Let's start off by saying that it's extremely difficult to find a good pedicure in West Kendall/…read moreeven miami .. I've had several that you're in and out in 35 minutes and you still pay a whole bunch of money. I've also been at places for two hours and still left disappointed. Miami Nail Bar has a loyal customer as long as my tech is still there. I've had a few techs here and there throughout the years, they also come and go. But after I met Barbara, everything changed for me. I will not go anywhere else or to anyone else for my pedicure. I've "cheated" on her in the past and instantly regret it. She understands me because i have an issue with my foot- her mother also has the same issue. I'm truly writing this review because she goes above & beyond and is kind even through the language barrier. When I met her, she was learning English. Now she's able to ask me questions in English and it's so impressive to me. She has a heart of gold and truly gives me the expectation and experience that you should receive at Miami Nail Bar. She paints perfectly, and takes her time throughout the whole pedicure. They do have three categories for their pedicures. Ranging from $40-100 with different themes and add-ons such as parafin & hot stones etc . I typically get the deluxe pedicure + gel polish, no matter what because they include the parafin and hot stones for $$70 but that does not include gel which is a $15 additional charge. My favorites would have to be Cleopatra or Sex and The City. As I said, it's definitely not "the cheapest pedi in miami" so if you're looking for a $35 including gel price this is not going to be your place. But the ambience feels trendy and inviting. Usually you're given two options for pedicures not 10-15 ! I've had no chipping on my toes for at least five weeks. I'm a busy mama. I don't always have time to go every 2-3 weeks. At other places, I've had problems with chipping within days... side note with certain purchases you receive a complimentary beverage. Ranging from things like bottled water, soda, and a hand crafted beverage menu which is thoughtful. I don't mind spending my hard earned coin here. Thank you Barbara and MNB

I will not be returning to this nail salon after the way my concerns were handled during my most…read morerecent visit. I went in hoping to relax and disconnect while having my pedicure done, but the owner approached me during the service and told me that I could no longer wear my UV-protection gloves during my manicure because they supposedly cause my nail technician, Any, to take longer. The owner also told me that the salon had always scheduled extra time for my appointments because of the gloves, but that they could no longer continue doing so. This did not make sense to me because I book my own appointments online, just like any other customer, and no one has ever contacted me to say that extra time was being added. I have also forgotten the gloves on several occasions, so the claim that they have always made special scheduling accommodations for me does not appear to be accurate. During my previous appointment, Any went to the bathroom approximately four times, which may have contributed to the appointment running behind. Any was also noticeably irritated and in a bad mood during that visit, which made the experience uncomfortable. The manicure from that appointment did not last. My nails chipped and broke much sooner than they should have. The owner blamed the UV-protection gloves, but my pedicure did not last either, and I obviously do not wear the gloves on my feet. For that reason, blaming the gloves did not make sense to me. Although Amy can usually make my nails look nice initially, the pedicure itself has never felt thorough. The service description includes scrubbing and a massage, but she does not properly scrub my feet with a pumice stone, and I do not receive a meaningful foot massage. After spending more than $100, my feet should feel noticeably smoother. I have had many pedicures throughout my life, and this is not how feet should feel immediately after receiving a professional pedicure. The main reason I continued coming to this salon was convenience because it is located near another place I visit regularly. Unfortunately, convenience is not worth being blamed for poor results, or leaving without receiving the full service advertised. The way the owner approached me made me feel uncomfortable rather than valued as a paying customer. With so many nail salons nearby, I recommend going elsewhere.

Oh girl where do I even begin.... let me start off by saying I refuse to get my nails done…read moreelsewhere. I've been coming here to Sandy's studio for well over a year now and I'm not stopping anytime soon. She has been the only person who has actually been able to grow out my nails. I've always had short stubby nails and they've grown so much, I almost can't believe they're real! She is a true artist and expert! I've done so many different cool designs and she only gets better and better. Her gel manis last so long, much longer than other places I've been to in the past, which is yet another reason why I'm not going anywhere else EVER. I saw a previous review that mentioned her manicure didn't last, I'm just wondering if she's confusing Sandy for another studio (since it's in a beauty mall) because her manicures LAST LONG, like long enough to grow your nails big time. I could attach a whole album of my nails, but I'll just show you how short my nails used to be compared to how long they are now (shiny blue nails are the most recent).

I went to this nail salon because I was in the area... I walked in and a woman took me right away…read morefor an acrylic manicure! the women there were very nice! It did take longer than usual, which I was free so that didn't really matter to me. Just expected if they took a long time then my nails would be stunning. There was nothing wrong with the actual people. But the quality of nails was down right bad. I asked for square but more round, didn't get what I asked for so I had to physically round out ACRYLIC nails, which is not easy. Also I'm writing this post a week after I got my nails done and 5 of my nails have completely tore off or chipped. Never wasting $50 here again, best if you find another place! Mind you this is 7 days before my wedding day.... I was hoping to have these while family and friends were here , for parties and gatherings before my big day. EPIC FAIL

A little pricey but definitely a great clean and quiet place to get your nails done…read more Everyone was nice and the place very high end looking and comfortable

I came in as a walk-in and explained that I wanted builder gel on my natural nails with a gel…read morepedicure. I was told the builder gel would be $95 and the pedicure $55. Even though I already felt the pricing was high, I agreed. Once I sat down, the extra charges started adding up for literally every little thing. Two of my nails were broken--$15 to fix them. Fine. Then I asked for my natural nails to be shaped almond--another $10. That's where I became confused. If I'm already paying $95 for builder gel on my natural nails, what exactly does that $95 include if basic shaping isn't included? Then I was told cuticle care would be another charge as well. At that point, it felt like every single step of a basic nail service came with an additional $5, $10, or $15 fee. I was looking at spending close to $300 for a simple, one-color builder gel manicure on my natural nails and a gel pedicure. That is absolutely ridiculous. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of hospitality. No one was welcoming, no one tried to explain the pricing properly, and I felt like I was being treated as a dollar sign rather than a customer. The entire interaction came across as rude, unprofessional, and extremely money-focused. I ended up getting up and leaving without receiving the service. I will not be returning. For prices this high, you would at least expect professionalism, transparency, and good customer service--and unfortunately, I received none of that.
