This was my first time at this salon, great experience. I called around a few places to see where I could go with less than ten minutes notice for a builder gel fill and River Nail Spa was able to accommodate me + gave me honest pricing over the phone. Matthew was so kind, communicated with me clearly about my expectations, checked for my approval at every stage, and even worked quickly to accommodate my schedule. He was very careful not to damage my nails and paid amazing attention to detail. I love the outcome, they look exactly like my inspo picture. At checkout, the price was exactly what I was quoted on the phone ($50 for this specific set from my starting point). The salon itself is so cute, clean, has a great ambiance. I definitely recommend, especially because a lot of places in this area do not offer builder gel. read more

I used to really enjoy coming here but I think they took all the good experienced nail techs to their new location. I got a gel x full set short square. Every nail is a different length and majority of them are filed crooked. The man was rushed and he was obviously not feeling well because he was coughing and sniffing every couple minutes. The girl doing my pedicure was super sweet but not experienced. She cut my right big toe so short and immediately started apologizing. The other big toe was filed crooked AF, it looks like my nail is pointing to the left. I left with polish on the skin around my toes. For spending over $100, I left there feeling super disappointed. read more

Let me just start off by saying this was my first time and I'm definitely coming back when I visit this city. The energy when I walked in was super relaxed and mellow. I went in for a pedicure and full set. Pedicure was done by Madison. She was very gentle as I had a cracked toenail, she explained the difference in the pedicures and even helped me pick my color. (I couldn't decide on the shade) Sophia was the one who did my nails, she was very nice, quick and efficient. Everyone in the salon made me feel as if I was at my home salon and that's such a great feeling! The customer service was immaculate read more

I go here every 3 weeks for my IBD fills and pedicures. I haven't ever had a bad experience, everyone is so welcoming, but they do get super busy especially on weekends. This was my first time going to a nail salon and I have to say that they have amazing customer service! I had booked an appointment over the phone and then called a day prior to my appointment asking if I could switch my appointment and they were very accommodating. I walked in and immediately was welcomed by the friendly staff! Madi did my pedicure was very friendly and made my experience a whole lot better considering it was my first time getting a pedicure, not to mention she did an excellent job on my toes!! I was then transferred to Isabel who did my nails and was very understanding of minor details I wanted to switch up and really listened to what I wanted and also did an amazing job on my nails!! I was worried reading these reviews since it was very hit or miss, but I definitely will be going back! read more

Let me start off by saying I love coming here. You're greeted by an amazing receptionist named J.P he makes you feel so welcome and always addresses you by your first name. So of course he makes you feel like family. Then I go see my favorite nail technician Toni she is absolutely amazing. Not only does she take her time and make sure your nails come out spectacular. She takes the time to know her clients! I always love my nails. I love coming here to just relax an get pampered. The management isn't the friendliest. They're constantly barking orders at their employees , which is terrible , especially when customers are there. That's the only thing that needs to change about this shop. Thank you Tony and JP for always taking care of me read more

This is a really beautiful location, I have had a great experiences here with the staff, they are clean and organized. Check in is seamless, wait times are not bad for walk ins, it's great. HOWEVER, I am leaving a three star review on behalf of my family member who was treated poorly there a while ago by a technician named Anna. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or what, however my aunt was given a pedicure for 15 minutes and she paid $60.00 for the pedicure. She addressed this with Anna and Anna was cutting her off and kept telling her that it was normal. Anna was also pushing her feet around and talking to her in a very rude tone, would not even look at her in the eyes. My aunt is super sweet and doesn't like to complain but I don't think anyone should be treated this way. My aunt was extremely uncomfortable and does not even want to go back. Maybe someone can talk to Anna about her customer service. She does beautiful work but it may not be worth it if she comes off as mean to clients. If my review was left on this interaction alone I would leave 1 star, but I don't think that would be fair to the rest of the technicians and staff as they are all friendly and nice and do great work. read more

I went there for a simple fill. The girl begin to sand my cuticles. Then she tells me that she doesn't have my color powder. She said I owe them $5.00 for the sanding of my one hand. I have dealt with them before and they were very prejudice towards me. I will never go there again. -0 read more

I have been coming here for months since moving to Hemet. I actually like the nail technicians, but the downside is an older lady who bullies the techs. I have made an appointment on ever visit and everytime I am here, my tech, Victor is told to work on other people while I am waiting. This isn't a coincidence. I am spending a lot of money, sometimes we'll over $200. I do not appreciate that she constantly bullies the techs especially on my appointment times. I have had my tech working on 3 people at the same time. It's unsanitary and just horrible services. At this point, I have no choice but to take it personally. As much as I love Victor"s work, I do not want to come back while she is here. I won't spend my hard earned money with any company that doesn't respect me. Not to mention, my nails didn't last, they started chipping after going back to get them fixed once before. I'm done. read more

