We eventually accepted our fate and furnished the guesthouse with a space heater, a fan, and what can only be described as climate-related trust issues. Then came Adam Eck HVAC. They were easy to schedule, showed up on time (already a miracle these days), communicated clearly, and actually diagnosed and fixed the issue. Apparently the system was capable of heating and cooling all along. Who knew.
