Omg yes. Idk what their sauce is for their cucumber salad, but it is so good. Black bean and chili? Got the pork steamed dumplings as well. A bit too salty and I wish there was more filling, but still great l. Human chicken was also good, but the sauce had a bit too much starch in it. Customer service was superb. Ugh I'm still dreaming about the sauce in that cucumber salad!

I think I may have died and gone to heaven when I stopped in here. The crab soup healed me in a way I didn't think soup could heal me in! The meat was perfectly cooked, fell apart as soon as you touched it with the chopsticks, literal perfection! The dumplings were delicious, so warm and stuffed with amazing fresh ingredients. The crab rangoons are some of the best I've had in a while (I say this as a crab Rangoon enthusiast). They were crispy but not hard and full of real crab! The cucumbers were crispy and sweet, with a perfect snap! Our server was quick with our orders and answered any questions we had with enthusiasm! It's a laid back shop, nothing fancy, but WOW is it a great bite!

My first time here. Big menu selection. Plenty of free parking. Quick, friendly service. I had the Steamed Pork Dumplings. Very nice and filling. Highly recommend. Bring a friend.

I was impressed by all the positive reviews, so I was really excited to try Dumpling Empire! It did not disappoint! They have a large menu and we decided to try a few different items. The service was great and prompt with getting orders and bringing items out. I have never had buns and the menu was comprehensive with a description of each item. We got the Takoyaki appetizer and holy moly it was hot. I recommend poking them with a chopstick to let out some of the steam before you bite into it. We got the tri colored soup buns and the chili oil wanton soup for main dishes. They were both really flavorful. I added some of the sauce provided on the table for the buns and it was even better! I also got to try a little of the pork belly bun and it was delicious with a soft bao bun. The overall vibe of the restaurant was very casual but warm. There were several items I was scouting on the menu and checking out on others' tables, so we will be back to try more!

Dumpling Empire is a GREAT pit stop while you're in the Omaha area! They have everything you could want from an Asian restaurant! The staff was great, they sat us in a corner so not to bother anyone with our little guest joining us @ 4 mo old, they were helpful, warm courteous, and prompt. The dumplings came out rather quickly, and plates came roughly around the same time. The food was hot, very good, and authentic. Our soup dumplings were some of the best I've had in a long while, the sesame balls were scrumptious and I recommend both! The crab rangoon was incredibly fresh, the shells were still crunchy the next day after sitting in the fridge. While not normally a fan of them, these were delish, definite recommendation. The interior was bustling! Different types from all walks here for scrumptious dumplings. It was pretty busy for a Saturday night, most tables were filled. Very clean place. Reasonably priced, warm staff, amazing soup dumplings, and good location!

I was running errands in the area and had heard about this place so I decided to check it out! I had been to the eye doc earlier in the day but the lack of near vision could not keep me from seeing the mouth watering menu and finding some interesting items! I started with the cucumber salad. The size and make up of this plate caught me completely off guard! I don't know what I was expecting but somehow I didn't expect sliced up cucumbers in chili sauce . Frankly, that was probably my favorite item of the day. It was so refreshing and not spicy in the least bit (to me anyway). Next was the chili oil pork noodles. Coming out of the kitchen, it lacked any sort of spice so I needed a lot more chili oil. It was good before and after my alteration. It was perfect for a cool day. The broth was perfect and light. The chili oil clung to the noodles perfectly. Service was quick and attentive. I was sat as soon as I walked in and my order was taken shortly after I indicated I was ready. I'll need to come with more than just me to fully take advantage of the menu offerings here next time!

It was so so so good! Our waiter was so friendly. Service was impeccable. I had the steamed pork dumplings and the chili oil wonton. Both were delicious! I can't wait to go back! 5 stars for sure!

Awesome spot on 72nd! Been here a few times and this is a great place for grabbing a warm meal. My favorite is the steamed pork dumplings, as well as the wonton soup. This last time I tried the crab leg soup which was a special, and it was also fantastic. One of my favorite appetizers is the cucumber salad...it is mixed in a spicy sauce that is incredible to use for dipping the dumplings or wonton in as well...I order this with every meal and it never disappoints.

First thing that I noticed is, the music is loud. We were greeted and seated immediately. I ordered the hot black tea and was kinda surprised that it was simply Lipton. The black tea was hot, but it didn't have much flavor at all. The wife's Hot green tea was much better. The Chicken Fried rice was delicious and there was plenty of it too. The Braised beef was served cold, I had never had it that way. The oil it was in was super good. I'm not sure that I am a fan of the cold beef dish. The dumplings were awesome and I highly recommend them. The service was lackluster and almost uncomfortable. There wasn't much of a drink selection. I will wait a bit to return.

