We've been to Sabaidee a few times for date night and it never disappoints. I am not exaggerating when I say I have loved everything I have ordered from here. We stopped in on a weeknight around 5pm and there were a few other groups dining. There are about 15 tables, but we have never waited for a table when we've visited. We got the shrimp in a blanket for an appetizer and it was warm and crunchy. Served with a sweet dipping sauce for that sweet and savory combo. For my entree I had Guae Thyeo Haing at spice level 4. The waitress explained it was more of a sweet and sour dish. I was apprehensive as I tend to enjoy more savory, but after she explained everything I was excited to try something new. I loved it! I've ordered three different entrees here and all of them have been incredible. I always sample my partner's food as well, and I'm starting to think you can't order wrong. Seriously, it's that good! I typically go to Saibaidee for their soups which I love, but I decided to try something new this visit and ordered the Yam Naem Kao Tod. It was loaded with flavor and crunchy bites with spice as I ordered level 4 spice. The lettuce leaf gives a refreshing bit to the dish. I had an order of shrimps in a blanket to start, the shrimp were huge and the wraps were perfectly crispy! Recently opened restaurant in the Twincreek shopping area. Occupies the storefront that formerly held Dickies Barbecue. Not overly large, only a total of 10 tables/booths and one waitress on the floor to cover it all. Menu is fairly extensive and the food is reasonably priced. Wife and I went with veggie egg rolls to start. 4 come out as a serving. Nice and crunchy with decent flavor. We then went with Pad Thai for our entrees. She had tofu and I had shrimp. You pick your spice level from 0 to 5. She went with a 2 and I got a 3. We both got a little spice and it was suitable for us. Portions were sufficient to have leftovers. Waitress was friendly. As a Thai food enthusiast, I truly enjoyed the chili oil fried rice (spicy level: 1), along with the mango boba. I tried my friend's mango sticky rice and it reminded me so much of some of my favorite spots from California. The waitress was so sweet and checked in on us often. If you haven't been to Sabaidee Thai Lao Cuisine yet, put it on your to-do list. I ordered the Pad See Ew, which they make with fresh homemade wide rice noodles that blew me away! I feel like most restaurants use Pad Thai noodles in their Pad See Ew (which is fine), so having these homemade wide rice noodles really made a difference. Hubby ordered stir-fry vegetables with chicken, and we also got an order of egg rolls. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! Our server was nice and attentive, and our food arrived in a timely manner. The thai tea that I had was full of bold flavor and was sooooo yummy! Came on a New Years Day which was a shortened day for them. One server, potentially owner, offered polite and prompt service. Both meals were hot; beef pho and beef salad. My favorite was the clear sweet and spicy sauce offered in the containers on the table. They also had bottles of sauce to make your dish perfect for you. Prices were around $12-$16 per dish. I have been here multiple times and I usually have a great experience overall! What I think stands out the most about this Thai place compared to others in the Omaha area are the homemade noodles in various dishes. I tried the drunken noodles today which were very flavorful and the texture of the homemade noodles are so delicious compared to other restaurants. My husband always gets one of their soup dishes with homemade noodles as well and loves the homemade noodles. Their chicken egg rolls are also some of the best in the area and we always get them! Service is typically prompt, depending on how busy they are and their staffing. We usually rotate eating at a couple different Thai places in Omaha/Bellevue area and this place is definitely in our rotation! read more

