I like to try a little bit of everything so i came in and was glad to see they had a foodie plate with churros, pancakes and fried oreos. I got the cookie butter topping and it was so good, I liked the ice cream on top as well. I also got a seperate order of their churros and they were a 10/10, so good! Soft crunchy warm & fresh. service was great, the owners are very friendly people. Definitely recommend this place out its a small parking lot but I didnt find a problem finding any parking

I finally got to try Dulce Canella, and it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. We got their foodie plate that includes mini pancakes, churros, fried oreos, ice cream, and two toppings. Everything came out warm and fresh, and the churros were crispy and yummy We also tried their Dubai-style tried orebs, which were super rich and fluffy inside. They also have chicken strips and fries if you want something savory. Everything paired well with their coffee (I recommend asking for less sweet since it leans on the sweeter side). I wish this spot was closer to me, but it's definitely worth checking out if you're craving fresh, good desserts.

Been eyeing this place for a while, got the chance to try it and I'd say it was pretty good. I'm not much of a cheesecake guy but after eating their churro cheesecake, I'd say I have a flavor of cheesecake that I WOULD eat. They are mainly known for their churros and deep fried Oreos. The staff was very nice, and then gentlemen taking my order was able to help me guide through what is a commonly ordered item and what he suggests. Really good place if you want something sweet !

We always get the catering order for churros and plátanos fritos when we have big gatherings & Dulce Canella always comes thru! We are very picky when it comes down to churros, we don't like them from just anywhere but we for sure always like the from here. I have yet to try other menu items! First time coming here and overall it was a good experience. The churros were fresh, warm, and delicious. We did pay for 8 churros but only received 6, which was a bit disappointing. Besides that, everything tasted great and it definitely hit the spot for dessert. I'd still come back and give it another try.

DELICIOUS CHURROS! Dare I say better than Disneyland? The only thing that makes them not as good as Disneyland is that you are not eating them at Disneyland. The churros are made fresh to order. They are not huge so get a few. We ordered an 6 piece for the whole family to share. My son also got a Horchata milkshake and loved it. The Carmel sauce is super yummy but honestly the churros don't need anything. We are excited to come back and try other things. They are now advertising Dubai chocolate too!

Craving something sweet I searched Dubai strawberries and Dulce Canella popped up. I ordered the 16oz cup, and a slice of the churro cheesecake topped with Nutella and strawberries. The portion was big, and definitely enough for me and my daughter to share. The Dubai chocolate strawberries were prepared perfectly. So much chocolate, pistachio cream and knafeh. They did not skimp, as you can tell by the pics! Plus the strawberries they used were sweet and firm. The churro cheesecake was also very delicious. Will definitely be ordering again 10/10!

This place was so good! First timers and got the 6 churros + 2 toppings + 1 scoop of ice cream. We picked strawberry syrup and whip cream with strawberry ice cream. The strawberry jam they put in top tasted so fresh and plenary of it, had prices of strawberries in there as well! Absolutely fresh and amazing, We also got a chocolate syrup and powder surgery + vanilla ice cream, personally I enjoyed the strawberry better. Unfortunately there's only 2 staff one cashier and one back person so orders were slow took about 30 minutes on a Sunday afternoon about 4 . Will definitely be back with the family next time!

Came today to do my taxes, had some time to kill so I came to check out the place, as someone from Guadalajara I often crave churros and tortas so I thought I gave them a try. I have been disappointed before with stale, flavorless and burned monstrosity so I didn't have my hopes up. The ambience was a bit lacking, it look like the words " Hopeful but shy" came to life as a restaurant. No to mention the workers were on break or atleat seem to be when I got there. The service was great friendly and welcoming, I had a variety of options and was happy to try. I got a churro and a cheesecake, at an affordable prize they tasted great and made wanna come back. What a gentle face that waitress had, and an welcoming attitude. I recommend if you come do your taxes make sure to pick up at least a hot churro from this place.

came back again for dubai cup. $15 for a cup pretty damn pricy. Strawberry was really sour eventhough it looks fresh. Wish there were more chocolate and pitas cream inside. Flavour on those r pretty good which is why it won't get 1 star but also at the same time this doesnt justify the price at all. 6/10

This shop was a pretty cool spot for me and a few friends to visit after church. I think this place has potential for 5 stars but maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. First things first, the service staff there is very friendly and helpful. Very pleasant to be around. The churros are made fresh which makes the wait time longer than expected but it's well worth it. Not oily and plenty crispy. Where my friends and I went wrong was we should've ordered the Sundae instead of the 6 churros with ice cream. Overall really enjoyed the spot. Willing to come back and try something different.

I always come here for there fresh, authentic, warm churros. However today I called to check if they had Dubai chocolate strawberries and they did. Very delighted with this treat. I will have to try there churros next time. Also I didn't ask for his name but the gentleman that helped me out today was very kind, and provided a precise time for the wait. I don't usually eat my dessert at the store but they do have a few tables to sit and eat. The employee saw the customer trying to clean up for themselves and they kindly told them they can do it for them, which I thought was nice on both ends. Anyways the place is clean so if you would like to sit and enjoy your treat at the spot it's doable.

