Amazed by this salon! Called with no appointment, had never been to this salon before either...I called for my daughter who had her hair done the night before and it looked absolutely hideous, yellow and embarrassing..they were so sweet and nice. Beauty by Hayleigh Renee is who I trust with my hair color and cut. Hayleigh understand me and is not a cookie cutter stylist. She will not do anything that will damage your hair to the best of her ability. Horrible. I went in for a simple trim and cut of dead hair and i came out with extra bangs and my sides cut horribly. I am disappointed and sad that I have to wear my hair like this for the up coming months. Be very SPECIFIC with your instructions. I literally had a break down looking in the mirror lol. read more

I've never been so happy with my hair! Ask for Heather Watson, I've sent several people to her and they have all come back raving saying they FINALLY got exactly what they were looking for. She works with you to give you exactly that you've been wanting and finds a way to make it less expensive to maintain. Where my mom used to grow in grey it not looks blonde and she can go months not weeks if she wanted to, or she's got my blonde to where even when it grows out it still looks blonde and natural. Let's be honest, we've all put up with stylists who either gave us what they wanted not what we wanted or went to someone who was almost there but just not quite. My story ... I moved here to Hemet Dec of 2013. My biggest fear was finding a great hairdresser .I didn't want to travel over 100 miles to my old one which I had to a few times. I went to Rumers first o.k. job not to thrilled. Plus she thought she was in Beverly Hills with the price she wanted to charge REALLY !! I tried Hair reflection OMG Awful!!! **** 20 thumbs down ***** I have a med golden brown base with multiple color highlights and she went DARK BROWN with highlights I couldn't even see. This color washed me out and was horrible what was she thinking!! She wasn't! She never even offered to fix it ... So my only hope was to drive 100 miles to my old hairdresser if I wanted to continue my look. Plus he fixed my color from Hair reflection . I shop for my odds n ends at the Dollar Tree . A lady who worked there had the most amazing color ever. She had auburn hair with gorgeous highlight OMG Beautiful !! I asked her where did she get her hair done and she said at Salon La Vida been going there for 10 years. So I build up the courage and spoke to a very lovely lady named Victoria Diaz. She looked over my hair color and said she would be able to follow my color scheme If not happy she would fix my color until I was satisfied . So I tried her and I have to say she is an Amazing Colorist and also she styled my hair to perfection.******LOVE HER******** Also just had my Brazilian Blowout on Monday and couldn't be happier. Have recently moved to Hemet, previously had the same hair dresser for 6 years (I swore I'd never leave her), no longer can justify the 12 hour round trip to see her just for a haircut. Asked all my FB friends for the best spot in Hemet/Temecula, had 80% recommend this place. I tried it, loved the cut (and the prices! only $30 for a cut). I will have to say I probably won't visit the same girl again, but that was just a personal connection thing. She still did a great job. I made an appointment with this salon based on its reviews. The appointment was scheduled with Kaiya for a simple cut and face framing highlight. I sent her pictures of what I wanted. Thought we were all set, then I get a text on Thursday night from Kaiya that there was an emergency and she would not be able to keep appointment for Friday. Needless to say I was not happy, but this happens. So the following week I decide to walk in and hope to be seen by someone more professional, big mistake! Kaiya came out to great me. I was a little hesitant because she was very young, but I needed a cut badly and wanted to do something in highlight to frame my face. I was there from about 10:30 am to about 2:15pm. Waited 20 minutes before I was even aknowledged, then was told I would be seen in 45 minutes for a simple haircut. Everything would have been fine if i didn't see multiple hair stylists talking to each other, looking at thier phone's, and even cutting each other's hair. One stylist even left because her next appointment wasn't for another hour, leaving me to wait. After all was said and done I left after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes because I had class and work and still needed to get ready and eat. I guess I will try again tomorrow. read more

She took her time and explained to me exactly what she was going to do, asked me clear and open ended questions on how I like to style my hair ect. I drove from Temecula to Hemet. Based from the name, I was expecting a quaint and smaller establishment. Dude, this place is top-notch. Hidden on the east side of Hemet lies a diamond-in-the-ruff. The physical site is probably the most impressive salon I have been in, in all the Inland Empire. It reminded me of the west side of L.A. The staff was courteous and I waited no more than five minutes. Emily cut my hair. She was a great conversationalist and asked me all the right questions about what I like about my hair and what I do not like... you know, stuff you do not get when you go to Supercuts... like "you say you comb your hair back, do you comb it back straight, or towards the middle of sides?" This may not seem like a big deal to you, but for me it is. If I had a dollar for every haircut I received tailored to an inside our outside comb when I comb it back, and subsequently having it all jacked up... I could buy you all a round. Perfect amount taken off, perfect blend, nice wash with soothing product. I was just blown away. I will continue to drive to Salon La Vida to get my doo did. OUTSTANDING WORK EMILY. The 1st time here with an appointment and my stylist was not even in the building I had to wait for her to show up, the owner was nice and courteous he made sure I had refreshments and that I was comfortable as I waited, when my stylist finally showed up, she took me in and listen to me as I explained to her what I wanted , she was experience and did a great job, I'm happy with my cut and how clean the salon was.
