Stopped in to grab a quick bite, they did not disappoint. The man who took our order was incredibly friendly. I told him about coffee I had when visiting Mexico and they had it on the menu!! Food was really good too. Would absolutely recommend!

I saw this place on the Edgewater neighborhood Facebook page that Im in, so thought I would give it a try and to a support local businesses. I went to the one on Bryn Mawr, next to redline station. I love this place! Small and very quaint. The owner was soooo nice and very welcoming. He spent time telling us about their coffee, freshness and roasting. Something you really don't hear that often in a coffee shop these days. I had a triple Cappuccino. It was sooooooo good! The espresso was so good and tasted so fresh. No burnt taste or bitterness! We also ordered food. I wasn't expecting a full menu (breakfast, lunch and desserts). I was hungry so it worked out perfectly. I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/ fries and my beastie ordered the House salad (pics included). The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was so juicy, flavorful and the bun was so soft! House Salad was also delicious. It was fresh, no brown lettuce and so tasty. I will definitely be back to this place. A definite MUST TRY and a great addition to the Edgewater neighborhood.

We were looking for a nice, sit-down cafe and there are a decent number of tables but almost all of them were occupied so seating was limited and it was hard to really settle in comfortably. The drinks were fine (although a bit pricey) and they did take a while to come out (it was crowded but most of the people already had their drinks). There was also a slight mix up where one of the drinks was missed which was eventually resolved, but again, added to the overall wait and slightly disorganized feel of the visit. Nothing was really bad, but nothing stood out either. It just felt a bit overwhelmed by the volume of people compared to the space and speed of service. Decent drinks and nice decor but long wait times and limited seating made the experience less enjoyable than it could've been.

First Sip is a bespoke cafe with dark walls, art and many china cups in a dynamic sculpture. The baked items have some light Asian influences and has a wide coffee list. We ordered two lattes and a couple of baked goods. We then sat down and waited, and waited, and waited and waited. I got up to find out where our drinks were and they finally arrived. We waited some more and then went up to ask where our baked goods were and they weere like "oh we forgot" and I asked them to heat up one of the items. We then waited and waited and finally gave up. When I got up to remind them, they shrugged as the item in the oven was pulled out and sat there until it was cold. We asked them to put it in a bag. Now there were two servers and not many people. We are fairly mellow but this experience was totally unacceptable. We will never go back to this cafe.

They have regular tables, and then there is a fun section where you can sit on the floor. Outdoor seating in the front and back too. The shop in the back is cool and has a nice variety of clothes, jewelry, books, and gifts. Lots of travel items to match the theme of the cafe. The desserts are homemade and so impressive! The pear Bundt cake was really moist and flavorful. I loved the peanut butter and chocolate pie that was vegan and gluten free and awesome. So delicious! The milkshakes are amazing! I had a boozy one and it was so smooth and easy to drink. They also have good cocktails. I enjoyed a margarita here. The coffees are fantastic! I loved my Thai iced coffee. The matchas are wonderful. No other drink and snack shop makes this unique drink and the only problem I have is the fact it doesn't have an option to make it LARGE. My heart is absolutely happy. Ever since this place got new management it has improved immensely!!! The cool owner is super friendly and I think that's what makes this place stand out amongst all the cute drink and snack shops in Argyle. I love this location and so does my son and his cousins. I ordered today, and got the opportunity to sample a potential new menu item and it was absolutely delicious. There isn't anything to hate about this place. Customer service is on point, food and drinks are on point and the place is cute and spacious. I highly recommend Uni Uni Argyle they have great quality cups for their drinks and that's another thing I love. A lot of places serve you drinks in cheap cups. Uni Uni has strong cups and lids, perfect for your ride and won't spill out the cup. Thanks for the great conversations every single time I've gone here. You guys rock.

I had the Lovebirds Tea with Coffee and Tapioca and that tasted pretty good, and I love coffee so that was good for me. And my wife got the uni fruit combo Jasmine green tea and she liked that as well. Well come back next time and order food too!
