From the moment I called and made an appointment I had a feeling it was going to be a really good experience. The woman who answered the phone was so friendly as well as professional and set me up for an appointment a few days later. I asked her if the service workers could install a new cover screen I had purchased for the outside vent exhaust and she thought it wouldn't be any problem. As promised, the service guys called when they were on their way and gave me an ETA, which was right on time for our scheduled appointment. They were friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. As it turns out, they couldn't install the dryer vent cover that I had purchased because of the paint and stucco surrounding the opening, but fortunately, they had one in their truck that worked just fine. It was such a relief to find a company in which I have such confidence which means I won't procrastinate like I usually do in scheduling the next cleaning. I first learned about them from our local community Facebook group and I can see why so many neighbors recommended them. I thought their pricing was quite reasonable and competitive and certainly worth preventing a possible dryer fire.

I like how they take their time to explain what they are doing and also give tips on how to maintain your HVAC system. This review is for my most recent experience with All Weather. I am a realtor and needed a HVAC inspection ($150), so I call All Weather since I had a great experience with them before for my own HVAC system. Art (Arturo) was assigned to the inspection. An email (with the tech's name and picture) and text was sent when he was on his way which is nice. Art did not rush the inspection and was very thorough. He took time to explain what he was doing and what he was checking for. Also took time to explain what maintenance items needed to be completed. Then provided a thorough report of the maintenance items needed and cost if they were to perform them. Overall, I am very happy with their service and their technicians' knowledge and professionalism.

They did their job and then quoted me a price that I thought was a bit high. I went through my warranty company to see if they would fix that, only to find out they sent out a vendor that couldn't find the cracks. I called Cozy home for a third opinion and they were there soon and not only demonstrated that I needed a new unit for safety reasons but offered me a complete system for $10,500 less than the first vendor. Not only did they make the safety of my family their priority, but installed it quickly safely and as I said before for $10,500 less than the first vendor. Mark was great with the initial inspection and I'm glad he was able to make the recommendation. . I'm happy with the system. The install team was awesome as well. Got the whole thing done in a day. I'm happy I found This Company and feel a lot more "cozy" in my home now and for the foreseeable future. Thanks guys.!

They took my money, failed final inspection, and have not come back to fix it…read more I see the owner, Jason, replied to another person with a similar problem that they "do not have any Install's that are left incomplete." This is not true, at least in my case, and I'm happy to give him the permit number if he gives ME a call--I'm tired of calling and emailing and getting not reply. I hired Cozy Home Services in January 2026 to swap my ducted gas furnace for a heat pump at my home in Oakland. The main installation went smoothly, but what followed has been deeply frustrating. When it was time for final inspection, they told me to schedule it myself, even though their contract says they do the permits. The first inspection failed with nine correction items. It took weeks of follow-up and the intervention of a third party for me to get Cozy Home to send someone out to make the fixes. When the technician arrived, it was clear they had not reviewed the correction notice or checked with the city. He asked me what needed to be fixed, then called his manager for guidance, and ultimately said he would do what he could and 'we'll see how it goes.' They even installed the wrong fix--an unnecessary second breaker box on the outside of the house. That second inspection (which I also had to schedule) failed with six items still outstanding. These are not complicated fixes, either--things like swapping in a GFCI breaker, putting in a proper p-trap on the condensation drain, and other items that are listed right in the blower installation manual. That second failure was six months ago. They have not come back and the permit is still not finaled. During the installation, they also cut up my existing filter box rather than replacing it with a properly sized unit as they promise under their own "right size guarantee." They removed the side of the box and replaced it with a loose sheet of metal, ruining the latching, gasketed door to the filter slot. Now I have to untape the door to change the filter, then tape it shut again. This is not a permanent or professional solution. I have made repeated attempts to get them to work with the city. Their responses are sporadic and commitments are not kept. The equipment itself seems fine. The problem is entirely with follow-through, workmanship on the details, and responsiveness after the sale.

