We have a 30 year old AC that we know is on it's last leg. It suddenly stopped blowing any air completely one day and left us sweating during a minor heat wave during the summer. We were contacted quickly after submitting a request for a quote online and we were scheduled a technician to come out in a few days. Christian arrived within the promised time window and went straight to work. He let us know what he believed our issue was and was honest that it may not actually fix our issue after replacing that part. He was very professional discussing our options of repair versus a whole new system. We received an electronic quote within hours of him leaving for both options. Darlene was such great help. I submit an after hours quote request online for a full HVAC installation and she gave me a call back within 30 minutes. We were able to discuss everything over the phone and she provided the quote the next afternoon. Was able to schedule the installation 2 weeks later and it took her crew 3.5 days to finish the installation. They started on Monday morning and finished Thursday morning. The crew was very respectful, professional and very tidy. They cleaned up after themselves each day. Our 23-year-old home air conditioning unit decided to breathe its last gasps about a week ago. Based on a recommendation from a family member, we contacted Dooley's to get an evaluation and an estimate. We met with Aaron, who is knowledgeable and professional. He provided us with an easy to understand assessment of what would work best for our home, and with what we felt was an overall reasonable quote to replace our complete HVAC system (we did get other estimates). Within a week of starting to look into replacement of the HVAC unit, we have a new Trane system. The installation team (Chris and Xavier) were hardworking, detail-oriented, and respectful of our property. Both Aaron and business owner Tony visited the worksite on the day of installation. The installation was accomplished in one day. Aaron returned the following day to check the system and to ensure all was working well. We're very pleased with the Trane system so far, and with the all new vent plates that were installed, distributing and directing the cooling air into our living spaces more efficiently. **LATE POST** Our HVAC went down the week we had that short heat stint back in April. So who do I reach out to?? You guessed it Dooley's Heating and Air. One reason is I know the owner because we attended the same high school but the main reasons are the reviews and it's highly recommended on Yelp because of their customer service. After a few text messages or so one of their technicians, Aaron gets in contact with new and says he'll be coming out on Friday to diagnose the problem. Friday comes and Aaron opens up the panel and there he saw a fried motherboard. He calls his office and checks to see if the mother oard is available. Aaron said he would have to come back tomorrow to pick up the motherboard at his office and come back to install after a few service calls he has the next day. As I was told, Aaron showed up the next day replaced the motherboard and that didn't fix it. He went to look at other components of the AC unit and found other parts needing to be replaced but it wouldn't be available until Monday because they're closed on Sundays. Monday comes along and Aaron already has the parts with him so he replaces them and also does some maintenance work without asking him to do so. Dooley's Heating and Air and their tech Aaron gave us one of the best repair customer service experiences we've received. They don't and in our case didn't try to swindle us in getting something we didn't need like how some companies are known to upsell for profit. We purchased 2 Trane conditioners in 2020, one for our home and one for our ADU. Aaron, from Dooley's Heating and Air was easy to work with gave us a choice of products. They worked us in and installed the products in a timely matter. 2 weeks ago we had a problem turning on the air condioner. We called Aaron and the following week he came over and spent 1 and 1/2 hours and fixed the problem. When my husband said what do we owe you? He said, "Nothing". In April of 2020 I had Dooleys replace the aging AC unit and hot water heater for my home, both probably 30 plus years old. After speaking with Tony and Aaron about the options of product type, reliability, how best these would work with my solar panels, short vs long term, etc, I chose the products that I wanted. They educated me, and allowed me to choose. No high pressure, sales stuff. The install was great. The team at Dooleys was courteous, used safety protocols (Covid), and communicated exactly what they were doing, where, etc. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves like they weren't even here. At the conclusion of the work being done, Tony and Aaron came to give a look over for both the installs, and make sure I knew the basics and operation of both of the new products and to address any questions or concerns I may have had. 2021 is here, my new units are working great, it was a great investment. Having a new hot water heater has definitely changed our living experience here (family of 5) . No more worries about being the 5th person in line to take a lukewarm or cold shower...haha! I've referred Dooleys to dozens of family members and friends. Saving my pennies now to replace my other original AC unit and will surely be calling on Dooleys and their team for all my needs. read more

We just had our ducts replaced by Dooley's and they are wonderful! Aaron came out and gave us an estimate. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He had our quote the same day and they started work within 1 week. The father and son team of Chris and Xavier were a pleasure to deal with. They cleaned up completely after the job was done and we are very pleased with the work that was done. They are very reasonable as far as cost goes. I've been shopping for HVAC and noticed one of the companies -- Dooley's -- doesn't have any reviews yet, so I thought I'd get things rolling with a shopping review (because we're still deciding what to do). Tony has lots of good reviews elsewhere, so I took a chance and had him come out for a bid. What I like: He does not push one brand. He's happy to install a long list of options. He also honestly explained what his preference is and why -- which clued me in about other company's pushing one brand or another. Tony has his opinions and explains them well, but does not act as if his opinions come from on high. He did not slam the competitors, either, just acknowledged there are professional differences of opinion. For the most part, my research makes it clear brand is not nearly as important as having an excellent installer. Based on how Tony conducted himself, his experience, and other reviews, I would not hesitate to use him. (We just aren't there yet. Remodeling takes longer than I'd ever think. Sigh...) Update: A month or so after I posted this review, another HVAC guy sort of threatened he'd report me to the county for something (I wasn't sure for what). Worried and confused, I called Dooley's and Tony gave me excellent advice so I could get the other guy off my back. Fast forward several more months, we were finally ready to install central HVAC...and my hubby hired someone else without telling me. Ah, well. I still recommend Dooley's, too! read more

He checked everything over and unfortunately our unit was not able to fix. Aaron was extremely professional and suggested different types of AC. He then later emailed us an estimate and by that evening, we had agreed and their professional crew were at my home removing and installing a new AC unit and heater. Aaron, one of their techs, came out and serviced the A/C. I wanted Dooley's to check before contacting a company closer as Dooley's installed the A/C. I didn't realize the thermostat that was there was there prior to their install on A/C. Aaron checked all and it was the thermostat that was not working. I was charged as he said that when they install just the A/C; not the therm, they do not know that it will die. All is good now. read more

My company hired Dooley Heating and Air to repair an AC in May of 2019. The work was completed without an issue. Inadvertently Dooley's was paid twice for the job in May and June. They never said a word. When contacted in January it took over 3 weeks to get a response and we were told they had to reconcile their books at the end of the month. They told us the check would be sent February 1st. To date we do not have the check. One response from them was they needed the bookkeepers address. They had the business address so this was another excuse. These people have not been honest with us and I fear they might not be honest with others. The notes to us came from Darlene Dooley. We called Dooley's because of their great reviews on Yelp. Wrong! We told Dooley's before they came that our fuses blow every year at the start of summer and need to be replaced. They said our whole unit needed to be replaced, so we got a second opinion. The new technician came out, found out 'someone' had taken out the fuses and turned the unit off. He put the fuses back in, turned the unit on, and voila! It worked fine. What a scam! Not cool. read more

My wife and I had a baby at the beginning of this summer, when there was a sweltering heat wave. The day we brought our baby home from the hospital, we were surprised to find that our air conditioner was no longer putting out cold air, and the internal temperature in our house was well over 100 degrees. We stayed overnight at a friends' house, and the next day I started putting out calls for repairmen. Tony was the first person to get back to me quickly, and came out to repair my unit the same day.
