    Build Your Own Dozen
    Kristin A.

I ordered a build your own dozen from the EB Duck Donuts location as a gift. With over 30 flavors to choose from, I selected 12 different varieties for the box. I appreciated that the order receipt included not only the name of each donut but also a description of each flavor. The recipient enjoyed most of the donuts, though she found the blueberry frosting on the blueberry pancake donut too sweet and wasn't a fan of the thin mints flavor. She really liked the French toast, coffee cake, and cinnamon bun options. I wish there was a Duck Donuts nearby so I could try them myself. The recipient did express some concern about the shop's location, as previous businesses in that shopping plaza--a salad place and a frozen yogurt shop--had both closed down.

This donut shop had been on my radar for a while now and I'm glad I finally got to try it out. They have so many options to choose from along with seasonal options but I opted to create my own. I went with a s'mores vibe but with the added chocolate sprinkles. When I ate my donut it was nice and warm and I couldn't put it down. The donut here are the cakey type but weren't heavy at all.

I picked up a dozen donuts to bring to my office and they were a huge hit! The donuts are warm and made fresh right in front of you. They're all a vanilla cake type donut and the staff tops them with any variety of flavored glazes that you ask for. You can create your own combination or choose from a menu selection. The flavors are out of this world! I got the Breakfast Box which consists of one each of these creative flavors: Cinnamon Sugar, Coffee Cake, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, Blueberry Streusel, French Toast, Bacon in the Sun, Cinnamon Bun, Cookies and Cream, Maple Bacon, Peanut Butter Fluff, Glazed, and Blueberry Pancake. Duck Donuts does not offer filled donuts such as Boston Creme or a Jelly Donut. This store is at the Midstate Mall on Route 18. It's in the corner all the way at the back, next to the Amsterdam Smoke Shop and close to Rai Rai Ramen. There's lots of free parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. The space has been newly renovated and is clean with big windows. I went on a sunny afternoon and it was very bright inside. I highly recommend you come here if you like donuts!

I'm a doughnut girl through and through. At Parents weekend at SBU they had a Duck Donuts Stand. So we got three different kinds to try. The strawberry sprinkles, the Oreo and the maple bacon. The maple bacon was the best! Sweet and salty. The Oreo came in second. The doughnuts are soft and chewy and alittle sweet with the frosting. They were delicious the perfect treat on a rainy day.

Got 1/2 dozen donuts and it was 5/5... warm and delish! Customer service was superb! Ive been there a few times and the service is maintained.

Aesthetically pleasing but not aesthetically pleasing to eat.

My sisters and I looking for a little sweet treat and heard good things about duck donuts. We were very let down. Definitely overrated. We got the dozen pack with a very wide assortment. All of them tasted the same with bland same tasting frosting. The workers were like not very interactive with the customers but it's alr. They looked really good tho. I'm really regretting my decision.

First things first, this place smells heavenly ! With that said, STAY FOCUSED once you see all the available options. You can either use the kiosk to place your order or for those who prefer a personal interaction there's a person at the register. It's definitely an experience as they make the donuts in front of you. They are fresh, warm, and definitely some of the best donuts I ever had! On this order, we ordered a 1/2 dozen donuts (glazed, midnight madness and sunrise, to name a few) and a birthday cake milkshake. The milkshake was so YUMMY. Will definitely return and definitely recommend. The donuts hit the spot and take care of the sweet tooth. Enjoy.

From the outside it looks small, but there's a roomy back area with plenty of seating. The coffee was fantastic and came in a small carafe--perfect for two cups, though they offer larger sizes too. Their frittata selection is impressive, with so many delicious options. I went with the bacon, egg, and cheese topped with their famous cheese sauce. Trust me, you need to try it. We also ordered the Egg Benny--omelette pieces topped with home fries, bacon, sausage, and that same signature cheese sauce. Another winner. Ask for their jelly!!!! Wink wink!!! Our server was wonderful--constantly checking in, refilling our water, and making sure we had everything we needed. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. You won't be disappointed.

A special shoutout to our server Monica, who made the experience even better. It has a nice, elevated atmosphere, so you should dress semi-formal. Prices are on par with other upscale restaurants. The food has always been excellent and the service as well, most of the time. You absolutely MUST get the Clothesline Bacon as an appetizer. Make sure you slice some pickle with it and squeeze a little lemon juice on top! The manager urged us to try it that way during one of our visits - we never looked back. Rather than eating in the dining area, we chose to sit at the bar for their Foxy Hour (Happy Hour) offerings. There are plenty of tables surrounding the bar as well. We had the Clothesline Bacon, 6 Oysters, Hipster Fries, Spicy Lobster Mac, and we each got the happy hour burger. Everything tasted great, but the hipster fries were a little greasy and lacked the shishito peppers they had last time. We finished off with the Eclair Trio dessert from the Specials Menu. On two separate occasions we were seated at an awkward table in the back of the restaurant, right near the kitchen service area and door to the outside patio. We weren't thrilled to be there, as there was constant traffic in and out of the kitchen and through the doors. I think they should just do away with those seats, so everyone can have a relaxing dining experience no matter where they're sat. If you've got a special occasion coming it, Orchard Park is worth checking out!

It is a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and cute simple decor that has a communal feel. The specials menu had some fun and exciting choices for st Patrick's day! There was also a listing for blueberry pierogies which we decided we just had to try. I think the concept is exciting and new- but the inside of the pierogies were only blueberries which weren't very sweet. We thought it could be even better with the addition of a sweetened ricotta, cream cheese, or mascarpone inside to compliment the berries. There was a drizzle of some kind of icing which was tasty and went well but there wasn't enough of it. We ordered our meals from their regular menu. They must have polish roots because pierogies and kielbasa show up on the menu a few times. I saw "pierogie omelet" and was sold. You can tell their pierogies are freshly made and it makes all the difference. I probably wouldn't get the omelet again because it was kind of a lot happening at once, however, next time I go I think I definitely would like to get the pierogi platter they offer because I enjoyed the kielbasa and pierogies so much. My sister got a strawberry arugula salad with crispy chicken. I did not try it but I tried a piece of chicken and it was deliciously crisp. She said everything was really good and the strawberries were perfect and ripe. My mom, who got the protein pancake with fruit on side agreed. My other sister got a tuna wrap which she also enjoyed. I also like that they do a 1/2 tea 1/2 lemonade with your choice of flavor. I got the raspberry and it was delicious - not too sweet but the flavor was there.
