing. Super thin and crispy and light. I had the pork and cabbage dumplings (pan fried) and my fiancé had the beef pan fried and beef bao. The dumplings were hot and tasty (the first round anyway), but when we finally got our second round, they were just warm. Cons, the food coming out is pretty slow and they rush you to order everything at once. The server said they were super busy but it didn't seem like there were many people in the dining room, but maybe they were just short handed. Our friends we dined with had been twice before and said this was inconsistent with the last two times they'd been there and that the wonton soup was different this time as well. We had to ask for one item in our order to be canceled because it was completely forgotten. My fiancé also ended up with an upset stomach after but the beef dumplings did seem a little oily to me. First I will say I love dumplings so when I saw this place I had to try it. Plus I read the reviews and everyone raved about it. So I'm going to do the same.. lol. The food was on point. Nice and fresh and came out pipping hot!! I ordered the Szechuan chicken extra spicy and they did not disappoint. This is the first time I ordered extra spice and was like yes. My only comment on this is it needs to come with more rice, but there was plenty of chicken. The dumplings were nice the soup ones were too hot to eat at first. Learn from my mistake make sure you move all the dumplings on the paper or they will stick. The only negative I have was the service. The service was not the best that day or I just didn't have the right person. My server didn't speak much English and could not really recommend anything. Also never checked up on me. I hate to leave this great information that I'm about to do because now everybody's gonna wanna come to this place!!!! (and it's going to be jam packed. ) However, this was the best Asian dumpling house find in years !! if you have not been to this place you need to go there it is absolutely awesome. I would put this up against Din Tai Fung any day (the national chain. ) The service was super fast, super friendly, and the ambience in there was great with a great vibe, very attentive, managers, and service all around and now for the food....... Absolutely outstanding !!!! here are some pictures to take a look at. I highly recommend this place. Easy to get in easy to get out not a long wait , but busy enough to where it felt comfortable . it's nooked away next to the mall by the Best Buy TJ Maxx area next to the Buford mall I will eat there several times a year !! Located across from mall of ga in the target shopping center. Service was fantastic. Went for lunch. Quickly seated and we had a few questions and our server was very helpful and also suggested some great items. I got the spicy chicken noodle soup and the chicken soup dumplings. Both tasted AMAZING! Yummy!!! Went with a group of 7 and we got seated right away. Once your order is completed, the food will be sent via a robot, with a server there to assist with the dishes. The food can out pretty quickly and the portion of the food was big (fried rice and noodle dishes). The soup dumplings were pretty delicious also. Would definitely recommend if you like dumplings, noodles and dim sum. read more

I had no idea this place existed until I saw it on a TikTok and had to try it. The wait staff was incredibly friendly. There was a bit of a wait but not much. When I saw this had opened I was super excited! They have Dim Sum! I have always wanted to try that. And dumplings??? The masters of dumplings. Heck yeah! I took my kids to try it out. Wow was I disappointed. Everything we got was basically the equivalent to frozen dumplings. Everything was priced ok but the quality was soooooo mediocre. And Dim Sum? I didn't see any of that . I was quite shocked at the quality of the dumplings here, especially the authentic flavors of the crab & pork xiaolongbao and the pork shengjianbao. Not too oily or overseasoned. Their stir fried noodles had the perfect texture and are loaded with beef. The house chili oil is delicious. However, I feel that the wontons with chili oil needed more garlic flavor. They are in soft opening, so I'm giving them some slack. Brand new, modern spot with beautiful natural lighting. Attentive service and robot food delivery. Went in on New Year's Day. I ordered a mango smoothie and mango popping boba with shen jian bao. It was delicious! It was warm, flavorful, a bit crunchy from the pan fry but soft and chewy. So juicy you have to be careful it doesnt shoot out. Brought my son back in the evening same day with 4 friends and EVERYONE loved every flavor boba ordered (mango, & strawberry). Ordered chicken fried rice and an assortment of dumplings including edamame that was gone in seconds. Waiter recommended the cucumber salad appetizer and it was a hit. Try it! You will love it. Food was reasonably priced. It was very clean inside and all servers were extremely friendly. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to the Cumming, GA location opening soon. read more

Dumpling Master... All this hype and it didn't really deliver. First off, it's self-serve you grab your own silverware, water, and napkins, which gave me cafeteria vibes. The soup dumplings? Dry. Like... where did the soup even go?? Chow fun? Also dry. Fried rice was fine, but the real MVP was the wonton noodle soup that one actually hit the spot. Bonus points: free boba tea for everyone (and it was solid). And I'll admit, watching them fold dumplings right in front was pretty cool. Just wish they tasted as good as they looked. read more

Ate here twice so far since I enjoyed it the first time. Quaint little place but not too small with a good balance of tables and booths. They initially bring out water but you'll have to ask for ice. I think it's an Asian thing about not caring for ice in their drinks. The hot and sour soup is good but it's a bit more sour compared to pretty much any type soup I've had at other restaurants. Also they give a good size bowl where most Chinese places give what I consider small portions. The spring rolls are good and both times I've had them I noticed that they didn't seem to be overly greasy which is nice. I had veggie dumplings the first time and mapo tufu this most recent time. Again both were good and might try the soup dumplings next time. The location is next to Honey Baked Ham in the center with Best Buy, Target, and Staples. I'm pretty sure it's where the Brazilian restaurant was. read more

