I came around 1:45pm on Saturday and didn't have to wait in line. Note that they have a lunch break starting at 2:30pm. My friends and I each got a beef noodle soup and a pork chop fried rice to share. We also split the century egg with tofu appetizer (15% off with entree order). Ironically enough, the fried rice was my favorite. It was seasoned really well, wasn't too oily, but had that wok aroma. The pork chop was also seasoned well and the meat was high quality. I got the beef shank noodle soup with flat noodles. I am a wider noodle type of gal, but I think I would go with the thin noodles next time. Those feel more inherently "correct" for a beef noodle soup dish. I got 3 decently sized pieces of meat. Meat was really tender. Overall a delicious experience. Definitely one of my favorite beef noodle soup spots in the bay. It was $18 for the beef shank noodle soup. A bit pricier but a decent amount of food. read more

This place definitely satisfies my craving for a nice and hearty beef noodle soup! I got the mala garlic beef noodle soup and loved every last drop of that delicious spicy broth. The broth was filled with flavor. It had a decent amount of mala spice and flavor to it and the garlic was really prominent in this bowl of noodles. At first you would think that the spiciness isn't really kicking in until your nose starts to drip a little. The noodles were delicious as well! Al dente with every bite and each chopstick full really soaks up the broth, giving each strand of noodle a jam packed string of flavor. The beef itself was very tender and the tendon was near melt in my mouth. I keep thinking about the broth. The service was also superb! The waiters and waitresses were al super nice and gave us recommendations on what goes best with the broth and noodle types. All in all, solid spot! read more

Came here for dinner one night and it wasn't busy at all. There's a lot of seating inside and the service is fast. We got the regular beef noodle soup and the tomato beef noodle soup. We got thin noodles in one and thick in the other. Both the noodles are fresh, but I think the thick noodles have a better texture. Both broths are flavorful and the meat is tender. My favorite thing from this place though is the golden kimchi and the wintermelon lemonade. I would buy jars of the kimchi it's so good. read more

Each serving is enough for one hungry person, but when we came here, we were not so hungry so we had left overs for all of our orders. Shrimp fried rice is good...similar to the other places we would go to, nothing extraordinary. You can taste real tomatoes in the Tomato Sauce Dry Noodles. I like how thick the sauce is and how it holds in the noodle, you can savor the tomato flavor in every bite and chew. Beef Noodle has a herbal flavor and is not salty. The beef shank and tendon were tender. They give you a choice on what type of noodle you would like them to use. We used the handmade flat noodle for both our orders. It was silky and chewy. The texture was really good. Giving 4 stars because, although I like ithe beef noodle, I do wish it could have a stronger herbal flavor. read more

Came on Friday around 11:40am for lunch. Since they just opened for the day, it was not busy. The tables are a little close to each other like another review says, but the aesthetic of the place is nice and clean. The menu had more options than I anticipated - different kinds of beef noodles (beef shank, beef slices, and Three Treasure which has tripe shank and tendon), fried rice, and other types of soup noodles as well. You can also add $8 for a combo, which is adding a drink and side dish (normally they're $5 each). Drinks - they have milk tea (was ok, tasted like roasted oolong milk tea), black tea... etc. No boba. I got the Three Treasure beef noodle and combo, while my husband got the Beef Noodle Soup, no spicy. The dishes came out in less than 5 minutes. The cucumber side dish is alright, nothing too fancy, and husband's noodle soup was also just ok. He liked the broth, just a little too oily. As for mine, I enjoyed the spice level and flat noodles, but was a little sad that there were only 2 slices of tripe, 1 tendon, and 1 beef. For $18 a bowl, I would've expected more meat in it. This is my second visit. The location is excellent, featuring an accessible parking space and a clean atmosphere! My first visit was on a weekend, so it was much more crowded. However, it was pleasant during lunchtime on a weekday, with fewer people and quick service. It's so good and authentic to what you'd find in streets or night markets in Taiwan. This quick and easy meal is full of flavor and made with quality ingredients. The pork chops have a slight sweet taste to it that matches perfectly with the fragrant egg and scallion fried rice. I like to add some chili oil to it to really enhance the flavor and take it to the next level. They're always pretty busy and popular, even on the weekdays. When I showed up to pick up my food, the waitress told me the amount and took my credit card. After she charged my card, she gave me a detailed receipt and told me to check my order. This is when I noticed that she had put in an order for beef noodle soup instead of my dry garlic noodles. I brought up the mistake to her and she gave me a weird look and said, "We don't have dry garlic noodles." If you're out of the item, why would you substitute my order without asking me first? Then another employee came and asked, "You don't want the beef noodle soup?" I told her no because I don't eat beef. Then she asked me if I wanted another item and I said no. Kind of surprised how much this plaza is popping off - I feel like it is so different from all the other areas in Pacific Commons as the rest has more chain fast-casual restaurants (think Blaze and Halal Guys). I especially liked the tripe as it was able to pick up all the flavors of the broth. I didn't really enjoy the shank because I felt like there were still leftover intestine/blood taste to it which reminded me of liver. Overall, not a bad place to get noodle soup at all in Fremont, but won't be getting it with shank next time. Walked in around 5:30 pm om Saturday. Wanted to try their signature beef shank noodle soup with 3 cuts of noodles (hand, thin, flat). Tried the classic (mild) with flat noods and the napa pork dumplings. Friend and Hubs both have tried and claimed it was good. They were correct. It was VERY good. The nice balance of the beef soup had all the fat and oil skimmed. The flavor packed a punch, spicy but not unbearable, like burning as some Taiwanese places have. Every bite was definitely palpable. Hubs ordered the spicy version and it tasted about the same level as mine. Tolerable. The dumplings were freshly made and boiled. Skin was thin like wonton vs your traditional slightly thicker skin. The place was not crowded, so we picked a table that looked comfortable. I picked the super spicy G1, which was heavy, but really worth.
