Unprofessional service and repeated hang-ups from so called manager that wouldn't provide name! I would give negative stars if I could. I've never felt so disrespected and belittled by a company. I called about my car being towed, and the woman on the phone, who said she was the manager, gave me the address and the amount due, then hung up as I proceeded to give further insight and ask other questions. She didn't just hang up on me once, but TWELVE times. Each time I called back, she repeated the bare minimum info of what SHE FELT I needed to know before hanging up again. She even accused me of "acting childish" when I was just trying to speak without being interrupted by her repetitive responses. After five years of living at my residence with no towing issues, this was deeply frustrating. Yes, I understand my parking tag wasn't hung properly to be "visibly" seen--that's on me. But the rude and dismissive behavior I experienced is unacceptable. At this point, my issue wasn't even that my vehicle got towed, it was her and her rude, dismissive, entitled behavior. When I got to the window to pay, I was approached by the same person i spoke to on the phone, as her entitled voice annoyed me even more now that I was able to put a face to this interaction. As the miserable looking, blonde haired, eye-glassed faced individual took my id and payment, I was going to attempt to ask for her name again since we were now face to face. But after taking my payment, she rushed through the pickup instructions, which I barely heard, and closed the window before i can get a word out. I wasn't trying to avoid payment. I just wanted basic respect and a constructive conversation. Car was towed while the emergency light was on and not when parked. At 8:30pm, when we called, the rude person who responded the call said to come at "9 o'clock". Us thinking maybe 9pm. Google shows their business is closed. Called back to confirm if he means 9am and we had to drop off kids to school the next day so if possible to pick it up now since it was just towed. The rude guy started cursing F word and yelling at us for asking question. We were in total shock and not understanding who this guy is. I have never in my life experienced for a private business or any legal business to curse at their customers F words. I was so shocked that in my mind I thought maybe they are police that they have that much authority and power to curse and yell but not even police do that. I live in battery heights and they just patrol and tow cars at random when they have cars sitting for months that should be towed. before living in battery heights I stayed with my fiancee over night M-F for a year and a half without being towed no visitors pass or parking pass. she got towed for dead tags and inspection sticker. tags are not dead and inspection wasn't able to be done due to not having the stickers come in the mail. the inspection went dead after the 15 days to drive the vehicle without the new stickers. they are predatory in how they tow and take the cars that "need to be towed" when they want. I'm driving through the lot I see many vehicles needing to be towed. The morning after she was towed, if your going to tow one tow them all. I was told it's because they have a small lot. If that's the case get a bigger lot or get a secondary lot like most tow companies. read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY! They towed my car for "expired tags" when they were not expired. This is not the first time dealing with these assholes. There is PLENTY of cars in my neighborhood parked in reserved spots that are not theirs, and two with registration stickers from 2 years ago, yet they HAVE NEVER BEEN TOWED. When I brought this up, they said they are out every night checking every single car in the neighborhood which is a lie! They pick and choose who to wrongfully steal money from. Was towed for a visitors violation that HOA added that we were not aware of. Simply asked the operator what violation if I had a visible tags and basically was cursed out and called stupid. I never cursed or was rude and as a homeowner in the community they tow and make money from we deserve a little respect and understanding $230 per tow that we did not want is a bit upsetting to anyone. I have had multiple run ins with these guys along with some of my guess and its never a pleasent experience. I was not able to get my car safety inspection done because of the snow that hit in early January. The car was on a private street and the snow plows put up a 2'-3' tall snow embankment that was impossible to pass. It did not begin to thaw until late Saturday evening it began to thaw some and that's when this predatory tow company stole my vehicle in the middle of the night. They ripped it through the remains of the snow embankment and impounded the car. It would be predatory enough on its own, but as of March 2021 police can no longer ticket individuals for outdated inspection stickers for 4 months. If a public safety officer cannot ticket me, why can the worst examples of humanity like DTR towing impound my vehicle? Hopefully the law is amended this year to include predatory extortion rackets like DTR towing. If you are considering using their firm to enforce parking in your neighborhood, please consider a more reputable firm. They should not be using a communities desire to keep inoperable vehicles off their street to extort residents for petty fines. read more

When I confronted them, of course they lied, but all of my neighbors, and us, have security and doorbell cams that plainly show their driver never took the time to even check to see if the car had all wheel drive. I just watched these crooks come into my neighborhood and get out and start hunting cars. The guy finds one. It's a front wheel drive car and it's pulled in to the spot. He didn't care he dragged that car against its transmission out into the parking lot so he could flip around and tow it the other way. The noise that car made he was dragging was horrendous. Wow...I have never ever in my life seen people as rude as the ones that work here. Our car was towed as we were going to it. The tow truck had all of its lights off (it was night time). The driver saw us and very very quickly grabbed the car and sped off. We have a camera in front of our house and you can hear the scraping in the video. We have checked the car and there are several scratches on the car. We go to get our car and just have a few simple questions to ask about the fees but the old cranky lady was very hostile the second we walked in. She doesn't answer any of our questions, she slammed the window in our face, starts cursing at us, and threatens to call the cops. Which they end up showing up. Even the COP said this place is horrible and kinda laughed it off cause they were called for no reason. After reading the reviews, it shows that we were not the only ones that went through a bad (more like horrific) experience. I'm so so so shocked at the fact that they are still open.