We ordered the spring rolls with a side of peanut sauce and will order it again. We also ordered the green curry with a spice level of 3 and red curry with tofu and a spice level of 0. Both were served with rice and we will probably order the same again next time, although I would like to try a few of the noodle dishes. The sticky rice was served in a nice basket but we will probably not order it again. I ordered a Thai tea with coconut milk and it was good, but there was so much ice that I drank most of it before my meal was served. Service was excellent. This restaurant opened about a week or so ago, so I'll definitely be giving them another shot in the future. But they do have some kinks to work out. When we arrived, there were only 2 other tables, yet it still took 45 minutes to get our food. We ordered the Egg Roll appetizer, Drunken Noodles with Chicken, Massaman Curry with Chicken, Chili Paste Oil Fried Rice with Shrimp, and Beef Jerky. Two of our entrees came out, then our appetizer, and then two more entrees. We received the Fried Rice with Chicken instead of Shrimp, it was still delicious despite not being a spice level 3 like we asked - there was no spice at all. The Drunken Noodles were also quite good flavor wise, but those drunken noodles were extremely "drunk" as in they were absolute mush. I also feel that was a very small plate for $13 and again, where's the spice? The Massaman Curry with Chicken was amazing - handsdown all of our favorites and nicely spicy at level 3. The Beef Jerky... all I can say is, just don't. It wasn't bad per se, but it also wasn't great and that is a tiny plate for $16. Egg rolls were standard but nice and crispy! And there sweet Chile sauce was amazing! Then we ordered the yellow curry and pad thai. When it's your frist time ordering at a new restaurant, you have to order the basics. We ordered the yellow curry and pad thai! The yellow curry was soo good. I just ate the curry with a spoon. Then the pad thai was out of this world. It was sweet and spicy. The chicken was soo tender. With every bite you could taste this beautiful creation. This will deffintly be our go to restaurant. And the waitress answered all of my questions. And was soo kind. You know the food was bomb when you forgot to take photos of the main course! We are Bellevue locals and spotted a new Thai Laos place open up in the Twin Creek area. For locals it's where Dickeys used to be next to Papa John's. The food is amazing, a home cooked, warm, and filling meal! The Thai iced tea was not too sweet and flavorful. I got the shrimp spring rolls, you have the option of imitation crab as well. They provided two sauces, a peanut sauce and vinegar and chili sauce (I think). Both sauces were amazing with the spring rolls. I will definitely be back for this. I ordered that pad see ew with chicken. For me not so spicy folks just get a 0 lol. I got a two and it was a lot stronger of a kick than I thought, but still enjoyable! The service was great, quick and friendly. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Upon first arriving, someone brought us ice water. Every single glass (5) had weird floaties. We sent back and got fresh. 3 of the 5 had floaties again. Service was quite slow. Our waitress was so kind, smiling, attentive and professional....I ordered a "3" in spice level, and for a 1-5 range, I thought they did a 3 just perfect. The beef was tender and plentiful. The atmosphere presents well--its nice....loved that the ambient air temperature was not cold to sit and enjoy a meal---so many other places keep their dining rooms just cold enough to let you know not to hang around after the meal....but not this place! Perfect temps...and again the atmosphere was nice too. Gentle music playing that wasn't loud.....had I sat there with my eyes closed....except for the smell of food, would have thought I was in a nice spa or somewhere comfortable! Keep it up Sabaidee! Visited this establishment after seeing some comments on a local foodie Facebook page. Went for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and it was poppin. Just one server managed all the tables and she did it wonderfully. Ordered egg rolls, pad thai, and sweet and sour chicken. Will be branching out and trying more adventurous food the next time we go! The food here is great but the service is lacking. Placed an order for pickup and it was over 30 minutes late.

I ordered a takeout order for 5 entrees, 1 soup and 1 appetizer online. I arrived 10 minutes after the time my order was stated to be ready. When I arrived, the server said they were running behind and it would be 10 minutes before my order was ready. I waited 25 minutes in the restaurant for takeout until my order was ready. I was basically lied to when I arrived about the timing of my order. I suggest calling your patrons to let them know that a takeout order would not near be ready on time, and give them a realistic expected time. The takeout order was in total 35 minutes late. Nothing was offered while I was waiting, not even water. The food is mediocre. I would not order from here again. read more

Received our waters and politely said thank you. Time to order, the waitress proceeded to the party of 4 first and I'm confused why. My husband and I went there tonight for dinner. It's a cute little place, it was clean and the staff were friendly. We had the spinach egg rolls. They were nice and crispy with good flavor. My husband had the Pad Mee with beef and I had the Pineapple Fried Rice. We didn't get any spice since this was our first time and we wanted to check out the flavor of the food. Wonderful Thai food, I got the red curry with shrimp, spice level 2 absolutely delicious. I would, however get the spice level three next time because I like it spicy. My husband had the basil stirfry with chicken also a level two. He did spice it up with the condiments on the table. We also had the eggrolls, which are wonderfully crunchy.
