My sister and I come here regularly. She is the one that brought me here as she discovered this gem. We usually see Amy but we have had the pleasure of pretty much having everyone here give us a mani or pedi. The shop is clean, everyone is friendly ... the salon has nice comfortable seating for pedicures. Prices are competitive. The salon is overall relaxing. They usually have good music or something good on the TV. They do an excellent job! If you can make an appointment do it! They get pretty busy. They have all kinds nice colors ... they have "Mood" colors nail polish. My sister pretty much gets this every time we come in. She is the queen of mood colors .. For manicures they have 8 dedicated stations and for pedicures they have 9 comfy massage giving chairs. They do waxing here as well. We haven't done that here yet but we hear they do a great job! We have been coming here for easily over 1 year or 2. and I feel that it was time I stopped forgetting to write the review. I'm usually not the one to complain, I've had sub par nail jobs before but in the end I know nails grow quickly and it's temporary since I get my mails done every two weeks. My experience at this salon was just horrible! A male helped me out the day I went in. I asked for a pedicure which he did all in 10 minutes with a smoke break in between. I had to ask him to cut my to nails and he responded with: oh you don't like them long? I didn't know what to think of his response. Meanwhile he did my pedicure he had me soak my previous gel (hand nails) in remover. I sat there for about 20 minutes, he kept coming back with the nail filing machine, which he kept switching off with another technician who was working with someone else (cross contamination!). Every time he filed my nails he had me continue to re dip them. After the 20 minutes my hands were white and a my skin felt rough to the touch. He then began to work on my hands and used a file which I believe may have been too course because it started burning the skin underneath my nail bed. At this point I decided to voice my concern and the other nail tech over heard. She came over and took over my gel manicure only to have an attitude with me. All in all this place is awful. My biggest pet peeve about this place, almost all nail polishes that were on the wall were all old. See for yourself. I don't always get gel so this is an issue. Also I didn't like how the prices were not displayed either. The owner did my manicure & everything was good up until she rushes on the polish & left bubbles & poorly painted nails. (not gel because I wanted to see how well they do on something so basic) The service was really lacking as well. I want to say that her husband is the male that did my pedicure. Terrible service!!!!! The man completely screwed up my nails. They are turning green!!! All they said they would do is put another coat over it. Why would I want to slather another coat on top of a crappy job. They won't give your money back they won't fix it. His repose was call the police. Beeaauutiful nails. I did a short rounded full set and they helped me pick the perfect color for christmas. It's just dazzling. I can't stop looking at them. The cutting of cuticles on my toes hurt a bit and the inside of nail was left with a lot of glue. I cleaned it out when I got home but aside from that, a very nice experience. read more

Amy the owner did a wonderful job on my nails today. I got a full set with white tips and a spa pedicure. Amy was very personable and friendly. She and another gentleman were the only ones working and they handled the business very quickly and efficiently with several people getting services on this Saturday afternoon, but I do recommend getting an appointment if you are on a time crunch. Lovely facility and very well maintained. Price was just right and not super expensive. My total bill was $47 before tip. There is a $1 charge for use of card. She is okay with adding on the tip when you use your card, but cash is always better. I will be back to get my fill in a few weeks. read more

I came here after seeing the Yelp reviews. I went to Glamour nails in the mall and they were terrible, so I was already on edge. Walked in, was greeted, seated, and taken care of. My nail bed is very thin, and my finger was cut, but David calmed me down. Amy is the real deal. I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Let me start by saying I went here more than once. I returned after the first time to give them another chance to provide and prove to me that they could provide BETTER service. Second time and third time around, not any better. I went in for a mani pedi and paid extra for the gel manicure. Extremely disappointed! Worst job I've ever seen, including the service. They rushed through the job and complained about having to remove the gel polish from my previous mani pedi. It's their job, I'm surprised they didn't attempt to charge me extra to remove the gel polish. And to finish, they didn't even give me the color I asked for. They kept pushing on a different shade and topped it off with an attitude. Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE! Don't waste your time or money here. Go some place else. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came in for a new set and looked at their nail samples for the color I wanted and then was informed they wouldn't be able to give me the non gel color. I have never had that happen at any salon. They always give you the option to use the non gel matching color. They told me my only choice was paying the extra $15 or picking from their disgusting wall of old colors which looked out dated and full of foam. So I went in for a gel manicure on Saturday afternoon on Sunday one of the nails already chipped I went in they told me to wait for about an hour since it was just a bit I left and filed the corner and it looked fine but now Tuesday a second one chipped I went in and again they say they won't be able to take me I'm for about an hour or to come back they are good at taking the money but when it comes to customer service they sucks I'd rather pay couple more bucks and get a better manicure this is my second time coming in and both times had a bad experience never again read more

Amy is so good. I only go to her because the I had a pedicure from the guy who works there and the nails were uneven. Everyone she works on my pedis they are perfect super friendly and she lets people know when she is too busy so people don't get upset waiting around. Worst place ever. Been to 3 salons due to moving and never been disappointed. Guy argued with me , I payed and walked out. Decided to go back because I wasn't paying $20 for messed up nails. I been coming here for awhile now. Amy and David are the ones that usually do my nails. Yesterday, there was only Amy another lady and another man that was there ( not david). Amy was busy so the man that was there did my nails. Thought I'd give him a try. After he was done removing off my gel i had a few minor lifts. He didnt bother to cut it off immediately apply the powder. When he applied the powder on my nails he only did the top area no powder on the side so it was missing some. He then noticed i was looking at them and got up and went to the next customer without saying anything. I let Amy know and she was happily able to fix my problem. It was only on 3 fingers but she end up doing it all. He might be good for pedicures but not acrylics. read more

It's been two years and they have never let me down. The service is great and they give you what you ask for. If they can't do it they will let you know instead of figuring out a way to take your money. They aren't the cheapest but you get what you pay for. read more

Update: I've been coming here for over a year and always love my nails but the last 2 times I went I've been unhappy. I took my acrylics off on my own and went to get a basic manicure. I left the salon with glue still on my nails and color from my previous set. It didn't look like they did anything and charged me $12. Ive had to update my review because the business has changed. it no longer cares about the customer. i disagree with the others about the smoking, noone smokes in the shop. but they do only have 2 techs most days ive gone twice during the week and only 2 techs. when i asked if more were going to show up i was told no, if you don't want to wait you have to make an appointment so the "walk ins welcome" sign is a lie. you get attitude instead of service. With so many other shops in the city you would think they would be more kind to those who want to spend their hard earned money there. so i did go down the street and find another shop that had good reviews and 8 employees to take care of the customers on a monday afternoon. and made an appointment THERE instead. I did like the way the owner did my nails but not the attitude and no customer service. read more

I'm giving 5 stars because I LOVE Amy. I have followed her to various shops over the past 15 years so I'm glad she has her own place. She always does exactly what I want, offers wonderful suggestions and doesn't over charge or suggest unnecessary things. Having said all that.....Amy has been out sick this week and I have an event this weekend so I have to get them done. First, I NEVER go without an appointment. I'm sitting here now 45 mins AFTER my time waiting for the other girl to do my nails. I am so disappointed since I am a regular customer. I haven't ever had to wait this long. The owner here is absolutely amazing, I came in at 6 with my best friends desperately needing a pedicure and fill. She took all three of us no questions asked even though all of her other technicians had gone for the day! Our pedicures came out amazing and she still took her time on each of us knowing it would keep her passed closing. We will most definitely be back! read more
