I got my eyebrows tinted at magic brow a while back and the girl did a great job. She understood what I was looking for. I went again Sunday on Mother's Day. This time there was a different person, Koplia (or something along those lines). I expressed what I wanted. She would nod and give hand gestures In response. I came out with mismatching eyebrows that were thicker than I asked. I have been here several times now and feel comfortable adding my review. We do not play around when it comes to our eyebrows. I fall into the group of women whose eyebrows are very light brown and always have to pencil them in just so you can see them. This place does threading, yup they are shaping your eyebrows with a piece of string. The reason that I prefer that is because there are no chemicals being used on your face which also prevents the dry red skin chaffing in between them not to mention how crazy you look right after it. I have been 3 different times now and had 3 different ladies do them for me. My favorite part about this place is not just getting them shaped... it is the dye they use after the threading. You get to pick the shade you want and it stay on for almost 2 months! So no more messy moments in your magnified X10 mirror pretending you can see without your glasses. This place does Brazilian wax in Winchester and they even promote here as well on their website. I called today and the lady on the phone blatantly told me they don't do it. If it's the same company why do they have different services? Very disappointed and don't have great customer service over the phone. You can be nicer next time. So I use to come here when I was in high school and my eyebrows would ALWAYS be left uneven. I recently just moved back from Long Beach and I hadn't gotten my brows done for 2 months. I had a feeling that if I came I would have a fresh beautiful set, since the lady would be starting from scratch. I was wrong. I'd give this place a 5 stars but that 5 stars solely goes to Heera who does my eye brows and the cleanliness of the place. I've followed Heera everywhere she's gone. She gives you the perfect shape of brows and really pays attention to details of your face to make sure whatever you get suits you! Overall, place is clean, the rest of the girls are good also. I see a lot of customers who come in and aren't so friendly and the girls here still do what they're supposed to do in a professional matter. I don't know what it is a culture shock for some customers or what but the Non-Hollywood music and movies that are played here along with the girls not all speaking in English in front of the customers sometimes rub the customers the wrong way and they get irritated so I would just say the girls can be more cheery so the customers don't think they're talking about them. read more

I had been here a few times but the last time I got my eyebrows threaded I was very disappointed and upset with the lady. I realized after the fact that I should of got her name but I was too upset after she threaded my eyebrows. I like my eyebrows to be thick and I had grown them out for about 2 weeks to have them cleaned up and shaped. She did the opposite of what I told her and made them really thin. After she was done I told her I didn't want them thin and she made up some nonsense about how that was the only way she could shape them. I can't say that this place is completely terrible just because of one person's inability to listen to the customer. This is my second time coming here and I had the same lady twice (shipla). The first time I went I asked for a clean up, my eyebrows have a natural arch yet somehow she managed to make them like downward parenthesis and on top of that she made my right brow more thinner and higher than my left brow. Now coming back a second time with an open mind hoping it'll be a better experience I can't say that I did. I got Shipla AGAIN even though I said I was willing to wait for the other girl that was present but she was busy with the other client so I had no choice. I told her NOT to touch my lower right brow since I wanted it to grow and the first thing she did WAS TOUCH THE LOWER RIGHT BROW. Now leaving and my left brow is still thicker than my right and she even tried to say I should go thinner in my right to even out my left?? Clean, fast, and cheap, but I've gone for the last time. I used to go years ago and stopped after they tinted my brows poorly (which they're not supposed to do in the first place). Came back out of convenience and left very displeased. There is a new lady working there and she is terrible. I have naturally nice eyebrows it's pretty hard to mess them up. However this lady somehow managed to make them really thin and uneven. My eyebrows have a natural arch and are pretty squared she left him looking like parentheses. She also took a longggg time doing them it felt as though she was plucking each individual hair. I used to love coming here to get my eye brows done..I would always get them done by one girl until she stopped working there. Or I just seemed to go on the days she wasn't & man that was a huge mistake. The first time I tried to get my eye brows done by a new girl I told her that I just wanted them cleaned (because I was trying to grow them out to be thicker) she seemed to know what I meant but to my horror she did them extremely thin! Amna does a wonderful job at threading!! Her technique is not rough or harsh at all!! I never have any swelling or cuts on my face with her, only some mild redness which is normal. I've been to many threaders who will drag the thread across my face and eyebrows causing cuts and scabs..... And that should NOT be happening!! It's clean and friendly, and they always do a fantastic job. I like my eyebrows on the thick side. I came to get my eyebrows done and they usually do a wonderful job. They lady that usually does them hasn't been there lately so i decided to go with someone else. I have never had a problem until today. My eyebrows were left completely uneven, that was visible as day is to night. I am usually okay with something I can fix, and i don't like making a big deal out of it. I only wanted them clean but one was left really thin,and the other completely straight. Both are different lengths too. There are stray hairs everywhere and now im left to see how I'm going to fix this mess right before Senior Prom. Great way to end my week. read more

I've been going here for a little over a year because its location is close to me. Basically all the eyebrow technicians can do my brows and I always like them. Only once did my brows come out too thin. For myself I actually like that the girls sometimes take charge and do their own shaping because they know more eyebrow shapes then I do.
