He also recommended an Air Scrubber to help with seasonal allergies priced way below competitive bids. We had a 5 star experience with the air duct cleaning with Same Day Air a week ago and looked forward to our new system. Brentwood can get quite hot in the summer. Come install day, Roberto arrived early to prep for installation. He had help from 3 additional team members. Roberto and Edward powered through the installation and by mid afternoon we were enjoying our new system. Edward installed our nice new Nest thermostat which enables us to use an app from our phone. Excellent services in the past few years ago. Recently called and left a messages several times, but never responded.

We called in May and emailed about our new system they installed including a new AC , evaporator coil and heating unit. This cost us thousands for them not contact us back, and not answer the phone when the AC compressor stopped working is ridiculous. We had to pay for another certified Lennox contractor to do the repair when you get a warranty at least a year for installation but also 10 years for manufacturer. We called and left messages multiple times but they would have let our compressor fail which they would have reaped the benefits for another contract. So disappointing seeing that the installers were nice. read more

Update: Same day air installed my NEW AC/Heat system on 8.15.22. Install guys and the owner Derrick were great! until today. Same day air after install, had to come back to my home 3-5x as the heater would cut off after 40 min of heating. Issue was never fixed. Derrick recommended getting a new thermostat as Nest thermostats have issues. So we move into the summer(no need for heat, so no complaints). However, the money I was told that I would save with pg&e on a new efficient system was a lie. My 1 year old system still has the heating issue, and now the a/c is not cooling properly. I called owner Derrick and he stated that I needed to call my home warranty and pay for another company to fix my system, or he could send someone out for $79 next week. He stated that Same Day Air was obligated to come service my NEW system for only 30 days after installation. Also, each time, same day air came out after installation, my home warranty company was never notified by Same day air, so this information is all new to them. So on today, I paid $125 for my home warranty company to come fix an issue never resolved from day one of installation. read more

Same Day Heating and Air sold us a complete system with the promise that it qualified for the income tax credit. Now it's tax season and We find out that nope, does not qualify. The office has been giving us the run around and keep sending us to the IRS web site instead of producing verification that the unit they put in qualifies. I had to contact the manufacturer to find out that Same Day lied about the unit and now they just keep trying to avoid us. BEWARE!!!! read more

I use Yelp to locate local HVAC companies who could help me with a leak in my air conditioner. We set up the appointment via text messages for the very next day. Juan came, inspected my air conditioner, did a nitro flush, and fixed some of the piping leading outside of my house to stop the leaking. Juan did a great job and communicated what he was doing every step of the way. He also told me the price of everything before he began working to fix the issue. They quoted me a $79 diagnosis fee. The nitro flush and pipework brought my bill up to $264. After a few emails and text messages, I received a receipt of the work completed on my air conditioner. This company is not trustworthy. The capacitor went out in our AC unit during the 115 degree heat wave. They said the whole system was toast, and the only way to fix it would be $8,000-$10,000. I asked if they could replace the capacitor and they refused and said it wasn't possible, as there was no power going to the system. We got a second opinion. Turns out, the capacitor was bad, and 20 minutes later it was fixed for $150. I'm beyond shocked at their comportment. Please make sure you get multiple quotes before just believing what this company tells you. This was utterly shocking and left me worried about who else this company has attempted or successfully taken advantage of. I would definitely recommend another company. read more

Well I think when I called same day heating and air they came out the next day, my only problem was a cracked ac drip tray..basically I had new coils and compressor installed 4 months ago. I was shocked at their estimate at over 2k plus to do a pan replacement, this is after a 2800 estimate cause they wanted to replace the coil again, which i verified was working even before their tech touched my system...they have good reviews here based mainly on a home warranty, I called them as a consumer and they are nice but they thought they could gouge me. I called them for faster service and would gladly pay but their estimate was out of whack. Guess I will avoid this company. They are quick to pickup their phone. read more

Four months after moving in, we still wanted to do an inspection on a few things which included AC/Heat. I contacted Same Day Air Conditioning and Heating based on positive reviews I saw on Yelp. The day of the appointment, they arrived within the slotted work window. Throughout the entire process, from the inspection to the vent cleaning, Eki thoroughly explained the conditions they found. He told me there were no filters in the main vent nor the duct connected to the heater. He also said that because most of my vents are on the floor, some of the covers initially installed by the previous homeowner were the wrong type. The ones we had were meant for vents on walls or ceilings. The ones needed on the floor were stronger and did not bend from accidentally hitting them. The entire project took about 3-4 hours and they installed filters as well as ordered new floor vent covers. This review should be an indication for anyone seeking this type of service to definitely consider hiring Same-Day AC and Heating. Today I had the good fortune of having Same Day Air Conditioning and Heating dispatch their technician Angel, a true professional, to my home to diagnose my A/C system. It was my first time using Same Day Air Conditioning and Heating and I am glad I selected them to diagnose my homes A/C system. I was dreading a huge repair bill, but their technical Angel quickly diagnosed the problem, a pkugged air filter. I am glad that we had Angel diagnose our problem. He did so quickly and honestly. It is not uncommon for dishonest contractors to charge customers for work that is not needed or even for work they don't even do. Most people do not know enough about A/C systems to tell if they are being played and can easily be scammed for a very expensive repair bill. Another favorite trick is for an A/C contractor to try convince you that you need to replace your entire HVAC system before it has reached it's useful service life. We just moved from Austin, TX to the East Bay last month, and it wasn't 20 seconds after turning on the a/c in our new house that it went out completely. I picked same day service based on their reviews but unfortunately I didn't get the same experience as the other customers. I had a senior tech come out and diagnose my AC/heating unit. It was quick and I felt like they completed what they came to do. Then my unit went back to not working again. I contacted them and this time they said that the senior tech's diagnosis said there's an entirely different issue which was over $700 to fix. It was very upsetting that they didn't diagnose it correctly the first time but now the amount of money it was going to cost was ridiculous. Several months later we had the same issue when I contacted them the manager refused to believe his tech did anything wrong and hung up the phone. My AC/heater still doesn't work and they are refusing to fix the situation. They were very disappointing and I wouldn't recommend them to my family and friends. read more