Friendly Technicians, but Disappointing and Questionable Billing…read more I initially trusted SERVPRO of Vacaville/Dixon because my husband has used them for major county cleanups, and local police departments have used them as well. After a sink overflow in our newly built home on September 20, 2026, their technicians were kind, courteous and professional. I expected a positive experience. Then I received a $2,224.80 itemized bill. I'm paying entirely out of pocket, NOT submitting this to insurance, and several charges seem inflated compared with the time and work I witnessed. The invoice includes: * $240.10 for 1.75 hours of after-hours equipment setup on September 20. * $479.69 for 5.25 hours of monitoring and equipment removal across September 22, 23 and 25. * $1,413.52 for equipment rental, separate from labor. * $63.33 for debris hauling, billed as one-quarter pickup-truck load including dump fees. That's $719.79 for seven billed labor hours. What troubles me most is the 5.25 hours attributed to just three visits. The routine monitoring checks took approximately 10 minutes each, yet 5.25 hours averages 1 hour and 45 minutes per visit. I understand that equipment removal takes additional time, but I don't believe the time spent at my home accounts for the billed hours. I called the office, and the staff was polite, answered my questions and invited me to call again. I appreciate that. But I was told the charges reflect standard, nonnegotiable industry billing practices, including travel and time entering readings into equipment or reports. I understand there is travel and paperwork. What I don't understand is how those tasks add up to 5.25 hours for three visits. How long could it take to record readings from the machines? I would like to see the actual time accounted for, not just a standard allowance. I also spoke with a representative of my home's builder, who showed me examples of how they assess similar restoration charges using documented time stamps and actual arrival and departure times. That comparison made me even more uncomfortable with the explanation I received. The $63.33 hauling charge is another example. They removed one small cabinet toe kick and a baseboard; I kept the baseboard and put it back myself. Why am I being charged for hauling and dump fees based on one-quarter of a pickup-truck load? The toe kick could have gone in my household trash. I want to know what was actually hauled and dumped, especially when removal work is separately itemized. My husband signed the service authorization on an iPad while I sat in tears, upset that I had overflowed the sink. I haven't yet reviewed the full signed terms. Even if this billing method was included, I wish someone had clearly explained it beforehand. In a water emergency, your focus is stopping damage, not anticipating hundreds of dollars for brief return visits. I don't expect technicians to work for free. I expect to pay fairly for equipment, labor and necessary documentation. And I want to be fair to the people involved: the technicians were genuinely nice, and the office was willing to speak with me. My concern is the charges, not their courtesy. But being told these are standard, nonnegotiable charges doesn't make them feel reasonable or proportionate to the work I saw. This is $2,224.80 of my own money, not an insurance claim. Even if insurance were paying, would that make these charges fair? I hope never to need water mitigation again, but based on this billing experience I would not choose SERVPRO again or recommend them. Perhaps a smaller company would offer more individualized, transparent labor itemization. I encourage homeowners to ask exactly how setup, monitoring, travel, removal and debris disposal are calculated BEFORE signing an electronic authorization. I genuinely wish the experience had ended as positively as it began.

1/5 Stars: PROPERTY OWNERS AND LANDLORDS, BEWARE. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY…read more As a property owner, I strongly recommend that other landlords and property investors avoid Advanced Plumbing Heating and Air. My experience with this company demonstrated a concerning lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. Before engaging their services, I explicitly established that all findings, concerns, and recommendations regarding my rental property were to be communicated directly to me as the property owner. Apparently, following simple instructions was too much to ask. During a service visit on October 1, their technician disregarded this arrangement and communicated serious concerns regarding my property's heating system directly to my tenant instead of contacting me as instructed. This created unnecessary stress and confusion that I was subsequently left to manage. To be clear, I absolutely expect HVAC professionals to identify legitimate safety concerns. However, there is a professional and responsible way to communicate those concerns, particularly when working with rental properties. Keeping the property owner informed should be a fundamental part of that process. Because of this experience, I made the decision to terminate my business relationship with the company. Their response to losing a customer was arguably the most revealing part of the entire experience. Rather than receiving a thoughtful, personalized response acknowledging my concerns, I received what appeared to be a generic, AI-generated message. They couldn't even spell my name correctly. Think about that for a moment. A property owner terminates a business relationship because of concerns about professionalism and communication, and the company's response is an impersonal, seemingly automated message that doesn't even get the customer's name right. You genuinely couldn't ask for a better demonstration of the very problem that caused me to terminate their services in the first place. It left me with the impression that my concerns were not taken seriously and that retaining my business was of little importance to them. As someone who owns rental property, I depend on contractors who can communicate effectively, exercise sound judgment, and respect established expectations. I should not have to micromanage basic communication or wonder whether a company is even paying attention to the customer paying for its services. My recommendation to fellow property owners is simple: Take your business elsewhere. Find a company that respects your instructions, communicates directly and professionally, and treats your property and your business relationship with the attention they deserve. There are plenty of HVAC contractors who understand that professionalism involves more than showing up with a toolbox. Advanced Plumbing Heating and Air has permanently lost my business. Between the disregard for established communication expectations and the embarrassingly impersonal response to my termination notice, I have absolutely no confidence in their customer service. If they cannot even take the time to spell a customer's name correctly in a response to a formal complaint, I have little reason to believe they will give my property the attention it deserves. One star. I would not recommend this company to any property owner.
