So I don't do too many reviews outside food reviews but I gotta give a quick shout out. We've been having a myriad of issues with our renovations this last year. So anytime something is done really well in the midst of the chaos, I gotta give props to Dot. He cleaned out our dryer vents and we needed it bad. It was required because it could be a fire hazard if not. I never would have known this since I'm not a laundry person. I'm a dishes person. But yea regardless I had to get the good word out. I'll definitely keep him in mind if we or any of my friends/fam ever need any other related work. Also...I gotta give bonus points to this guy because he seems to be a fan of Game of Thrones. My girl mentioned that he was telling her how good the new "Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" show was. I just binged it last week and if you are a GOT fan I 100% agree with his recommendation. It's such a refreshing show compared to the tone of House of Dragon. Such a fun time to be a fan right now. But yea! Great dryer cleaning and great TV recommendations. I highly recommend Dot's. read more

Last week I had Scott service our dryer vent. Our dryer would sometime take two or even three cycles before our clothes finally got dry. Man, I knew we were in need of the service but I had no clue how bad we'd allowed our vent to billed up with lint. Scott came out dedicated a significant amount of time making sure to clear up the duct inside and up on the roof of our home! He was very detailed in keeping the work area cleaned and prevented the lint from coming into our home. I was actually embarrassed when I saw the amount of lint he removed. Our dryer is working just as it should and it looks like we are not throwing money away with huge PG&E bill at the end of the month. More important, my home is no longer in such a threat for a house fire! Thank you Scott! I really appreciate you and professional wok ethic! Jorge Clara read more

Scott was excellent. Excellent work, prompt service and worth the money considering my vent is on the roof.

Excellent service. Everything went great, showed up on time, and cleaned the dryer vent thoroughly. Very satisfied with the work.

Scott from Dot's Dryer Vents was friendly, affordable, punctual and efficient and serviced our electric dryer and duct really well. We have a long dryer duct and he got out about two abandoned birds nests (don't worry, no birds or eggs). He also capped our gas dryer line for us when he noted it was off. We didn't realize it. Great guy! Thanks Scott! read more

Scott came by today and did a great job! He was professional and was able to quickly diagnose the problem with our dryer. He cleaned it really well and replaced the hose to the vent. I really appreciated the time he spent explaining what the problem was.. and he took video of the vent on the roof to show us what he needed to do. His price is also very competitive with high quality work! read more

Reached out via text and got a response right away--appointment scheduled in minutes. They arrived early, were professional and friendly, and it's a veteran-run business, which I really appreciate. Great price and even better service. Highly recommend and will absolutely use them again! read more

Highly recommend! Scott is experienced in what he does and when it comes to these kinds of things, you always want a professional to get the job done correctly. Most importantly he can be trusted to do a thorough job. Glad to have found Dots after another company tried to scam me into paying over $500 for the same services. Thanks Scott! read more

Scott definitely deserves all these 5 star reviews!! First of all he is the most reasonably priced dryer vent cleaner with legitimate reviews in the area. Secondly he was responsive when I called and was able to work with my schedule for a cleaning in Davis, I'm so glad I was still within his service area. At the day of the appointment he was on time (early actually) and able to get to work before I arrived. He took pics and videos of the before and after per my request. He accepts Venmo which was a plus. I would use his services again and recommend him to anyone looking to have their vents cleaned. All around positive experience and happy to support a small business where you deal directly with the owner. read more

Scott was exceptional!, he arrived on time he was prepared. He was knowledgeable and happy to educate me on the workings of my dryer and the clean out process. His attitude towards his work and his personality created a very positive atmosphere, and he even acknowledged my puppy who couldn't wait to greet him with her kisses! Overall, if you want the type of service that we as homeowners deserve then don't hesitate to call DOTS and Scott read more

Scott was very responsible and easy to work with. The scheduling was easy and when things came up on my end, he was very flexible to accommodate a reschedule. He gave me a call before coming to my house and cleaned up my dryer vent quickly. Plus, after hearing I have a new dryer coming in a few days, he helped me installed my dryer vent and got it ready for my new dryer! All these at a very reasonable price. Thanks, Scott! Will definitely work with you again for future cleaning needs! read more

On time, courteous, professional, efficient, Great value and effort. Made sure all vent access and egress points were clear.

Excellent service, Dot's did a perfect job cleaning and repairing my dryer vent. On-time, fair pricing, I highly recommend using these folks. It is important that dryer vents be cleaned to conserve energy and for safety. read more

We contacted Dots due to our dryer showing a code the exhaust was partially plugged and we couldn't clear it ourselves. We were told they would get back to us with a date. We had to contact Scott again as to when he would come out since he never set a date and he finally gave us one. On the day of the appt he cancelled due to a family emergency and said he would need to reschedule which was 3 wks ago. We've never heard from him again, very unprofessional and very disappointing. That is the reason for my low rating and would not recommend this business. read more

His work is amazing... just as amazing as his personality. He took the time to address the minor things. Thank you

Dot's Dryer Vent Cleaning - This is all the lint pulled out of my dryer vent causing my dryer to run inefficiently and a fire hazard. - Air Duct Cleaning Near Me

If I could could give 10 stars I would. Scott came in explained what he would do and started to work. Unbeknownst to me as he moved the dryer away from the wall he saw water from underneath the washer! Like sitting for awhile. He checked hoses pipes etc and said it wasn't anything there so hi kindly cleaned it bleached it and wiped it dry. Then proceeded his work. That was way beyond the call of duty! He also did my moms house which was ridiculous because he had to climb and configure his whole body behind the machine and again went out of his way to get the job done right! Thanks Scott we appreciate you! read more

Scott had a pleasant demeanor and handed his business card to me as soon as he came inside. He showed us the stuff coming out of the vent! He even checked the roof top vent. He shared the picture and video as well. An extra bonus is that he noticed there wasn't a cap to the gas line behind the dryer. So he put one on for us. His years of service at PG&E truly helped in this instance. Overall the dryer vent cleaning was efficient and thorough. And he takes Venmo. Thank you Scott and thank you for your service to our country. read more

I used Yelp to request multiple quotes and Scott responded within four hours with his quote and availability.