Ordered a take out. Took forever! While waiting the area is clean and they have a cool robot delivering food to tables who are waiting. Food came out in an awesome take out bag...the soup dumplings were amazing and the fried dumplings were good as well. More like Dumpling Apprentice.....Exceptionally slow service, bland stir fry, underwhelming dumplings. The place looks and feels unfinished from the construction to the concept of the restaurant itself. The gimmicky robot waiter slows the service down even more, especially when it delivers the wrong order to your table. "Appetizers" either come with your entree or at the very end of your meal. read more

The seating is a bit limited, but we easily grabbed a table on a Saturday night! You order through a website using the QR code at the table and a robot brings your food out to you. We ordered beef noodle soup, chow fun, shrimp shumai and hot and sour soup. The noodle dishes were especially tasty, with the beef noodle soup being very rich in flavor and spices! The shumai were plump but not as flavorful. I think I may have to get a different type of dumpling next time. Overall I think our experience here was okay, but the price point is higher than other places I've been. read more

Scallion pancakes is crispy on the outside and flavor is good. Shanghai fried noodles is delicious; best of the 3 we ordered. Mango smoothies is average. I hate to leave a bad review, but Dumpling Master was really disappointing. I wasn't expecting gourmet but my orange chicken tasted like particle board nuggets and the dumplings were rubbery with no taste. Also they got my order wrong and I had to ask twice for the dumplings to be brought out. I will say the restaurant was full so others must like it. read more

This will be a first and last time visit! We ordered wonton soup, beef chow fun, crab meat soup dumpling, pork & Shrimp Siu Mai, and pork Shen Jian Bao to try if it was worth coming back, and it was a major fail! The beef chow fun was plain, but tolerable but when they brought out the pork shen jian bao? I should have known it looked funny because when I picked it up with my chopsticks it was softer than usual and after I ate it because I was so hungry from fasting all day, I felt weird. Had dinner at Dumpling Master tonight. My mom and I shared the crab and pork soup dumplings and the shrimp Shanghai noodles. We usually have leftovers but we enjoyed and finished everything. This is some of the worse Asian food I've ever eaten. The fried rice was TERRIBIE!! The hot and sour soup was like nothing we've ever seen...with tomatoes??! The szchewan chicken was the oddest of all...spicy yet felt cool on the pallet. If there is anything to order the pan fried dumplings weren't terrible. Several dishes we had had canned CORN in them...a real first! The restaurant itself is very sterile and the servers we had were odd. There is certainly not an Asian master in this place. Food was yummy and service was fast & friendly. We had the pork soup dumpling, scallion pancake, pan fried pork & chive dumpling, chili oil dumplings, cucumber salad, and shrimp shumai. My favorites were the cucumber salad, scallion pancakes, and fried dumpling because of how crispy they all were. The soup dumplings all had a good amount of broth. I saw some reviews about corn in their dumplings, but none of the food we ordered had corn. read more

The food took forever to come for to go order and I only ordered two dumplings yet bigger orders after me were getting completed first. It wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. The bubble tea tasted off and honestly was not good at all. When we first walked in, we weren't greeted properly and were confused on what to do or where to go. The server also didn't talk to us properly and kinda talked to us like we are dumb so that's why we decided to do to go as well. Not to mention, the whole place was dirty and even our sitting area was dirty and food on the ground. They weren't cleaning up after other parties. There also wasn't any AC! So extremely hot. I typically will Give credit where it's due and tend not to give bad reviews but I was not impressed at all. I would not recommend. read more

Seats about 70 people and it looks like it's just a tacked on extension of Volcano sushi/Hibachi. Now let's talk food. They give you a paper menu and you look at the items and you put a number on how many servings you want. Serving sizes vary like the Shumai gives 4 peices while the soup dumplings are 3 so if you put "2" down for the soup dumplings, you'll get 6 total dumplings. Some things are great, others are horrid. I decided on a few popular items. Everything is pork based save for the beef short ribs. The Hong Kong style meatball, the soup dumplings, the chive and pork, the wontons, the shumai; all pork based and some combined shrimp with it. I don't know what it is but there is a window where things are great piping hot and once it hits a cooling point, it just sucks. That being said, order one item at a time, eat it hot, and quick because cold pork/shrimp shumai just doesn't cut it. There was also the Chou Zhu or something that had a distasteful flavor and texture. The Hong Kong style meatball also had a very off putting flavor. Everything that was shrimp based left a bad taste in my mouth and things sat real heavy. The Tonkatsu ramen was delicious and the lo mein was extremely flavorful to be fair. I did like the soup dumplings but I wish they had more soup. It's definitely one to visit just once to get that all you can eat experience but that's it. Your best bet can be to find an a la carte dim sum place or play it all you can eat one at a time

The restaurant is very authentic, and we were clearly in the minority as guests, but that should never justify such poor service. Sadly, our five-year tradition of spending Christmas here was completely ruined. If you decide to visit this restaurant, be aware that the service can be extremely disappointing.