This picture is only exactly a week after getting a fill.. BEWARE !! So disappointed in the both service and quality of nail materials they use at this location. It's my 1st and last visit. I had originally scheduled an appointment for a removal and new set. When I got there the nail technician keep telling me at I could just get a fill I didn't need all that and proceeded to just go with a fill. (I'm pretty easy going and didn't want to make it a big deal and let him do his thing). After I got them done and I went to pay, they charged me $75 (minus tip) FOR AN ACRYLIC FILL!! When I questioned the fee, the rep in front said that she just has to charge what the nail tech scheduled for? What the heck? Whatever, I leave and notice that my index finder was completely side ways but it what it is and I went on. I work from home and use no chemicals to clean my home and these nails by the first week growing out(normally) they started going yellow?! One nail just popped off 4 days after getting them done, & now they started chipping from the top and look absolutely horrendous. It's only been 7 days, and already need to take them off and get a new set.. Leaving this review for others like myself looking for a new nail tech or shop in town, (moved here about a year ago & still can't find a place). read more

5 STARS FOR THE GIRLS!!! I contemplated on how to review this place. Sat on it a few days. Reality is, the girls here are talented and great! So the stars are solely for them. I will have to review again on what bothered me. Which was directly at the business owners. I got my full set done by Sophia. She's amazing! Her girl next to her Vee was the first person to do my nails a month ago. Both girls are amazing. I love my set both times. They keep you engaged, laughing, and just having a good time. I really enjoyed spending a Saturday afternoon with these ladies . Pedicures are definitely top notch here as well. The girls are awesome. Can't go wrong with any of them here. I will keep coming back because of the girls and how talented they are. 2 STARS FOR THE OWNERS I do have to say they have a wall of prices when you enter so they can't say you don't know the prices. But, they are upsell geniuses here! I work in sales and I thought I knew all the tricks. River nails takes the cake. I paid $195 for my full set and pedicure. Full set gel x medium - $75 Design $40 Soak off $10 Green Tea Pedicure $70 I knew about the full set, and the soak off but they got me on the design and the small extras that all added up. When I went to pay, the girl counted my fingers and just put it in the system. While getting my nails done, there's a girl walk around with an iPad asking if extras were done. The girls report if they did cuticles (extra). Lengths have different prices too. I wanted a tortoise style on my nails. They charged me for having to mix colors (extra) at some point the design wasn't coming out exactly as I asked for and then after a few attempts they were adamant to get it right. Even though I had said to just make a few of them plain. No design. Once I paid I understood why I was heavily being pushed to do a design on every finger. Each finger is extra!!! Crazy upselling!! Of course the gel is also extra! The girls sell you on the green tea pedicure because it includes the callus remover. But, don't tell you that the cuticles are extra on your toes too! Gel as expected, extra. It adds up quickly and right under your nose. When paying I also noticed that tip is on there starting at 15% and the custom button is way at the bottom. At the end of the day I didn't feel I got an almost $200 service. I will come back because of the girls but I will start being far more attentive and asking what is extra moving forward. read more

We had an appointment for 2 pedicures. We got there and they said it would be 10 minutes. They took one of us after 15 minutes, then took the other one of us after 30 minutes, and seated us separately - despite us requesting to be together when we made the appointment. They also didn't do any cuticle cleaning or ingrown cleaning. In addition, they SHARE files, brushes and containers with liquid between clients!!!!!! Will NEVER return here. Totally unsanitary. And it was a zoo. Nail techs though were very nice . But never returning due to lack of sanitation. read more

0 starts most nasty nail salon, if you don't want what you want, then go here, if your on a budget and expect to spend a certain amount of money don't go here they will up charge and not tell you. On top of it all if you want a man do man handle you with disrespect and they be ok with it then by all means be ok with allowing your daughters to visit this nail salon. On top of this the manager is just as disrespectful, will not allow you to talk, when your upset about your daughters being taken advantage of. 233 dollars for 1 pedi two full sets that were supper short and quality of work was horrible. read more

First and last time I will ever come here. I went in for a full and they took over 30 minutes to help me. Once I was done and about to pay the system froze and I wanted around 15 minutes more to pay. I had asked to just Zelle and she said no that it was working now. I paid and signed my receipt. Once I left about 20 minutes later I got a call back to pay because since the system froze it did not go through. She asked if now I could use the Zelle. No apology no offer for anything of the bad service and unprofessionalism. All she said was that things like that happen and it wasnt her fault because electronics can fail. The customer service was the worst here. Never again!! read more

I was really excited to try this place. I have heard such great things. I called and made an appointment for a pedicure. I showed up and sat down and the lady filled the tub with water. It was freezing, I asked her to make it hot and she did. She came over and I picked my pedicure. She took my polish off and shaped my toes and walked off. She was gone so long the water turned cold again. When she came back she added more water and the faucet fell off. She spent about 6 minutes fixing it. Put my deer back in and walked off to help another client pick a color. I sat for 11 minutes until she came back. The water was cold, her service sucked and I will never go back. I was so excited for the place, the vibe was so cool in there. Very sad. read more
