Josh is the best! My wife and I moved into a historic home last year, and have had intermittent issues with the AC and Heat. Josh has been incredibly responsive, communicative, professional, and most importantly honest. Most recently our heat went out over New Years weekend. Best AC service I have ever had! Israel, the technician, was informative, fast and very friendly. I reached out to several HVAC companies, and they all told me they could come out for a look in a few days. As soon as I contacted GG they told me they could be out in 30 minutes. Israel tested my air conditioning unit for about 20 minutes, and got it working again with an inexpensive part. It actually wound up costing me a few hundred dollars less than I thought it would. Isreal is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. We had some difficult decisions to make - just get AC or replace our furnace too. Isreal fielded our many questions about the pro/cons, and cost of each scenario. His prices are reasonable and he updated quotes as we refined what we wanted. His work is impecable, he's a good communicator and spends time showing you the work and walking you through everything you need to know about your new equipment or setup. I wouldn't have changed a thing about our experience and would highly recommend him. Responsive and great customer service he did the job that needed to be done, but this is a 3 star vs 5 star review because he needs to work on being upfront about his prices. I requested a quote through Yelp. Instead of providing a quote he said he wanted to come in person to assess (did not mention a cost). When he arrived he began working on my unit. I stopped him to ask how much it would cost. He said "well the hourly rate is $150, but it's not gonna take that long." It took him under an hour and when it was all done he starts talking about how all companies charge travel time, so the hourly rate begins when he leaves his office, but he's not going to charge me the full travel and my total was $230. If this is his policy, he should be upfront about that. You don't come to a job and start work without saying anything about the price. Then when asked about the price, you don't just mention the hourly rate if your travel time will be factored in. You practice good business by being upfront and letting the customer know everything. read more
