Friendly and helpful staff. The doughnuts are made as soon as you order them. There is absolutely nothing better than a fresh hot doughnut. The maple bacon is ALWAYS my favorite. Do not be in a hurry because the doughnuts are made when you order . They are not made ahead. read more

Duck Donuts were little small but very delicious great choice of flavors wait time is to long and a little pricey

There appeared to be only one employee working, but it was very early on a Wednesday when we went and there was only one other customer. He was super nice and we chitchatted for a bit. He recommended his signature donut and it was delicious. We got several flavors and loved them all. The store was also super clean. read more

Duck Donuts - A dozen donuts, multiple kinds of - Donuts Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

My husband & I were in Virginia Beach from San Diego for medical reasons and we discovered the super customized and delicious donuts. It takes donuts to a new level. We walked out with 1/2 dozen donuts in these flavors: frosted with raspberry drizzle, regular glazed, peach tart frosted coconut, coffee cake, french toast and powdered. The service was great as we watched them make them all. It's not a regular stop in and eat store, which is what we wanted, but they do have a few stools and a counter top that faces the outside if you do want to get a coffee and a quick donut. I highly recommend this franchise just for the experience and delicious donuts. read more

Duck Donuts is always a must have whenever I'm in the vicinity of one. I love the creativity with the flavors and menu items. The service was ok. There is seating available but it seemed everyone does carry out. Everything appeared to be clean. There is street parking and garages near. Overall, I was happy with my food and I will continue to stop by Duck Donuts whenever I can. read more

No order forms like a normal Duck Donuts which made ordering a little stressful. I saw some of the toppings being mixed together and dripped into each other so beware if u have an allergy or picky eater read more

I brought my girls down to pick up some donuts yesterday. We came earlier and there was a huge line but they had had someone call out. The staff was working hard. Once we ordered we were told it would be about 20 minutes but they had it done quicker than that. The donuts were amazing! My daughters commented some of the best I've ever had. And we had a good mix and everything which tasted great. It was kind of a typical shop so there wasn't anything special to the environment I thought. But it wasn't bad. Loved our first trip to Duck Donuts and will definitely be back sometime! read more

Duck Donuts - chowed down!! - Donuts Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Who doesn't love duck donuts?! They are amazing. This location is way too small for the amount of people that come to pick up donuts. They have one prep station for donuts and they are hustling like crazy to get orders to customers. They have online ordering as well so that would save the headache or waiting in a long line. The line was insane for 8am. We ordered a half dozen donuts. I really wish the cashier would have told me they were out of peaches when ordering. I felt on the spot when picking up to pick another flavor to replace my peach pie. I was bummed the only donut that was for me was peach. No such luck. Employees we friendly. The owner of this location should seriously consider adding another donut prep area to help staff read more

Fresh made to order donuts by diligent staff!! The gentleman who took my order said I could pick and choose a variety of donuts! He made the donuts right in front of me, so it was nice and warm! It has a cake consistency and the blueberry donuts were scrumptious! I also ordered the peanut butter chocolate chip donut and the s'mores! All were absolutely delicious bursting with flavor!!! The place is nice and clean and whimsical! Great for parties or as gifts for family and friends, or better yet, yourself!!! read more

We visited right when they open at 7 and that wasn't a great idea as there was a line so we returned in the afternoon around 1-much better. They ask you how many donuts you want right away so they can get them started as you decide on the flavors/toppings. A good amount of options so we took our time. We got a few varieties but Maple Bacon, Blueberry, Strawberry, Vanilla Coconut & S'mores were the ones that stood out. Very rich and "sugar rush" causing donuts! Interesting to see how quickly they dip and top the plain donut base. Definitely best when fresh and not as leftover. Friendly people behind the counter and lives up to what's on the box-"Warm, delicious & made to order." read more

This is the best chain for amazing donuts! I fell in love with the location out of Duck, NC. And I've been super excited that there's one here in Virginia Beach now. In fact, there are two. Where to begin? I'm like a kid in a coffee shop. I can watch the workers make donuts all day with fascination in my eyes and drool coming straight out my mouth. If you love sweets as much as I do, this is a spot to hit up! Of course they're a little more expensive than your typical Dunkin' Donuts, but it's worth it for the variety you get. They offer maple, lemon, strawberry and fudge icings, just to name a few of my favorites. Toppings are also included. You can get nuts, sprinkles, and even bacon! Lol! And on hot summer days, my favorite is the chocolate covered banana shake. So delicious! It's not even lunchtime and I'm ready for an ice cold shake! Will definitely be back! read more

What can I say, I am a sucker for donuts and having them made hot and your own toppings is just great. Can't go wrong with a warm maple bacon donut! Even at the beach they provide donuts super quickly and love that they ask before handing them over if everything looks good. Highly recommend stopping!!! read more

The website offers online ordering and delivery through uber eats. Placed and paid for my order and didn't receive my full order. Called restaurant to figure out how to resolve the issue and the employee couldn't help and hung up on me with no explanation. I proceed to the restaurant to pick up my other half of paid for order to not receive it due to the manager having to reach out to Uber eats to see if he would be reimbursed. This I didn't appreciate as if I was lying about the order and the customer satisfaction was definitely not there. read more

