Unacceptable Behavior Toward My 11-Year-Old Sister I've been coming to this eyebrow place for a while, and the woman who usually does our brows is incredibly sweet and talented she always does an amazing job, and we really appreciate her. Unfortunately, during our most recent visit, another employee (I believe she also does henna) made a body-shaming comment toward my 11-year-old sister, and it completely ruined the experience. My sister left feeling embarrassed and hurt, which is heartbreaking and unacceptable. No child should be made to feel uncomfortable about their body especially in a professional setting. This kind of behavior is not okay and needs to be addressed. We love the usual lady we see, but because of this experience, we're now hesitant to come back. I hope the business takes this seriously and ensures all customers are treated with kindness and respect especially kids. read more

Dipka is my go to and she has never done me wrong in the four years since I first started getting my brows threaded. I moved a couple years ago and hadn't been to this location in a while. I went in yesterday and the new girl, Nisha, was the only one working. I wish I bad turned around and walked out the door right then and there. I prefer my brows thick, so I said that I just wanted a cleanup and she seemed to understand. However, as she was working, it seemed like she was taking quite a bit of hair off. I didn't notice right away, because I didn't have my glasses on when I looked in the mirror. I was absolutely devastated when I finally got a good look later. My right brow came out okay, though she left it without much of an arch. My left one, however, was completely butchered! It's half the thickness of my right one! Great prices. Very clean and nicely decorated. They do a nice job with the threading and again, the prices are unbeatable! It hurts a little more than other places but you wont find a single missed hair...and it wont grow back in a week! Its tucked away in the corner of the shopping center. Let me start off by saying I've been coming to this place for half a year and never had anything negative to say because they all used to do such an amazing job. Now there's this new girl called Nisha (not quite sure how to spell her name). She messed up my eyebrows. I am pissed! She left me 3 small bald spots in my inner eyebrow! One eyebrow thicker than the other and she didn't even shape my eyebrows! She also rushed on doing my eyebrows my guess is because there was other people waiting. if I could give this place 0 stars I would. I moved cities and I'm trying to find a place that does my eyebrows good like my OG lady. I came to this place once and I wasn't even laying down for 4 minutes and she was done?! I was shocked because my OG lady takes atleast 10 min because she takes her time. I was very dissatisfied with my eyebrows because she left the uneven. So I came back for the second time to give it a chance .... and she left them waaaaay too thin when I specifically told her how I wanted them. Not only that , she didn't even rub lotion on my eyebrows or anything. So with that being said,never coming to this place again. Let me know if there's any good threading places in MoVal. read more

( Eyebrows) Just make sure your edges around your line are super clean and sharp because they sometimes do not care to remove a few extra hairs because they get so busy!! I can't stand when you go to get something as crucial as your eyebrows done and the threading technician doesn't listen and goes all rogue on your face! Trust me, it's happened before! Not everyone wants to walk away with a sharpie line of hair on their face! If eyes are the window to the soul, then eyebrows are the curtains and I need something there to frame this big brown beauty's of mine, but I digress. This place is okay is close to where I live. I went in there and got helped by older lady, I should of just stayed with my the original two girls that have been doing my eyebrows . Well to make the story short I went there and I told her to shape them up and she said no she can't do I was annoyed because I always get them shaped. I was getting my usual grande iced coffee with white mocha syrup when i noticed Namaste. I'm constantly in this area but being the self centered young adult that I am, I never noticed the other businesses in the shopping center. I walked to my car and once I was inside, I looked in the mirror and realized I was LONG over due to get my eyebrows done. Somehow I let my eyebrows get to the point where I looked like Chewbacca's baby sister (and as you can imagine that's not a cute look for anyone!) I figured that seeing the salon was a sign from God to do something about those nasty brows, so I searched Namaste on yelp. I saw all the 5 star reviews so I figured "why not give it a try?" I walked over to the salon and was very impressed with the inside. It's nicely decorated and very clean. What I wasn't impressed with was the lack of customer service. The 2 workers were busy threading 2 customers eyebrows and didn't even acknowledge my existence until 10 minutes later when they charged one of their customers and sent her on her way. One of the workers walked over to the chair and motioned her arm for me to come over. I sat down on the chair and she said nothing to me, she just started threading. She didn't ask what kind of shape I wanted, or if I had ever gotten my eyebrows threaded, she just jumped right in. She continued to thread my brows and said absolutely nothing to me except "hold" when she wanted me to hold below and above my brows. I couldn't believe that she was so rude and didn't introduce herself, ask how my day was going, nothing! I felt so awkward and stayed quiet until she was finished with the threading. She brought over the mirror and said "you like?" My eyebrows looked to my liking so i replied "yes" and went over to the register to pay. Even though she transformed my eyebrows from hairy creature to actual lady, is it so much to ask for a place that has great customer service too? Overall, not impressed with this place. If I'm going to give my money to an establishment I want it to be to people that actually care about their customers. $7.99 is very cheap for threading, but I definitely won't be coming back to this place. read more

Lala is amazing! I've been plucking my brows for the last few years as my last experience with threading wasn't the best out in orange county. So I decided to give eyebrow threading another shot and I am absolutely impressed! My eyebrows were bad and Lala completely revamped them..it was painless, quick and the end result was great. Lala does a great job when it comes to doing brows but the other girl not so great I don't what her name is but she did my brows when Lala was not in and i don't know they came out ok nothing special I went back and Lala was there and she looked at my brows and she was like where did you go? I already knew she meant my brows looked screwed up anyways I told her here with the other girl and well she just simply went on on doing them and was like every person has their own way of threading and so on. I came back again hoping she would be there and no she was not the other one was so I was like ok this time I will tell her to leave certain areas that needs growing and she was like oh a clean up. Horribly run business! I walked in around 5pm (business hours are 10-7pm) & was refused service because the employee said she hadn't taken her break. When I asked if she could help me before taking her break she again refused & told me to come back in 20 mins. I've never heard of a business refusing to help a customer during business hours because of a break. No one else working. read more