Pros: Good churros and good price. Churros are fresh and crunchy. Clean place and friendly service. Cons: Place needs to be more upbeat. It needs to be more inviting for me to stay and enjoy my churros there. We ended up driving to Starbucks and eating our churros at home. Perhaps having some Mexican music in the background with art on the walls? The "Dulce Canella" sign also needs to be replaced, it looks creepy with red bloody font. read more

Churros are freshly prepared when ordered. Plátanos fritos are always perfect. They have a the perfect thing you need when craving something sweet. During Covid- they were open when I went (maybe a few months ago). Wear a mask. Your churros are made to order and customized. At the time they don't serve chocolate ice cream only vanilla which is a disappointment however it was still real good. I've give it 5 stars once they offer chocolate ice cream for those people like me who likes to indulge and satisfy their sweet tooth. read more

Churros and drinks are prepared out of sight in the kitchen behind closed doors. We tried the churros and were not impressed. Cashier seemed annoyed and didn't greet us. When asked about the toppings we were told to look at a small board but no further conversation/recommendation. We won't be returning. read more

This place is the best!!!! We pick up churros and fried Oreos for family dinners (dessert) here at least 2 times a week since we discovered it. Their dulce de leche sauce is amazing and they have Nutella and many other sauces. They are clean and organized and all the employees are so friendly. We always call ahead as it takes about 15 mins and that's how far away from my house it is and it's always fresh when I arrive to pick it up. I keep forgetting to take a pic because we tear into it too quickly but I highly recommend this place ! read more

This spot is good, I am not a big sweets guy but a churro once in a while sounds good and if I am gonna indulge might as well be a quality churro like this place. The churros are fresh, the toppings are good and they also have hot drinks like champurrado and atole which goes very well in the cold weather. First time here today. Had the churro sundae for my son and brought some churros home. My son loved the churros and is already asking about going back. Churros are great and not too sweet. My son loved the condensed milk and chocolate on the sundae, but he just ate a simple cinnamon and sugar churro a few hours later and loved that, too. I liked it all AND that delicious coffee with caramel. Place is very clean and professional, and we felt very safe with pandemic policies. In short, this place is worth driving to. We'll be back, even if it means a 20 min drive. read more

The churros are amazing!!! They were crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside! These are the most amazing churros I've ever had! They were hot and fresh and oh so delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better churro. Personally, the tiny 1oz. container of dip they give isn't enough. With 10 churros, I should've gotten several of those. I like to dip with every bite. I get staying in line with costs, but don't be stingy with the good stuff! We also got the fried oreos. They were great, but again a 1oz. sauce isn't going to cut it. With the heat, the dips are absorbed so there is nothing left afterwards. I will be back because there's nothing better than fresh churros and they're super close to my house. read more

Had a sweet craving and decided to take a 20 minute drive to Norwalk on 10/29/21 to have some churros and plantains. Let's start with the food, the plantains were very delicious, but the churros were bland, soggy and unimpressive. This is my second visit and I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the churros in comparison to my first visit. Let's move on to customer service. During my drive I called the establishment multiple times to place an order only to get a recording. Upon arrival I waited in the store for about 4 minutes before someone from the back came out to take my order. I asked if they take phone orders and the young lady said yes. In the background the phone was beeping without anyone answering. After placing my order at 9:30 pm, I waited outside. My order came out at 9:57 pm. Sorry but I find a wait time of 27 minutes to be excessive. The owner of this business needs to figure out how to expedite the process and provide better service! read more

Churros: softest churros EVER. Fried Oreos + Atole De Nuez: heaven. Chicken tenders: low key reason for my 5 Really good, little spot. We usually travel a lot further when we want churros and decided to give this place a try one day. Glad we did. It was SO good. In summer of 2017 a traditional recipe and a dream made a small cart in a sidewalk in Compton famous.now we are launchng our first brick and mortar. We also have a trailer in Compton. We also love catering all your special events!

Family owned churro business with a traditional recipe of churros from jalisco. We started in a sidewalk cart vending and grew from there. Now we offer you an expanded menu and extended hours. Loved coming here for the fried oreos and the champurrado. The churros are nor great way way too doughy and seem uncooked and too greasy. Not sure if protocal changed but you could come here to get a champurrado be in and out the door within minutes. Now the last few times I have got the "there isn't any we can make some in about 20 mins". Great, next day I call and was told there was none but will have some in 30 mins...I call again in 40 mins and was told they don't make any until I order some. Excuse me what? The run around is so frustrating. You have the giant pot of champurrados I'm ordering just 1 cup so not sure why I have to first order to have some ready? After stopping at a pop up churro spot on valley view and Leffingwell, I was craving their delicious churros but to my surprise they are only there on Friday and Saturday. So I decided to go to a churro place near Cerritos. I found this place after looking on Google and drove there to try their churros. Churros where very small and skinny, but worst part was they where hard and had an old taste as if the oil was not changed in some time. I guess this is the last time I'll go there . They have a variety in their menu, you can get churros, even plátanos fritos . Last time I went their churros had a sour flavor. I thought maybe is the oil they have been using. Nothing they can't fix. Customer service is good, they will take around 15min but it is because they are freshly made. read more
