    Bánh tét from the store

Paid $64 for 2 bánh tét, and this is what we got. It's overpriced for this type of quality, too much mung bean, too little meat, tasteless and the mung bean/sticky rice weren't cooked well either.

I was trying to find a location to purchase cha lua (Vietnamese pork sausage wrapped in banana leaves) and this place came up on Yelp. I bought four cha luas for $30 which I thought was a really good deal considering how big and dense they are. They were still warm when I got them so I assume they were fresh and they were really tasty! I'll be returning here when I need more!

Duc Huong, famous among the Vietnamese community in Little Saigon for their gio cha. It is like a vietnamese sausage that Vietnamese eat. The prices are pretty high, but you the quality and taste of it is one of the best you can have. It is definitely my favorite gio place to go to! The lines can get kind of long especially during peak seasons like Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet) time!

This place is where you can get all your Vietnamese sausage/snacks. I like how clean this shop is and located in the plaza where there's plenty of spacious parking. There are various types of sausage here. I like the taste of the Cha lua the best. I came here because my friend said that's where he usually gets Cha lua at too. He did not let me down and a small sausage is only $4.50, the big sausage is $10. I felt that the price is very fair and affordable. It is CASH ONLY so be prepared to bring your cash money here. They do not take any care for the given fact that they don't have a credit card machine. The lady who was working there speaks enough of English to converse with and she was nice too. +try out their cha lua (the sausage wrapped in leaf) it's bomb! :D

The best Nuoc Mia(sugarcane drink) in town hands down. It comes mixed with the tiny oranges so it gives it the extra blast of flavor. If you have not had a sugarcane drink before, be careful. It is VERY sweet. If you are not much of a sweet drink type of person, it might not be for you. The have a bunch of misc other food there too but I always just go here for the Nuoc Mia. Note: CASH ONLY

    Cha hue

Always hot and freshly made gio (Vietnamese pork loaf) and cha hue. Thats their specialty and they're freaking good at it. CASH ONLY (like most other little Vietnamese shops and restaurants).

So, I bought a 1/4 sheet cake for my husband's birthday on purpose because I wanted leftovers!!! The fruit is fresh and plentiful. The cake has two regular cake layers, one layer of crispy pastry and a pudding layer all surrounded by delicious (not too sweet) fresh whipped cream)... This is my favorite kind of cake and if you'll compare the Yelp ratings on other bakeries who also sell a similar type cake, Long Phung Bakery wins!! They make them fresh daily and you can normally just walk in to get one, but call ahead to reserve!

It seems a bit messy, or maybe they need a bigger shop. Step further into the shop and there it is, the case of cakes! The case itself is old and the window to view the cakes is not clear, seems foggy. Hard to see the cakes. But with all the hype about this bakery on social media, I had to try it The Fruit Cakes are unique with fresh fruit not glazed or jam. Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. Friendly service, accommodating and responsive to our needs. We requested no kiwi due to one allergy to it and they make it within 10 minutes.

Anyone I've offered a Manmi cream puff to agrees with me. Cream puffs are 75 cents each. They're big and are generously filled with a custard cream. The pastry bit itself is fluffy and not too dense, unlike other puffs I've had. It's not too sweet, and if I don't watch myself, I'd easily eat a shameful amount of them in a single sitting. I usually pay in cash, but you can pay with card (except American Express) if you're okay with a small processing fee. There isn't much seating in the bakery, but there are a couple of chairs and tables to the left. From my experience, people usually just come and go. Service is standard and relatively friendly. 100/10 would recommend.

So she took my order and went next door to charge my card but I didn't know next door was a coffee place guess they link together. Funny thing was she didn't smile and the man who came after me she greeted him with a smile because they are of the same ethnicity. Language wasn't an issue here but to stare at customer like that I'm not coming back there ever again. Even though the cream puffs were so good very soft and not too sweet. I always go by first experience and impression. I will be looking forward other bakery's in Garden Grove.

I love that they offer both sweet and savory options, and their assorted box is a great value at around $15. One of my favorites is the salted egg yolk bao, which can be surprisingly hard to find elsewhere. It's perfect if you want something a little different, and then you can round out your order with a few sweet buns for dessert. Everything is always fresh, soft, and served quickly. What really stands out to me is the meat-to-bun ratio. Even though the buns look smaller, they're generously filled with meat. If you're someone who prefers a lot of fluffy white bun and less filling, this might not be your style. Personally, I love it because many of the larger bao I've had elsewhere are mostly dough with relatively little filling. Here, the portions feel much more balanced, making every bite satisfying. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality, variety, and great flavor.

Their claim to fame, the strawberry croissants, taste as spectacular, light, crispy, airy, and deliciously subtle and fruity as much as the original location. The main problem is they definitely seem to have way less stock on hand, and things can sell out fast. I had to come back another day for my favorite item of theirs, the rusk - extremely light and crunchy bites of buttery sugared mini toast. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful. I love that they carry bulk platters of their strawberry croissant and have them displayed right as you enter. They also have various other desserts and pastries, even some savory sandwiches and sushi, packaged goods, and coffee. I'm here pretty much just for their strawberry croissants and rusk, though their other items seem nice if you want goods for a convenient picnic.
