I have also come here throughout the years with friends, and they are normally very fast even when it is very busy! The place isn't very big, so there isn't much seating. For the past 10 years, I've been getting the same drink. I've tried different ones here and there, having tried all of the drinks on the milky menu. I decided to try something new and got the tiger latte. It was soooo good. It has a taste similar to coffee. The staff are always really friendly and the inside is so cool. There is paid street parking and a parking garage. If you take your garage ticket to thirst tea and get it validated by the cashier, your parking will be free! Always a delicious experience. Today we stuck with just a snack after school. I got a Yoshi onigiri (kani/crab and seaweed) for the first time. My go to is usually the kimchi one. This was a pleasant alternative and definitely will get again. My youngest got the seaweed onigiri and enjoys the kick from the house sauce that comes with each one. My oldest decided on the avocado onigiri today. It did its job convincing him something different is actually wonderful sometimes and converted him into an onigiri lover even asking for a second one. Prices are decent for what they offer. The vibe is always chill when we come even when they had a line out the door. Today was a small crowd of just us as the previous customers left. So it was natural that during our brief visit to Omaha that we would stop by and grab one to go before heading back to Chicago on our road trip. This spot is huge and clean. It looks like a great place for folks to come and study when other coffee shops become too packed to accommodate them. There were four people working in the back taking our orders and making our drinks. We honestly had our reservations given that this is Nebraska. But Thirst-Tea blew us away with its quality tea and chewy boba. I was a huge fan of their Oolong Milk Tea as it had the a great mix of both without being too sugary. The boba was very soft, and depending on your preference, can really be a good thing. Even after 30 minutes of getting my drink, it was still good! Went here around 1pm on a Sunday. There were 2 other groups in front of us. The service was quick. Decent vibe. It prob didn't help that the seating was basically non-existent (thanks to covid I'm sure). Both drinks with tax was under $10. I got the large D5 which is a dark lychee with aloe jelly. The dark is with black tea. A light would be with green tea. My bf got the M5 which is a regular size milky taro with boba. Both were really good. His milky taro with boba was particularly excellent. Boba (bubble tea) isn't really a thing I ever find myself craving, so I'm by no means an authority on the topic. That said, there's something whimsical about the fat straw and small balls of tapioca that you just have to love. And if you love boba, you've likely already been here, since Thirst-Tea is Omaha's only dedicated bubble tea shop... at the time of this writing. Bonus that you get to stare at a giant fruit mural while snacking and sipping. Definitely a kid-friendly spot as well. Boba is essentially made for kids (or kids at heart). The store front is clean, clear & plenty outdoor seating ...best of all, a quaint little park across the street I ordered an item NOT on the menu: avocado slushee and they were gracious enough to make one anyway. I've been to Thirst-Tea so many times, yet never thought to review it until today?! Bad Elite Yelper, bad! Thirst-Tea is located on the edge of Midtown, before hitting downtown. They are located behind a busy street, in a trendy little complex of restaurants and bars. Parking is limited, and also metered..although it is free on the weekends, which of course is the busiest time in the area! Thirst-Tea has an extensive menu of boba teas-from unique blends, to the usual suspects, to delicious milky teas. They also have a limited menu of snacks-gyoza, Chinese crullers drenched in condensed milk (SO GOOD!) edamame, etc. I've only sampled the crullers from the menu, the rest I will have to try at another time. Normally I come here to grab teas and then leave..but mentally have made the note to check out the rest of the food offerings! Since it's so popular and has a limited staff, wait times can be anywhere from 5 mins to 20/25ish. There is almost always a line snaking its way from the door to the back near the restrooms. So be aware of this if you are on a time crunch! It picks up from midday all the way to close, with weekends being the absolute busiest. I am a creature of comfort, and always get Thai tea with extra boba. The Thai tea is smooth, creamy, and a cheerful bright orange. It is one of only two drinks on the menu that are not vegan as it is made with half/half instead of the coconut creamer they use in the other drinks. So vegans, keep that in mind! It's a mild, light flavor and is very refreshing. The bobas are chewy and delicious, and add a fun texture to the drink. Love it! Prices are pretty average-they have two sizes, regular and large, and prices range from $3.25-$4.75 depending on your order. This is a bi weekly indulgence for me, but it can get costly if you visit often! Thirst-tea is a great place to grab drinks, snacks, and either hang out inside if you can snag a table or take them outside to enjoy the fresh air on the patio area. Give it a shot! read more

They do offer food, but I've never seen anyone order any. On the Tea Menu, you're got two different types : Fruity Teas and Milk Teas. You can get either type with or without boba. First time I went in, I got a Hawaiian Sunset with Boba and I loved it. It was fruity, sweet and really refreshing! I also got an Island Twist later and loved it just as much. Last week I tried a milk tea and the cashier recommended doing boba with it. I liked the flavor of the milk tea a lot, but I dislike the texture of the Boba with it! Next time is try a milk tea, I won't be trying it with Boba. If you're coming in for the Tea, you might just need to try around a bit to find what you like. The peachee tea was really good. Probably my favorite! My milky coconut boba was good but I guess I'm so used to it having some more ice in it for a colder drink. That's the only thing I would change. Service is great. Pick out s colorful straw. And the workers seemed genuinely interested in how our day is going and what brought us to town. (whaaa?? One last try for bubble tea on our roadtrip from MN to CO! We were happily surprised that this cute place in Omaha beat the 3 shops we tried in Denver/Boulder. This bubble tea is made with real tea and powdered creamer. Real tea makes the difference! There is a little odd flavor from the powdered creamer. They have a good selection of toppings including pudding, grass jelly, aloe and popping pearls. Not sure? Ask to sample a tooping. We both opted for jasmine milk tea, so I can't speak for the flavored options. Boba was perfectly squishy! Pudding was ok (had an aftertaste). We also tried the takoyaki and seaweed onigiri.
