It was that time to buy new shoes both for casual wear and working out. Shoe Carnival has been a…read morereliable place where you can get shoes for a reasonable price. Let's see how the visits went. For both visits, they went very smooth. Finding my selections was no problem at all. The staff always welcomed Sophia and I during our two visits and were willing to help any way they could. The process didn't take long for me to select two pairs of shoes to my liking. And Sophia purchased a pair the 2nd time we were there. Checking out was definitely a breeze with staff and was seamless. There's not really much to add except that I was very pleased with the experience. This place still holds up and will be used again the next time we need shoes. Till next time :)

HOWEVER the one star is to the old lady working there who thought it was okay to parent my children???? I was checking out, mind you no one else in the store that you could see and the register lady was being really nice. My 8 year old started out rough with the wheel- I get it. I told him to stop and he did. his TWO year old brother who could barely spin it started trying it and as im giving my email this lady had thenerve to direct my children sternly???? excuse me? I didnt say anything and her badge of her name was hidden so I dont even have a name. HOWEVER that wheel is kid height- they did nothing but spin it and you talk ugly to my children???? Especially to my TWO year old who is just trying to get it to spin in the first place. Then when she walked around the counter and before i cohld even take a step my TWO year old tried again and she caught an atridue in her face towards him. will be going out of my way to go somewhere else and telling my clients and friends/family to do the same because who do you think you are talking to children you dont even know like that? Especially when they arnt doing anything wrong.

I went to the Good Feet Store last month after a last ditch effort. I had seen a sports medicine…read moredoctor (two different ones for two separate opinions) after I had started having severe pain in my right foot and could only tolerate walking on it on the outside of my foot. Both doctors, with X-rays, confirmed that I had arthritis with bone spurs and maybe therapy would help. The first doctor talked me into a cortisone shot. It didn't do a thing (I completely regret it) I finally booked an appt with the GFS and went the first of August. After a 2 hour appt with Brice to find the best fit for me, I walked out with a 3-part system. I followed it to a tee. I missed exercising and I wanted to do it again so I was determined to get my foot back, plus my hip had started hurting so I had started walking completely different now. I looked funny walking, and hated it. Anyway (gosh I sound like an influencer, i promise I'm not), I did all the exercises I was supposed to do but I found that the arches weren't enough for me. I needed more. Don't get me wrong, they helped a great deal, but it wasn't the perfect fit for my issue. I had a 1 month follow up today. I saw Milan (Brice wasn't there). He remeasured my foot and it had made a difference, but I told him my concern. I know I frustrated the heck out of him but he listened and after 45 minutes of trying different arches, I came home with some new ones to try. I walked Sam's Club for an hour in them after I left and they felt great. I am so happy. It may be expensive but it's worth the investment by far! It's a lifetime guarantee and sometimes it's not just your feet that need alignment but it's other areas, like your knees or hips. Thank you GFS!

Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal…read moreexperiences and my personal experiences alone, so without further delay please let's begin!. I stopped by to see if they had and Jordan Jumpman brand items like they sell on line! Sadly to say unless I overlooked it there was not one piece of clothing that displayed the jumpman Jordan brand, not one!!!.. I didn't even see any of the Jordan retro sneakers that they display on line either! I even put it a raffle for a pair of 11 Jordan Gama, size 11 on line but yet they didn't have not one pair of Jordan retro to sell.. Maybe I'm missing something but that seems like false advertising if you have stuff on line but nothing in store? Maybe I came at a bad time,I will not rule that out but this sure is a disappointment in my opinion! Will I return you ask? Sure, but only if I see what I'm looking for in store first!!..

They had plenty to choose from, and I am happy with the selection I made. Staff were very helpful once they realized I was over there, and the store has plenty of options for all kind of sports. It's always been on the pricey side (IMO) but you will get a variety of choices to fit your needs. Convenient location - Check them out!

Great customer service…read more.. My daughter and I visited this location during the week and other than us only two other customers were inside. Two employees were working... But soon as we stepped inside we were immediately greeted by the employee, Jimmy! He advised the deals and asked if we needed assistance looking for anything... we thanked him and began to browse... My daughter found some shoes she liked... tried them on and realized she liked one better than the other but we needed it in a larger size. Jimmy offered to see if the shoe was available in her size... and it was! We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and Jimmy advised he could order the shoe and that it would be available for pick up the next day about 2pm. Great customer service I'd say! I returned the next day about 6 pm and the shoe was ready for pick up. I had just missed Jimmy, but Lakiesha was there to check me out. She was super friendly as well and we engaged in small talk. Both visits were great! No waiting in line... no hassle... and my daughter was satisfied. The store is located in the busy Victory Crossing Shopping Center in Portsmouth. Stores in the center include: GameStop, FarmFresh, Payless, Rainbow, ABC to name a few and the Dollar Store is within walking distance. There is also a Wendy's, WaWa and Krispy Kreme nearby. I'd recommend you give this location a try. It seems if the shoe is not available it can be ordered and delivered within 24 hours. Have fun and enjoy life :)

I often get $10 off $75 coupons and BOGO 1/2 announcements emailed to me. Clearance is hit/miss; large stock for women's, decent for men's, and puny for kids. Still, I scored a pair of $20 sz 4 ASICS yesterday for my oldest son who savagely grew overnight. Beware clearance shoes are EXCLUDED from any sales or promos. No double dipping at this "Carnival." Front counter employees welcomed us on entry but floor employees ignored us. At least they weren't coaxing us to "step right up." Would have been nice at checkout to have more than one register open to avoid a line 6 customers deep. They do have a single "basketball hoop challenge" located in the left rear of the store near the men's clearance; great distraction for kids, in theory, until parents don't pay attention to the rowdy havoc their "angels" are causing. Occasionally, you'll hear overhead announcements reminiscent of Kmart blue light specials. I think they offered a trivia question where the first correct answer got to spin a wheel at the front of the store.
