I've only had delivery but I've ordered six times in the past month. Dim sum by delivery is NOT going to be as hot etc as served in a restaurant. Just DEAL with it and delight in the fact that one may order dim sum by delivery! Spicy cucumber salad -- excellent. Truly spicy. Garlic string beans. I think they are "fusion" because they were sautéed in butter. Okay by me. Also very good. Shrimp and spinach dumplings. Yes. Order more. Vegetable spinach dumplings. Could use more water chestnuts but a great veggie dish. I will order again. My two real stand outs have been these two: Pork and veggie bun. It's fried but instead of the usual BBQ pork filling it's minced pork with shredded cabbage. Absolutely a knock out. Great combination in the bun. Shrimp/leek steamed dumpling. We got the following items: XLB: juicy and good Wonton in Chilli Sauce: Delicious but not spicy enough for me Turnip: standard. Nice crisp on the outside and flavorful on the inside. Green Beans: This tasted pretty Americanized to me but I ordered it so I'll eat it. Shu Mai: standard, nothing too special to me but good shu mais. Fried Sesame Balls: standard It's a straight forward dumpling place with dumplings and some side dishes. It's a small restaurant and the staff was quite friendly. Everything is "just a little unexpected" in some way, like the filling might have some ingredient you don't usually see. Got a few items. Cream custard bun. The yolk inside is runny! Didn't expect that, so I spilled some on my pants :( It's great though. The soup dumplings are not as unctuous as I've had, and come in tiny muffins tins. Ordering is completely via their scan code menu. Restroom is clean. I like to use soup paddles for soup dumplings, which were not on offer. But, it was tasty and fresh. Everything I tried was so good, I wish I lived in the area just so I could keep coming back. Also everything is very decently priced, especially for being near the city. The Noodles came with a huge portion and it was perfect to split between two people. We split all three plates family style and both of us left full and satisfied. The Noodles had a generous amount of sauce that coated every noodle perfectly. The Chili Wontons (pork and shrimp) and XLB (pork) were packed full of filling and the dumpling skin was the perfect texture and thickness. I thought the Wontons weren't that spicy, despite the one fire sign next to it, but it still tasted great nonetheless. The vegetarian pot stickers and spinach dumplings tasted great, but also not very filling. My favorite dish was the pan fried vegetable and meat buns that have a fried bun texture on the outside with juicy meat and vegetables on the inside. The Xiao long bao were good, but not the best I've had. The best Xiao long bao is when it burns your mouth from the soup being hot, but this was not the case for these Xiao long bao. They're very new so maybe they're still working things out but overall I had a pretty good experience here. The XLB is not as good as Din Tai Fung, but not bad! I would pass on the green beans. I would highly recommend getting the scallion pancake, XLB, Truffle XLB, the shrimp & leek dumpling and end it off with the chili sauce wonton. The truffle XLB is so good (with the black dumpling case) and just the perfect truffle amount to make your taste buds jumping. I was immediately brushed off and assured that they were working on it Another 15 minutes passed and I again checked on my order and was rudely dismissed assuring me that they heard me and it was on its way.