Seriously, who can pass up one of these fat pills? Yes, I am fully aware that the health conscious will claim they can. Duck has something for everyone. So just pretend for a moment that you can too and tell them you're interested in the vegan variant of the gluten-sugar-fat free version. I'll go with and you can enjoy the high fiber cardboard box while I indulge with the warm, iced, and bacon sprinkled taste treat. Bon Appetite!! The kids surprised me with a dozen for Father's day. These were delicious. Freshly made and with little wait time. The place was efficient, was entertaining just watching everyone working in sync with one another. Sure it is slightly pricier then other donut shops but you get a personal touch here. Now I would come here all the time but once in a while I would most definitely stop here or any other location. Also there is a Starbucks next door to get an over priced coffee or tee. My teenagers were in heaven, lol. Also the place was clean and well kept up. read more

The donuts were soo good! So many options, & they were freshly made so they we actually had to let them cool a bit before eating. Not sure I've ever had a donut so good. Cute shop too! June '24 read more

I truly cannot understand the hype as well as the high reviews they have. Obviously, I made it my business to come check this place out for its unbeatable reviews and I am not at all impressed. I couldn't even find one normal classic donut, everything is just too much, like cotton candy or bacon something that are way over the top. I did not like the options they had, I also didn't like how they couldn't make just a normal donut, not one. It is set up like a fast food place where you order and pick up and go. Most donut was made hours prior and not as fresh and overtly sweaty glass made it impossible to see the options they have. In short, if it is your thing, go for it. But this place was certainly not for me. read more

Apparently Duck donuts is a chain in Virginia. I recently discovered there's a few in North Carolina. The hubs and I decided on a quick trip to Virginia Beach for a walk on the boardwalk. Actually, it was to catch the sunrise and see the Neptune statue. The day before I had bookmarked Duck Donuts, but didn't think we would stop by. Well our walk off the boardwalk to shore shops ended up in-front of Ducks. There was a line of people waiting for it to open at 8am. So yes, we followed the masses and got in line lol. This would be our breakfast, besides isn't it the most important meal of the day. Only a few customers were allowed in at a time due to Covid. The donuts are made to order so it's fresh every time. They have an assortment of flavors and toppings, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The hubs ordered the sunrise, which was covered in lemon icing and raspberry drizzle. I had the blueberry pancake that was topped with powdered sugar. I love their two donut packaging. Sometimes people just want a few, and not have the pressures of ordering a dozen. Our donuts were hot and delicious. Mine was cakey and smothered with sweet blueberry goodness. This was a treat and not something to eat everyday. Otherwise, I would be wearing sweatpants for a while;) We would definitely come back and order a half dozen. Then build up to a full dozen for those treat days:) read more

How could I not get a picture of the donuts I got?! Because they are that delicious we devoured them lol. I managed to get a pic of my son's donuts (half time of a glazed and half a strawberry iced sprinkle). I ordered A chocolate and a strawberry sprinkle two original glazed and two lemon raspberry. They are so good, I do still have a soft spot in my heart for Krispy Kreme. Duck Donuts is 2nd place for me. I love the assembly line they have and enjoy watching them make each donut. I love these donuts and make sure I grab some every time I come to the beach. The flavors are truly delicious.

Ate here post Dash and Splash 2018 race and it was great! The service was outstanding. We walked in and were instantly greeted with a "Welcome!" and a smiling face. Which was very nice and helped direct our attention to where we needed to go to order. The girl behind the counter was very helpful explaining how to order our food and how the doughnuts were made. My boyfriend and I decided on 5 different doughnuts, and were then told that for $.10 more we could get a half dozen. UGH! FINE PULL OUR LEG. haha. So we went with the half dozen. We got a 2 maple bacon types, an oreo mint, a blueberry, a glazed coconut and an "almond joy" (no almonds just peanuts). My boyfriend said the blueberry was his favorite. It must have been really stinking good SINCE HE DIDN'T OFFER ME A BITE -_- haha. My favorite was the one with bacon with a maple glaze. The mint was terrible and the others were okay. But heres the thing, everyones tastebuds are different. What you need to know is that these doughnuts are BOMB. They are made fresh right there so all of the toppings are like oozing and sliding off of the fresh, hot doughnut. So be prepared to get your fingers sticky because you're going to be using it to scrape all that sugary goodness off the bottom of the box. These are a very "cake-y" like doughnut too. SWEET as can be--in the best possible way! Right before we left one of the guys who made our doughnuts showed them to us before he boxed them up. I thought this was pretty cool. It felt like a gesture of making sure the customer was 100% happy in their order before being sent off to their own personal food heaven. He was REALLY nice and very happy to help me set up my picture when I asked if I could snap a pic. Really really impressed with the service, the staff, and DUH the food here. Definitely a place to go if you're around 31st in the morning... afternoon...or dinner! Because when is it a bad time to eat a doughnut? Actually, this will probably be my boyfriend and I's new "post race" carb up- since so many of VB's races are close by this spot. YAY! Thanks for being awesome Duck Doughnuts! read more

Visited for the first time yesterday.... Girls were very friendly. I'm not a big fan of the cakey type doughnuts but these were very fresh and soft. When my box of a dozen was handed to me the bottom was super hot and I thought oh boy because sometimes HOT doughnuts are not a good thing..I got them home and opened the box and they smelled AMAZING...I did notice they were a bit sloppy, due to being so HOT ...chocolate had that "poured, melted and almost evaporated and thin" appearance...several were PRETTY STUCK to the bottom of the box and we had to use a fork to loosen em up...but we did and they were all yummy. read more
