My first time trying this Yunnan Miishien . I ordered to go and received this nice square container. It is tightly sealed so impossible to spill during the panda delivery . Inside the top layer is noodle , the bottom layer is the braised beef , vegetables and very hot soup . The beef is tender and flavorful. Plus I got six big chunks pieces . It tastes great . Normally the price is &12.99 but now is on special promotions for $9.99 . Great price and it was ready in 5 minutes ! . Definitely would like to return to try other items on the menu .

We were checking out the ranch 99 food court for a late lunch on Sat ~2pm and saw that this noodle place in the back was finally open. They had an opening offer of $9.99 per bowl so that caught our attention! Hubby and I tried two different noodles (shredded chicken and braised beef), both non-spicy. They came out surprisingly fast, likely because they're already premade and just needed to be plated. There is sauce at the counter if you want to add anything extra yourself. Despite the large bowls and great price, we were both a little disappointed. The soup tasted watered down instead of being rich and flavorful. The noodles were fine but the beef was tough. Not sure if we'll come back again :(

I've been here twice. Their non-spicy beef noodle was excellent. A very large portion. Well worth the price. $9.99! I can't think of any place that has noodle for that cheap. Yes it is tucked in the back of "Eat Up" so it can be tough to find it. But it is apparent that that most know it. So I imagine that there is return service. I definitely will return the try others.

Tucked into the corner of the food court called "EAT UP!" adjacent to 99 Ranch, this hidden noodle place is worth a shopping excursion and sit down at to fill your belly! They have small curated menu list of either rice or flour noodles. I had the non-spicy beef noodle bowl. It was pretty good. They give just the right amount of noodles to fill you to satiation and not get too overly distend. I do wish there was a bit more protein though. The beef is tender but spare. Did have 1 piece tendon in there too. Next time I get the regular "spicy" version as the broth is a tiny bit lacking without it. That being said they're quick to serve! The other fun fact is that we ordered some to take home also. They pack up everything into their restaurant branded carrying bag/ case! Super cute and reusable for a return here or other purpose!!! Update: I have to upgrade my rating bc we came 2 days in a row!! And had to drive 45min one way just to get here!!!

Believe it's newly opened as part of the food-court inside 99 Ranch Market. So far, good food, good price, good serving portions, and friendly staffs. In addition, guessing while supplies last (as part of the promotion), customers get a cute insulated lunch bag for takeout orders. Very nice, can't ask for anything more!

The braised beef noodles (non-spicy) was surprisingly good! The soup was flavorful and they gave a lot of noodles. My only complaint is there was too little beef. They also had self-serve chili oil and green onion if you want extra on the side. The pig ears was spicy and very well flavored (msg).

Tldr; good for a quick, easy lunch. This place is part of the food court in the 99 Ranch market. Free parking lot. Ordering, condiments, utensils and seating are self serve. The food is decent. The spicy pickles on the side = must have with the noodles. The regular bowl for ~$15 isn't too bad, given other noodles places are heading to the $20 range in the bay area :/ I saw other people order the chicken noodle, so that seems popular. Most of the dishes have a spicy/non-spicy option, but the base flavor seems to be peppery. I like that, but ymmv. Staff is quick to help if you need extra bowls, togo containers, etc.

We ordered mishien, it was good and flavorful. The kid meal was free, that saved us a lot of time. Will definitely come next time

Hidden gem in the Fremont 99 Ranch food court! 575 Mifen Express offers great quality rice noodles at an unbeatable price. The broth is rich and flavorful without being overly salty or full of MSG. The noodles are perfectly cooked and the toppings are generous and fresh. I especially love the chicken soup noodles and braised beef noodles. Don't miss their cold appetizers like the pig ear and scallion chicken--small portions but packed with flavor. Fast service, self-ordering, no tipping needed. I come here multiple times a week--it's my go-to budget-friendly comfort food spot!

Inside the 99 Ranch Eat Up food court on Mission Blvd. in Fremont. Self service. Good vibes. Lots of customers at this spot as you can see the food court tables are filling up with their white bowls. Yes, was itching to try these very affordable Yunnan noodle bowls since they offer the $9.99 bowls right now. Frugal eats. Order at kiosk and the order us ready within minutes. Lots to choose from. I decided to go with the spicy braised beef soup noodle bowl $12.99. To me, everything tastes nearly the same, whether you pay more or less. Very delicious and tasty as usual. My beef cubes were good quality. Although it's listed as spicy, the soup base tasted excellent with only a pinch of hot spice. This is not burning hot taste, so it's more natural with good soup base. Noodles were actually much thicker and longer in length than anticipated. I actually like thinner noodles, but it's ok here. They do add lots of red oil, so if you're going to drink up all the soup, just know that they are heavy in oil. Scallions and other ingredients were generous in my bowl. Very fulfilling large bowl and very satisfied. I wish my order came with a tray for dine-in because carrying the white bowl was hot to touch. No, they don't hand out trays like most places inside food courts. You still get paper chopsticks and plastic spoons which I dislike for hot foods with soups. Overall, good yummy tasting noodle place. Definitely try all other menu selections. Inexpensive.

