I can't believe some of these reviews. I always say people need to work retail at some point in their lives to appreciate business owners. Customers act like they have no home training. The location is in the middle of nowhere before the city but it's in a newer shopping center not dirty at all. Also these reviews about her being overpriced is a load crap. You want top notch nails be prepared to pay top notch money! You want cheap nails expect cheap nails! Jen Lin is hardworking and trying really hard to fight the negativity from un-appreciative customers while still trying to service the appreciative ones to the best of her ability. I walked in with pain since I had an ingrown nail and Ashley was so patient with me since I was freeking out she sure did take me out of pain and saved me a trip to the doctors office! Hidden gem in Perris. I recommend this place. Way better than exotic nail salon. The owner will take care of your nails. that's for sure!

I love, LOVE Jen. She's very friendly and accommodating. I've been coming here consistently for 2 years and the first time I stopped by was to fix a set of coffin nails I originally got from a shop in riverside. I was so upset with them I told Jen to just take them off and she said she would try her best to salvage them because they were a few days old and my natural nail would damage with removal. An hour later I felt like a whole new person. Ever since then I've been coming here for my gel sets and I only see Jen but I hear the pedicures from other nail techs are really good! I've recommended her to my mom, sister and I even bring my grandma here every Mother's day. In my opinion she's worth the drive and the money. If you have any issues with your nails, speak up before you leave! She'll gladly fix it. read more

My review is seriously past due, I have nothing but great things to say about this place ! I was in town visiting family the first week of September and I decided to treat my aunt to a pedi. They did such a great job , Jen Lin is very patient and pays great attention to detail ! I ended up getting a full set as well as eyebrow wax. It has been a month that I've had my full set. The nails did not lift , break off nor turn yellow, I'm back in town again and here I am getting a fill and a pedi. I hope they stay in business for a long time. You will not regret it. read more

First and last time going here my nails only lasted about a week, nails were bubbly and started cracking on the side then just broke off went back with Jen she did a good job and fixed the one that cracked and the one that broke off but now another one broke off ugh! Worse nail place I've ever been to and I've been to many. I walked in with an appt. No one greeted me. I waited over an hour to find out that owner thought I wasn't coming. I called on the phone at 5. She said 30 minutes. I got there right before 5:40. If someone would have said something to me before I found out they had another appt at 6:30 i wouldn't have wasted an hour on a Saturday sitting there. Owner said I could wait til after the 6:30 appt. I looked on my phone and seen a place I've been to before called tully's and they are open on sundays too. I just walked out. This place is a joke. Owner also lied and said she waited 20 minutes for me. Again if someone would have talked to me then we would have had better communication. I come from Irvine, just came here because my boyfriend wanted to see his friends. This place was the 1st nail place that caught my eye. The main lady is so nice! She did my nails (gel manicure and regular pedicure and also did my eye brows) she was perfect and very sweet. I recommend anyone here. The two lady's are very nice. Girlfriend went in for a simple pedicure. She was being attended by this African woman. It has been an hour and 30 minutes and in all that time she barely managed to take off the nail polish. She would answer her phone while working and started to eat a strawberry while "working" on the pedicure. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience. read more

I do not write reviews often. But here goes my 3rd yelp review ever. I sent a message asking for an appointment with Jen Lin. I didn't receive a reply(understandable since it's a Saturday). I decided to walk in. I was greeted by, who I later found out to be Jen Lin, and asked for Jen Lin and she said "Jen Lin is busy right now", instead of introducing herself. She said anyone else would be great. I sat down in "the new girl's" station and she advised me that Matte topcoat would ruin fast and blah blah blah. I chose a color. I asked prices and she had absolutely no idea what the prices were. She looked to the price menu and asking Jen Lin what the prices were. Okay, OVERPRICED! So opted for only a gel mani. She proceeded to start removing the gel on my nails and asked "would you like for me to file it off or do you prefer soak?" GIRL SOAK! Hence the "soak off gel". She started to remove the top coat and as she was filing the top coat off the filer was way too high and she would start filing onto the bottom of my finger. Luckily she did not cut me. After one hand of horrible filing, I decided to get up and walk out of there. I moved to Perris from Los Angeles a year ago and have been to 4 different nails salons and have had a bad experience in all of them. Make it five with this one. I will continue to drive an hour away to get quality mani/pedis. I am convinced that Riverside County is not cut out for doing nails. Not to mention the extremely high price for the horrible service. read more

finally found a diamond in the rough of perris/menifee nail salons. after dealing with long wait times poor customer service botched nail jobs and untalented nail technician I finally found a shop that meets my needs and standards here at Jen lin. I came in today and got my nails gel manicure pedi custom design lashes and a facial done and was pleased with all services recieved. pricing was great customer service was wonderful. I normally never write reviews, but I have been here twice with my daughter and we both have come out of there very happy. The times that I have been there I have seen that they have a lot of regulars which says a lot of that place and the people that work there. I like that they take their time with you and they don't rush it by that being said if you do walk in without a appointment and they are busy they will let you know it's going to be a while cause they don't rush their work I saw them turn down clients cause they were busy so my advice is to make a appointment. read more

Referred by a friend. Called ahead of time to see if they were still taking appointments. The Lady asked my name and gave me a time to show up in 45 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes early and there was no sign-in. Two ladies ahead of me walked out and seemed frustrated with the wait. I was asked by a man what I was there for I told him a gel manicure and I called ahead of time they said to show up at 6:30. Around 6:45 I was asked again what I was there for and was told I would not be seen until 7:15 or later because there were clients ahead of me. The place was completely empty at this point besides the three clients in chairs. I reminded them that I had set up an appointment. And the lady rudely questioned what number I had call then she got up frustrated. She looked at the front desk and asked who did you speak too there's no name written down. I read out the telephone number that was provided on Google. She repeated it out loud and smirked. She kept questioning if I called the right number. She sat down and started working on another client and I called the exact same number and watched them all ignore the phone ringing. I hung up and called again and let it ring once and then finally the same rude woman turned around to look at the phone and I pulled my phone up to show her that it was just me confirming this is the number that I called and gave my name. After this awkward interaction she says why don't you just go and pick out a color while you wait and I walked out. I understand that it's late I understand that people get tired. But I called ahead of time and asked if they were still accepting appointments. There's no need to treat anybody rude and cause an uncomfortable scene because someone did not write the appointment down. read more

I stopped by yesterday around 4:30 and gave this place a shot. I've had pretty bad experiences trying to find a quality nail shop! But I think I found it. The place wasn't hectic at all just maybe three people. The staff although there were only two of them they were both very polite. I went in for a full set and a pedicure. I believe Danny did my toes and let me tell you he did great. Paid good attention to detail and even went into detail when it came to things he didn't need to do. I can appreciate that. Now I don't know the name of the woman who did my nails but I'm pretty sure it's the owner jen Lin. She was very nice talkative and most importantly ATTENTIVE! I was very specific on what I wanted and didn't want showed her pics for reference. She took her time and paid attention to detail and made sure I liked my shape and so forth. I would say the only down side I can think of is that I didn't get cuticle oil put on after I washed my hands so my cuticles were rather dry but I dealt.
