After 25 years, my Concord home needed a full HVAC replacement. I did my homework -- four quotes,…read moreverified equipment certifications, asked hard questions about duct sealing, zoning, and equipment sizing before deciding. A-1 answered every question confidently, corrected a spec error in their own quote when I caught it, and put everything in writing before I signed. Install day: Austin, Joey, and Edgar showed up on time. Floors covered, shoes covered, house treated well. Two days -- day one removal and new equipment, day two ductwork and zoning. Heating and cooling tested before they left. Full documentation handed over on the spot. No hidden charges, no surprises, no change orders. Price was mid-range among four quotes, but the warranty structure -- lifetime workmanship, no-lemon guarantee, payment at completion -- made it the best overall package. Still have HERS test-out and city inspection scheduled, but based on every step of this process I'd recommend A-1 without hesitation. Austin, Joey, and Edgar did a great job.

Kudos to Jonathan Meza, Maintenance/Service Tech, for the excellent customer service during my…read morevisit. I reached out to A1 because I am a repeat client who previously arranged installation of a heat pump water heater and a heat pump HVAC system in my home. This visit involved checking a UV lamp that my Ecobee app indicated was overdue for replacement. I discovered, however, that my system lacked a UV lamp. Even so, Jonathan shared more details about my setup and showed no annoyance over a call that differed from the initial report. He described the UV lamp options available for my unit and noted that he would gladly return to install one if I chose to add it to my heat pump system. For all your heat pump system needs, I strongly recommend the team at A1 Guaranteed Heating & Air.

To our dismay, our 22+ year old AC unit stopped working at the start of a weeklong heatwave. We…read morewere able to secure a next morning appt with Advanced Plumbing, Heating and Air, and Victor came out, assessed the furnace and outside unit, and let us know that it was pretty much kaput (which we expected). Victor provided detailed and thorough information, and showed me all the areas that were broken/corroded and were contributing to the overall dysfunctions. We had had our dryer repaired a few weeks ago by different vendor, and Victor's assessment aligned with that vendor's assessment -- that we were possibly dealing with a full HVAC issue. Victor was able to apply a bandaid fix to hold us over in the heat and scheduled an appointment with Mark, who came to our home later that evening to do a further assessment and to provide us replacement and financing options. We were able to secure an installation appt of the new HVAC system two days later, in which, Bobby and his team came in and took care of. The installation took just under six hours and from what I could tell, went smoothly, though I did feel bad that they were installing the system on a very hot day. But they didn't complain and remained professional and courteous. Overall, we felt well-informed and well taken care of by this company! All the employees we interacted with were professional, personable, laid back, and provided us great, fast, and generous service and care. We ran into some hiccups with financing but Mark helped us iron that out quickly and smoothly. The investment of the new HVAC system was resonable and fit our home goals. I appreciated that we didn't feel upsold to or pressured, and that they took the time to understand our pain points so that we could make the best decision. We're happy with our new HVAC system and are looking forward to seeing the physical and financial benefits of having an up-to-date and more efficient system. Would highly recommend.

They were late and then told me they couldn't get there until Monday, 5 days away. Insisting this needs taken care and can't wait. They finally showed up. After getting past that nonsense he tells me it was going to cost $3800, minimum. Told monarch I was getting a second opinion, that's way too much money for a new unit.