Craving hit me last minute right before they closed, so I called to ask if I could still come. To my surprise, they were super kind and said they'd wait for me! When I got there, they welcomed me warmly and still prepared everything fresh, no rush at all. The Yunnan noodles were amazing as always -- rich broth, fresh toppings, perfect spice. I'm so grateful for their hospitality and patience. Not every place would do that close to closing time. This spot truly cares about their customers. I'll keep coming back!

It's a small place, but they were able to position all the tables and chairs so that there's room to move around. Ordering was convenient. We were able to scan the menu at our table and paid quickly remotely. Our food came out on a timely manner. We were able to try the Clam ramen, Hinodeya ramen, and the Tonkatsu. They were all delicious and very much to our liking. Presentation is something i noticed they take pride in. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted promptly, the decorations on the front entrance is what lured us in. The tables all had a tiny lamp that you can turn on and off. All the servers were wearing coordinated attire with the restaurant logo on it. They were all attentive to our needs and constantly filled up our water and took empty dish away when the table started to feel tight/crowded. All Ramen we tried had the WOW bursting with flavors. I highly recommend this place.

If it's your first time trying ramen and don't want to go too crazy, you can try this. It is very delicious, but if you've had regular tonkotsu ramen before, I highly recommend trying the Kuro or Aka! 5/5 - Kuro Tonkotsu Ramen - The black garlic oil really enhances the tonkotsu flavor in a smoky, umami way. If you haven't tried a black garlic oil broth, I highly recommend you try it here! You will not be disappointed. 5/5 - Aka Tonkotsu Ramen - My personal favorite of the ramen bowls we all tried here. The spicy level can be adjusted and was exactly the spice level we thought it would be (we chose Level 2). The flavor is a bit more elevated than the regular tonkotsu ramen, likely from the spice that you should not find too overwhelming. 5/5 - Chashu Don (Appetizer) - The rice and chashu makes this its own little meal and is super savory and filling...as an appetizer! This is great to share with your party, and it seems to taste differently from the chashu you get in your ramen. You won't regret trying this! 5/5 - Chicken Karaage (Appetizer) - The chicken in this dish was very juicy, and the portions were huge! The sauce they give also compliments this well. You won't be disappointed with choosing this for an appetizer.

LENT 2026: GOOD FRIDAY LUNCH…read more The first time I ate at Toro Sushi Stone Grill & Bar was the last Saturday of February for my mom's birthday. We had a private room for the party. Out of food that was served I really enjoyed eating the sashimi, which was presented on a platter. I also liked grilled salmon. During Lent I wanted to come back to Toro for lunch. I thought about getting sashimi or grilled salmon when I came back. A couple days before coming to Toro for Good Friday lunch I looked at the menu online. Why pay for the dishes I ate before? One of the dishes that intrigued me was the baked unagi fried rice. However the baked salmon fried rice sounded enticing. Also one of the appetizers sounded interesting was the sashimi pizza. My plan was to order an appetizer and an entree for Good Friday lunch. On Friday when I got a table I looked at the menu. The lunch special listed unagi don. Then I started thinking to myself. Why do I have to eat only fish on Fridays during Lent? Vegetables are permitted during Lent Fridays. I looked at the salad menu and one item intrigued me was the avocado salad. Instead of getting a sashimi pizza for an appetizer I choose avocado salad. Knowing a salad would not be filling I ordered the crispy salmon skin roll. For entree I ordered the unagi don. I'll start with the crispy salmon. A lot of people don't like to eat crispy skin of a fish. I love it. The crispy salmon skin roll is a filling roll due to the sauce, which adds flavor to the rice. Instead of a roll I would like to see crispy skin salmon as an appetizer as it would be similar to a chicharron. Regarding the avocado salad I liked how avocado wasn't skimpy in portion. There's one thing I don't like in salad and that is water. I understand cleaning the lettuce to get rid of the dirt, but the lettuce better be dry instead of water dripping at the bottom on the bowl. I came here for the unagi don. I felt I made a right decision of ordering the unagi don instead of the baked unagi fried rice. With the steamed rice I could taste the eel whereas the fried rice would've overpowered the eel. The unagi don was a filling dish and I believe if I ordered a baked unagi fried rice I would have felt bloated. On this last Friday during Lent I enjoyed my lunch at Toro Sushi Stone Grill and Bar. I liked the sashimi that was served for my mom's birthday party than what I ordered during Good Friday. I can see myself coming here again. Maybe next time I try the stone grill items.
