Dinner with my love then catching O El Amor for dessert. Summer on Long Island is Thee best! Having waterside views (and low tide smells), people gazing and cold drinks. Mostly pub fare and seafood dishes- lots o'fried food , burgers n such but it's the bar scene and crowd that makes this a hot spot. Revamped back area with yet ANOTHER bar in the back, along with extra bathrooms. Corn hole games galore, televisions abound and just a fun spot to drink, dance and listen to good, hometown artists who get everyone on their feet. Always a good time.

Beware! Opening time is 12 pm ... not 11am. Through no fault of their own, I did a quick google search to meet a friend for lunch and opening time came up 11, when I arrived 1130am I realized very quickly it was wrong by how few cars there were in the parking lot. No biggie we waited. We ordered the nachos for an appetizer, I feel like the waitress should have let us know this thing is HUGE, I didn't see it noted anywhere in menu and by the time it came out menus were gone, so my fault if i missed it. But I have to emphasize it is ENORMOUS. Like 4 people would have a hard time finishing it. I got the jacked up chicken wrap with regular fries took half home delicious and appropriately portioned for a wrap, tightly packed to perfection. My friend got a large burger with bacon and potato fries, no complaints. For cocktails Miami vice and blueberry tea but wonderful. This is literally the best place for summer vibes and cocktails. We sat on the porch in the upper bar area with an umbrella minimizing the blazing sun and a nice breeze. This was at the suggestion of the hostess who said the down patio would be a bit hotter. Although it's new decor is spectacular.

Great vibe. A little chaotic when we got there and tried to get seated, but it wasn't too bad. Food was good and the drinks were great. Hadn't been there in a while and we went for the music last night. I forgot how big this place was!

Super yummy!!!!! And the Bartenders are so fun, music and ambiance is very enjoyable. Great views

During Summer Saturdays, there is a live band playing in the evenings, which is great for energy. Sometimes, it may get packed so try to get in early otherwise you might have to wait. There is a bar with TV with sports for you to watch the game. Check in with the hostess, to sit at the bar, hightop tables, regular tables, or you can sit outside - if the weather is nice. You can always find something to eat...appetizers - to snack or share, seafood, pasta, salad, or panini. Go give them a try if you are in the area.

Because the first time my wife and I went here we were literally in the parking lot and weren't sure we were there. It's nestled in a residential neighborhood within Sunset Harbor Marina. An actual,,, well you know. This is a must go to place. They offer happy hour daily, all day Thursday. Reduced drinks and a really good happy hour food selection. Additionally, they have an extensive menu which features, seafood, steaks, pasta and burgers. On this occasion we went for the happy hour menu. Added bonus: trivia night. My wife and I are avid trivia participants and this one is pretty good if you're so inclined. Drink wise my wife went with her go to favorite, the Lemon Elderflower Gin Spritz which she proclaims is The Best Drink Ever! As a rum fan I grabbed a few Sunset Punches. A solid rum punch, not the best in Patchogue but good nonetheless. We ordered food from the happy hour menu. Shrimp corn chowder soup. Awesome. Chicken fingers were top notch. Antonio's baked clams were good. They are diced clams, heavily breaded and a bit salty. If you're like me and enjoy clams I'd go with the Clams casino off the regular menu. The atmosphere here is spectacular! Vacation atmosphere right here at home. Great vibe, friendly crowd. By the way, it's called Sunset Harbor for a reason. The sunset view here is spectacular! Open Thursday through Sunday. Live music each day. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. But, leave 2 seats at the bar. Ok?!

Alright... let's talk about it…read more Pulled up hungry and left FULL full. This spot did not come to play. Started off with the Caribbean wings -- and I'm not exaggerating when I say the flavor hit immediately. Sweet, savory, a little kick... the kind of wings where you pause after the first bite and just look at the person next to you like "yeah... these are serious." Then we got into the tacos. Shrimp tacos, jerk chicken tacos, pulled pork tacos, buffalo chicken tacos -- basically the whole lineup. Every single one was juicy, packed with flavor, and perfectly balanced. Nothing dry, nothing bland. Each bite was savory and satisfying like the kitchen really cares about what they're putting out. And the margarita flight? That sealed the deal. Different flavors, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the food. You could sit there with friends, sip through the flight, and just keep eating. By the end of it I was so full, but the crazy part is I still felt like I could keep working my way through the entire menu because everything was hitting like that. Great food, great drinks, great vibe. If you're thinking about coming here... **don't think too long. Just pull up hungr

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Paradise Lost accepts groups of 8 or less, unless you are requesting to book the space for a private event. Ages 21+ paradiselost.nyc @paradiselostnyc Paradise Lost is open everyday - 5pm-2am.

On Thursdays, they offer free boat rides which we didn't take but it was really nice that the option was there. It looked nice and calming out on the water and they had life vests for everyone. We saw a few families out on the boat rides and it looked like a cool addition to the evening. We ordered the Hey There, Sailor ( rum punch). It was delicious. Sweet and strong. We shared the crabby fries, which was good. My friends and I agreed that it would have been even better if the crab and the sauce (Or some other binding agent) were more incorporated but the fries were crispy and hot. I ordered the shrimp roll which came with chips which was pretty good and a nice size. I liked the picnic style tables and the overall vibe. It was like sitting in a friend/family members yard on the water and just relaxing with good food and drinks.
