This is particularly true at the back desk, where the two women I have encountered there seemed like I was asking them a huge favor to leave their chair and help me locate something. They are surprisingly unfriendly for a local business in a small town. The cashiers are also unfriendly. They are all milling around the desk, but no one chats with you or shows any interest. I can't tell what the problem is, as it seems like a perfectly nice place to work, but everyone acts like they hate their job.

Honestly it was nice to find this store because it's nice to talk to someone who isn't trying to make a sale by ripping me off. They may not have it in stock but they can get anything quickly and with fair prices. I prefer ro support small businesses because years of expertise come with the service instead of a clueless zombie that will give you anything to shut you up and get you to leave.
