Omg yes. Idk what…read moretheir sauce is for their cucumber salad, but it is so good. Black bean and chili? Got the pork steamed dumplings as well. A bit too salty and I wish there was more filling, but still great l. Human chicken was also good, but the sauce had a bit too much starch in it. Customer service was superb. Ugh I'm still dreaming about the sauce in that cucumber salad!

The staff was great, they sat us in a corner so not to bother anyone with our little guest joining us @ 4 mo old, they were helpful, warm courteous, and prompt. The dumplings came out rather quickly, and plates came roughly around the same time. The food was hot, very good, and authentic. Our soup dumplings were some of the best I've had in a long while, the sesame balls were scrumptious and I recommend both! The crab rangoon was incredibly fresh, the shells were still crunchy the next day after sitting in the fridge. While not normally a fan of them, these were delish, definite recommendation. The interior was bustling! Different types from all walks here for scrumptious dumplings. It was pretty busy for a Saturday night, most tables were filled. Very clean place. Reasonably priced, warm staff, amazing soup dumplings, and good location!

Get your sui mai and har gow fix any day of the week. There is a dumpling with pork and peanuts in the middle, which is unique to Grand Fortune, but super delicious! The Secret Chinese menu has the wide rice noodle dish, special roasted duck, pork in fermented black bean sauce and other authentic Chinese dishes you can't find in Omaha. Heard from a Chinese Food influencer, and I whole heartedly agree, Chinese restaurants should have a 3 - 3.5 star rating. Raters should talk about the "rude" service, but talk about the good food. Here, the service is given by people of Chinese Heritage who were raised to be efficient, focus on the task (take order bring food) and not be icky-sweet and waste time. This is that place. The waitstaff is on task - take order bring food. There is no fluff. I got served freshly made hot food that I really enjoy. I am rating on the food and the traditional Chinese service.

Nothing special to…read morewrite about the dine in portion since I think most of their customers are "to go" orders or delivery. The bao were good, but nothing spectacular. I'll try the other items on their menu if we ever get a chance to come back.

Each and every time, it has been consistently delicious and affordable! The ambiance when eating in is very colorful and fun. The staff we interacted with were all great about any questions we had or recommendations we asked for. We started with the Pork Potstickers. They were juicy and full of meat (no skimping, here!) that was perfectly cooked, along with plenty of sauce for dipping. Another starter we tried as the Dumpling Soup that comes inside a dumpling and gooshes out when you cut into it. The soup inside was salty and delicious, and I loved the style it was served in. Our last starter was the Beijing Noodle Soup. It came with Asian noodles, minced bits of pork, and lots of shredded veggies. It reminded me of a few other ramens I've had, but with a twist on it, as the meat was minced so it was a lot easier to have a bit of the meat in each bite/slurp! After our starters and soups, we obviously had to get a few bao buns each - I think we probably tried all of them when all was said and done. They have both steamed and fried bao buns, and we tried both. They definitely had a different texture than each other, but I liked them both; they were just different styles. My favorite was the pork fried bao bun. I liked the chicken and the beef steamed options too, but the pork seemed to work best as the protein along with the fried bao texture. Everything we had on our first visit (and that I've had in my subsequent orders) has been absolutely delicious and cooked expertly - so I don't think you can go wrong with anything you try!

The Grand China Buffet is super close to our house and we hadn't been there in a long time, so…read moredecided to pop in recently. It is pretty inexpensive, but unfortunately, you definitely get what you pay for in that respect. The decor is pretty cute, with little Pixiu dragons outside the entrance, high vaulted ceilings in the dining area letting lots of natural light in, and murals of different Chinese cities. But what really matters is the food when you're there for a meal, and the offerings were pretty standard, but nothing to write home about or plan a return visit. At any buffet, I like to get a small amount of each thing I'd like to try, instead of one large plate of one entree (I would go to non-buffet option for that). I started with a few appetizer style items: -Corn: This tasted like canned corn that you'd have at home, so a little disappointing. -Lo Mein: Okay for lo mein noodles, but pretty dry. I mixed this with some of the sauce of the proteins I got, so that helped. -Crab Rangoon: Not the best Rangoon I've ever had, but I did like the shape (little flower bud style) and the thinner consistency of the wonton. -Pork Bao: I was excited for this, but it ended up being very doughy with one tiny sliver of the Pork inside. For the entrees, I had small portions of a handful of them: -Black Pepper Chicken: This was actually pretty tasty and flavorful with the pepperiness. -Pepper Steak: This was similar to the Black Pepper Chicken, but it was a non-breaded style like the chicken had been so a different consistency. -Peanut Butter Chicken: One of my go-to favorites when I go to Chinese restaurants. This one was pretty dry and crispy so not the best texture of flavor I've had for this dish. -Broccoli Chicken: Another of my favorites usually, and this one wasn't terrible. The brown sauce was nice and the chicken was pretty juicy. -General Tso Chicken: I think this was my favorite of the entrees I tried. It had the sweetness along with a slight spice, so it wasn't a one-note flavor or too sweet, like some can be. And then for the dessert options, there were a few hits and misses: -The fried donuts were amazing, but you HAVE to eat them when they are hot and fresh. They become hard as a rock if you let them get cold. -There was a dark chocolate cake, that was the driest thing I had ever put in my mouth. I don't recommend that cake. -They had a cooler with Blue Bunny ice cream, and you can't go wrong with that. -There was an eclair style cake that was pretty dry so I wouldn't recommend that either. -Coconut Cake: I don't even like coconut usually, but this was pretty fluffy and delicious. The coconut was shaved on top so it wasn't as offensive of a coconut flavor as usual. Overall, this definitely is not the best Chinese buffet in Omaha (it's not even in the conversation), but it's a passable option if you have no other way to get to one of the better options in town.

I have only been here once, it had a lot of variety, and they had sushi. I liked the ambience.read more