This place is small and you barely know it's there from the outside. But people are usually waiting around. We went in with another couple and the smell got to us. We were seated and ordered dumplings of course, Rangoon's, cucumber salad, and a few other things. I will get the cucumber salad every time I go because it was so flavorful and tasty. Nothing was disappointing. Everything was delicious and so fresh. They bring things out as they're done cooking, which is nice because everyone gets hot food. We dug right in so some of the food in the pictures is half eaten, but that shows how great it was. Now I know why this place is so popular and will have to come back to try other Things on the menu.

Very happy to say today was back to 5 stars! Service was absolutely amazing and food was outstanding! We had the cucumber salad which is a serious flavor bomb! So good! Had vegetable fried rice , Kung pao tofu, and scallion pancake. Everything was delicious!

It was my first time visiting this place and we were all excited to try a Chinese dim sum place. Overall, it was good. We ordered the steamed and pan fried pork dumplings, chili oil flat noodles, pork buns, kung pao chicken, and eggplant salad. We all really liked the flat noodles and kung pao chicken. The pork buns had a slightly different taste than what I was used to. The bun part was soft, but had a slightly fermented taste. Service was quick and the place was nice to take your family. Noise level was low and the place got filled pretty quickly during lunch hours.

Very little crab flavor, and its texture was damn near close to ricotta cheese but they were DELISH! Anyone else save the corners for a little texture in their next dish? No? Just me? Yall, I am telling you... their Peanut Butter Chicken was PHENOMENAL, and definitely have some real peanut on board. MUCH appreciated that. Their breading to chicken was by far, near perfection. More protein than breading is always a win-win in my book... it was like little puffs of breading, versus cakey/battery. Comes with your choice of steamed or fried rice, egg drop soup or hot and sour soup. Their Hot and Sour was SO good, with just the right amount of tofu. Highly recommended either honestly. Now the Sesame Chicken? Dare say I should've gotten that dish? It too, was AMAZING. Especially with those warm green peppers, onion, rich brown sauce that has just the right amount of garlic that made me ask kindly, with doey eyes, for a second piece off my husbands plate. SO good! We brought home a good amount for left overs tomorrow; assuming they last till midnight... We must've gotten in at the right time, because she was BUSYYYY with maybe 3 of the 15 (I could be completely off!) tables. Staff didn't just stick to one table, they were definitely tag teaming and that was neat to watch them work so well. We got checked on a few times and they're attentive as heck! We will DEFINITELY be back to try some of that Garlic Chicken and Cashew Chicken, extra cashews.

Some ghost kitchens can be pretty good, depending…read moreon which brick and mortar restaurant they're run out of - and I think that formula shows here too (in not a good way). I was cautiously optimistic because I like bao buns, so I gave this a shot. I ordered a few things to make sure I liked at least something: -Spicy Mongolian Beef Bao: This was my favorite thing I got. It was a nice little soft bun filled with a tangy beef mixture. It wasn't too spicy, so don't let the name scare you off. Just a little twinge of heat, but mostly for flavor and not blasting you out of the room with spiciness. -Teriyaki Chicken Bao: I usually love teriyaki chicken, but I didn't love it in this bao bun. The mixture inside was overly sweet and there was no other flavor to cut down on the cloying flavor. I tried dipping it in the provided soy sauce, but it didn't help very much, so I sort of gave up on this one. -Spicy Kung Pao Chicken Bowl: This was a nutty mixture of toppings with little bits of chicken, all over a big hunk of white rice. The chicken was good and packed a little punch of heat. The rice below was ok for a while, but it ended up not being super flavorful once all the meat and toppings were eaten. Maybe it was a little too much rice to mix with the small amount of toppings provided. -Ginger Chicken Potstickers: These were pretty flavorful and they did not skimp on the filling. The crimped spots holding the potstickers closed was a little bit too crispy (I like them to be a little crispy, but this was on the verge of burnt and hard.) All the items I ordered (including a $3 soda) totaled about $30 before tip, just to give you an idea. The packaging was done well and branded with the Wow Bao logo, which was nice when so many other ghost kitchens just use the host restaurant's packaging/containers. One thing I will note, though, is that the bao buns have a little paper underneath them that says what the flavor is, so you can tell which is which - but that paper sort of sticks to the bun, so be sure you take that off (it's a little hard to remove!) I'd say if you're craving delivery bao buns or rice bowls, this is an okay choice - but I'd recommend a few others (non ghost kitchens) before this one.
